You are right brother, it is insane. Whats even worse is that its destroying there bodies and people who have tried to "change" there gender through medical procedures and drugs are regretting it. There bodies are rejecting the drugs and procedures at a time when they are still maturing and it is ruining there lives.

Its tragic that someone has to die to raise awareness of an injustice but I was always taught, dont give the police a reason to put you on the ground and they won't put you on the ground. cant remember where ( and I should) but I know in the bible we are told that if we obey the law, there will be no reason to hide from the law. Hi Caitlin, Im new ( one year) also and struggled with doubt for almost a year and was worried if I was completely lost. First things first, I was naïve enough to think "ok, Im a child of God now so the enemy will not mess with me now" WRONG, He came at me even worse! In my case he is probably thinking Whoa! I had you for 40 plus years, no way Im let'n go this late in the game! Doubt and fear are two of his best tools and he WILL use them. One thing I have learned so far is God is far greater than we are, there is NO ONE who wants Him in there life beyond His reach, to think you are hopeless and lost is kind of like thinking "my sins and my life are beyond Gods help" Thats the enemy making you think that. There is nothing beyond God, He is far greater than us. Cant remember the verse but He tells us in the bible that it is NOT His WILL, that ANY should perish and that means YOU also. I recommend reading the book Victory over the Darkness, it will help you see and understand who you are in Jesus. As for your dreams, it was just a dream. Forget it. The fact that you are so concerned about your eternal security is a good thing! do not let the enemy turn it against you because he will if you let him, don't focus on doubt or your thoughts. remember the enemy twists scripture also. The way I see it, if you didnt care THEN you could say Im lost. Read and heed what Jesus says in the bible, God will NOT lie to you, the enemy will lie his fool head off to get you away from God.

My denomination is simply Christian. The church I go to must teach from the Bible with no mandatory "man made doctrine" to follow before you can become a member.

I had to learn that the hard way, got attacked on here over the meaning of John 14:6. The topic was "Can a man forgive us our sins" I said no, only through Jesus can we be forgiven of our sins and was asked "Do you have scripture on that" and quoted John 14:6. Man! did the "yard stick" start swinging! LOL!

I canceled netflix when I learned they support and promote the gay and lesbian and transgender cause's. Just doesn't seem right to me to financially support a service that promotes things like that. Now they are working on pedophilia. Just my two cents.

I mean no disrespect brother but I highly disagree with the last two lines of your post, To say Jesus is trying to save no one but the elect in this age is false. It is not Gods will that ANY should perish. Romans 10:13 "For WHOMSOEVER shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved". If some one realise they have lived their life in sin and want to turn away and be saved by the Blood of Jesus, they will be saved. Gods word says (John 6:37) "Those who come to me I shall no wise cast out". He will not turn them away or deny them salvation. I think saying no one is going to be saved except the elect is very dangerous to people who are babes in Christ and struggling with sin, and especially dangerous to some one who is seeking the Lord. Beside when you die in your sins thats it. There is no purgatory or probation. Gods word makes that clear.

No, we are not to be offensive in a deliberate manner. We are to treat others with kindness and patience and respect, at times we let this nugget of wisdom and advice slip from our minds ( myself included) but the idea is to be a light to the world. We are ambassadors of Jesus.
