  1. I was just wondering how many people here have actually spoken in tongues AND prophesied according to Acts 19:6 and 1st Corinthians 14:1-5, and what it meant to you and how important it is for the average Christian to have this experience and what is called the "baptism of the Holy Spirit"? Because from what i hear some preachers saying is that it is almost critical that you have this experience and not just one time, but in learning how to pray in tongues on a regular basis. So basically i was just curious how Biblical this is for us today and if it's something that we should pray to have and experience or if it was just something for the early Christian believers?
  2. Well you are probably right, even when it comes to dealing with our enemies, but i do believe He can at times allow others to come in and wreck some things whenever we may be getting off track or doing things on our own and against His will. But it is true that we should always pray for those who do mess up our lives or cause us a lot of pain especially if it was allowed by God for our own good.
  3. I believe 666=18, which means "bondage" in Biblical numerics, so anytime you see this number then BE CAREFUL, as far as having any dealings with those who are associated with it...and yes that's what i am saying, that numbers actually do mean something in the Bible, but each person has to make up their own mind of course.
  4. Not sure about this but do have some questions about AL-ANON, such as why are those involved so uptight all the time if they are truly "delivered" from alcoholism? Of course that doesn't mean ALL of them are this way but a personal mechanic/former supervisor of mine had some issues i noticed, one of which was using the "F word", and finally to myself, telling me to my face that he thought he was just wasting his "effing time" with me, and told me to leave, which i did. I even witnessed him literally screaming and cursing at one of his tenants for something she had said that offended him i suppose?? And i think maybe he didn't like the fact that i preferred staying with my Mom(who he didn't like as well of course) instead of renting a room at his place? Either way it's all good since i really didn't even need any reasons to avoid A-anonymous, and have already heard more than enough not to have to be talked into going to their useless meetings by some foul-mouthed supporter of theirs.
  5. So God is a "wrecker" huh...well maybe some people(like myself) deserve to have their lives wrecked...so be it.
  6. Well i have to point out that i was wrong about the 70 year generation from 1948, since that would have ended in 2018, so then that should pretty much sum up what Mr. Horn's "prophecies" are all about, but i don't like to judge people so will leave it to someone else to do so. And Psalms 90:10 does also say that our years could be extended to 80, meaning the average life span, or a generation as some scholars believe. But either way my own opinion is that it will most likely be somewhere in between(maybe 77) but i guess that would be a real downer now to say we still have at least 4 more years after what we went through in 2020, especially to those who are/were expecting to be raptured out of here? And if 2025 will be the very END, then that would mean there is/was no rapture, but the "any dayers" (as i refer to them) cannot really be dissauded that much, and so i would assume many of them are still believing 2021 will be the year it happens?!?
  7. Well not sure how "prophetic" the number 24 is, but i do recall somewhere hearing that 2024 would be the year of Christ's return and it was mainly because of the Biblical significance of this number. But lately have been thinking about the so-called 70 and 120 years generations mentioned in various places, or maybe only one or two, i'm only going by what some "scholars" have stated. Either way, the 70 is easy, starting in 1948, when Israel became a nation, and the 120 in 1908, but won't mention what happened then since if no one is aware or even feels led to look it up then it must not be important...even though if it happened NOW, well lets just say it would probably be kind of a BIG deal!!! But anyway both timelines would bring it to about 2028, which i only am mentioning because of some very self-assured "prophet" of sorts i have seen on Youtube saying something about a meteor/comet hitting the earth in 2029 which would be the beginning of the END, so to speak? But am saying all this just to point out that we may not be as close as it seems we are...but just saying of course. And btw, that guys name is Thomas Horn, and if anyone knows anything about him, such as him having already given some false "prophecies" or whatever, then feel free to share that, because from what i have seen thus far, he seems to be one of those "can do/say no wrong" kind of people, but maybe just like what's his name that predicted all kinds of crazy stuff/chaos happening back in November???
  8. Ok, but what if you end up homeless or without an "estate" to answer for you, as odd as that may sound to the average wealthy Christian who is still pondering whether to even give 10%?? Since i am at home now due to the Covid mess, and have already been threatened that i could end up on the streets if i don't change my attitude, even though i have not physically or verbally threatened anyone else here, but that's another story. If anyone doesn't feel obligated to at least give a tithe then that is between them and God and i am not to judge them. But i personally feel guilty for not doing so, and also for not having a "will" prepared in advance in case i do pass away sooner than i can pay off my debts. And some of us just aren't as socially "savvy" enough to know how to go about getting all this lawyer crap taken care of regarding what is to become of what very little you may have left, if anything??
  9. There coming for me...LOL...God would never allow that much excitement in my life, whoever the hell "they" might have been, and wasn't even worth reading the other posts to find out...
  10. Yes i agree that Luke-19:8 wasn't really talking about paying off debts, but couldn't find any other verses that might apply, which is why i was asking if anyone knew of some others that would apply. But i do think the part of giving 1/2 of what you own to the poor is signicant, since you are not going to be able to give anything if you still have debts to pay off, unless you simply go ahead and "tithe" anyway before anything else, which is really another topic altogether. Such as should you give 10 percent of your income towards your debts first, or simply divide it up between that and what you might give to charity or your church? And some might say money is not really that important to God, but i always hear these prosperity preachers saying how it is mentioned more times in the Bible than almost anything else, but not sure how true that really is?
  11. Hello to all- Well this question is based primarily on Luke-19:8, since i couldn't find another verse which might be more relevant. But was just wondering about how God might judge those(such as me) who owe over $2000 in credit card debt and end up dying, or the Lord returns before any of it is paid off? And also is owing money to a Bank the same as owing it to an individual, who may actually really need it paid back ASAP, and are there any specific verses about this? But either way I know God forgives all "debts" monetary or otherwise, but still i can't see Him being too happy about it. And my own opinion is that you might forfeit some of the rewards you may have received, and that there will be a level of embarrassment associated with that and seeing so many others receiving so much more as far as approval from our Father is concerned, but then that could also happen because of other sins as well. Anyway it's just something i have been feeling really guilty about, and it most of it is due to Covid and being unemployed and not just careless spending.
  12. Thanks for the encouragement...and hopefully i will feel more motivated to pray for unbelievers, since they really need it much more than we do, and i also don't seem to be doing too good a job praying for myself...
  13. Well no wonder i missed it, but it just seemed very strange to have happened in a year such as this? But then i guess life goes on and people go back to work wearing masks and getting their temps checked every day, ho-hum....that is of course for those with jobs to go back to.
  14. Well i was first of all quite shocked when i realized i actually didn't even know about this, and missed it completely! But sure enough there was one last year, meaning a Full moon in the same month on October 1st and 31st(Halloween) which is rare in itself, and even moreso because of the date of course. But was really just wondering if anyone thought this was prophetic in anyway, or when the last time it happened this way on these days. And btw, November 1st is "All Saints Day", which was really kind of the Church's answer at the time to Hallow's Eve on the 31st.
  15. I personally believe it to be IN the right hand, meaning a national ID card or something similar that people will carry, since the RIGHT hand is considered the good side in the Old Testament and the New as well, but don't have time to go into that now and if it's important enough then i'm sure someone else will. But for now i'll just say i am almost certain it will NOT be some computer chip under our skin, but something that is in our hand and head(mind) meaning it is what you are doing for the BEAST world system and how you feel about it such as worshipping it even if you don;t realize that is what you are actually doing. But the 666 mark will be completely voluntary and you will be held accountable for taking it, which of course goes without saying. Meaning you won't be able to use "no one told me" as some explanation or excuse, since everyone will know exactly what it means, just like these Biden supporters/subservients know exactly what it means to in a sense "worship" his agenda and all that he stands for, period.
  16. Well if you tell me i will someday be doing the same thing then i will say that you ARE crazy...but then again, who am i too judge whether what we consider to be crazy is actually what God might be calling us to do?? And for some reason i have always felt drawn to the Sacramento/Northern California region in particular...but then who wouldn't felt led to paradise, which from what i've heard is basically almost anywhere in this State, as long as the wildfires are not going on of course!
  17. Well my Mom made the same mistake over 30 years ago, and she actually told me about it years later which is not at all what I would have expected her to do since she is usually a very private person, even with me. But i know now that it was because of the overwhelming guilt she was feeling over it and actually she told me about a second time just to remind me, almost as if she were begging for a prayer over this. And i feel even worse about it because of having made her life so much more miserable due to my many mistakes of youth with getting into so much trouble which i won't bother to mention now. But i will say that is one reason i feel a bit more sympathetic to females in general who have done this(abortion) and always will empathize with them much more than i will listen to someone condemning them for it, no matter how evil it may be. Because i have accepted the fact that we can really do nothing to stop this and it will not be going away until Christ finally comes again, period.
  18. Well maybe you haven't been missing much, but never been there myself so who am i to say? Either way that is not where Josheb is even from so maybe he was right about what i assume he was insinuating? And maybe if you had been a bit more creative such as calling yourself something like the DuckofDeath then it might have made your intents a bit more obvious to us who are a bit slow, or either just don't even care why you are here. But then if you are not too familiar with Eastwood movies then never mind, even though that movie title may have been very appropriate? Seriously though, I does seem like there is a bit more going on here than some simple "trolling" and maybe even some drug/alcohol use involved, since i do know a little about those things. Or maybe just someone who is lost and this is their way of reaching out in a way, not to refer to you in the third person but at this point i'm not really exactly how to refer to you?? But as far as debating goes, i think that most guys like myself tend to shy away from getting into it with someone of the opposite sex(unless they are Atheist). But then i could just be replying to a "troll" which makes all this just as meaningless as every single thing YOU have said up to this point...??
  19. I agree, and whatever God's final decision is will be 110% completely justified and righteous, period. But my original question was basically in asking how He judges, whether it's based on what the unborn child WOULD have done later in life? And one point i failed to mention was that in Psalms-51:5..."Behold i was brought forth in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." So then my confusion is about where the teaching comes from that we are all born in innocence because we don't yet have freewill to make any kind of rational decisions, such as knowing right from wrong?? But according to this verse we actually are already in a state of "sin" as soon as we are born and therefore would technically be subject to any sins that we may have committed later in life. And what if someone like Charles Manson would have been aborted, would they be in heaven right now?? But really i guess it would only matter to the mother herself, as far as wanting to see that child again, and if they would have turned out to be a serial killer then i would think she would not really be too interested in seeing them again?? So maybe it's really all a moot point, and how God judges the "innocent" is really His business and like i said, it will be justified regardless.
  20. No, i think Duck is just fine, and i guess i just never got that memo about that online name only being used by women?? But either way i was really referring to anyone in general who may have something against women which is why i didn't quote you directly, duh? Just kidding... Take it easy-
  21. Yes Cain killed Abel with his OWN HANDS, and would have disposed of his body and been done with it if God had not intervened. And even then, Cain was only to be cursed for the rest of his life, but it doesn't indicate that he would be refused salvation if he ultimately repented. BUT, i do believe he did end up going to that same side in "Hades" where the rich man ended up in Luke-16, but now we are getting into a completely different discussion about second chances for those born before Christ/salvation. But again, i would make the point of "murder" as being an act that one commits all on their own, in an entirely physical way they are directly involved in. But now i know one would say that a woman killed her child by having it aborted, and is no different than doing it with her own hands, but the fact is that she didn't. And my argument is that if abortion was actually illegal and their was no way or means of a woman having it done, then i would think it most likely that she would simply have it and then put it up for adoption? But then i know there are many cases where dead babies have been found in trashcans in bathrooms, etc., and how God chooses to judge that is His decision alone. And i can even see how many Christians would judge such Mothers to Hell without any reservation. But again, scripture only mentions ONE unforgivable sin, and to put an abortion on the same level as that is quite a step to take, and actually makes me feel like there might be something much more personal going on, such as feelings one may have against women in particular...but am only guessing, and actually hoping i am wrong??
  22. Well either way, if they go to Hell for that even after repenting, it doesn't sound like you would be too broken up about it?? But guess it's just that i have plenty of my own past sins or skeletons in the closet that i still sometimes struggle coming to grips with, so maybe i am just not as judgemental as i should be?
  23. Well in my own opinion about David, simply the way in which he wrote about the Lord God Almighty on so many occassions in Psalms makes it very apparent that he fully expected to be with Him after he died, such as "I will dwell in the house of the Lord FOREVER." {Psalm-23:6} As far as murder goes, the word "kill" in the 10 commandments is translated as "murder, slay" and is committed as a premeditated act. Now if you want to accuse abortion doctors of murder then fine, but i can't see how you could say the same about the mother. Of course she must repent but it's not anything that she should constantly grieve over and feel guilty about the rest of her life. That would almost be like telling Christ thanks for the greatest sacrifice for Human kind ever made...but just don't think it was enough to forgive my own sins...??
