Here's some things the Lord said in His Word that if people do these things they will NOT be spending eternity with the Lord! See, I'm not the one judging people for doing these things... the LORD is the One Who says in His Word that those doing these things shall not go to Heaven. I'm simply telling others what the Lord has already said and since He cannot lie He will judge according to what He has already said! This is basic Christianity and is very simple to just take God at His Word! Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. *One must cease from sin for the work of Christ to be applicable to them. 1 Corinthians 6:9,10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Romans 1:28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death (separation from God), not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Romans 1:28-32 is WHY voting for political parties that promote abortion and sexual perversion is a sin! -

So when Jesus indicates in His Word certain things that causes one to no inherit His Kingdom... we should ignore His warnings? That's taking Him at His Word that He is not a liar! If we cannot trust God's Word as being truth that does not change, ya'll let me know cause if that's the case then Christianity is a farce and a waste of time! -

Those following catholic doctrines are not saved. Simply because they are doing things the Lord says in His Word are sinful such as talking to the dead (necromancy) and worshiping mary (idolatry) among other things. Nobody that has at least a basic understanding of the Gospel would claim catholics are saved seeing they are doing things that are in direct opposition to what the Lord says in His Word. This means one must takes sides and choose who is right! Is the Lord Jesus Christi right? Or is catholic doctrine right? I chose Jesus years ago so I cannot entertain any consideration for catholic doctrine since it's not taught by the Lord in His Word. -

God's Word is... Jesus And Jesus wrote this Book we have access to that provides instructions on how to be saved as well as warnings concerning when one's salvation is in danger. Matthew 18:3 Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Jesus also said by their fruit you would know them (Matthew 7:16) which of course is again going to be based on that Book the Lord published containing His instructions and His warnings So we need to go by what the Lord says. -
Nobody "makes" God do anything. God chose to provide a plan of salvation for mankind because it was not fair that one man (Adam) brought sin in to the world ... so the Lord is fair and just and He decided to bring forth Jesus that He would destroy the works of the devil which happens in real time at the end of this age when Jesus starts His 1000 year reign being King over the earth. Meanwhile, in our personal lives we can and should destroy the works of the devil in the right and here an now!

Those that do not know God's ways of being and doing right from His written Word... will not know that the anti-christ is not god. Many that say they are Christians will actually fall for the anti-christ and will believe the false prophet (the catholics pope) who will tell the entire world "this man has been sent by God to show us the way of salvation and for a better world" The deception will be so thick and strong that it will sounds as though who choose to NOT follow the anti-christ are blaspheming God. Once we you can know he is false and NOT of God is because he'll say that all religions lead to the same God which we see already thru the ecumenical movement.

The simple answer is for the same reason He did not stop Adam and Eve from sinning in the garden of Eden. He did not stop them because He created man in His own Image which means man has free will like the Lord does. Unlike the Lord, man keep following the devil and death and destruction are the results. The Lord is trying to get people to get born again, stop living as sinners, but few listen and obey.

So all we have to do when we continue in our sinful lifestyle is to just not think about it right? And of course don't let your pastor or other church members know about keeping that sinful lifestyle going!

Yes, gathering is something we are told to do in God's Word. And we need to understand that this is one of the primary avenues satan uses to spread false doctrine and deception. Because people have a tendency to get along just to be getting along so if they attend a church for a while and have friends there and the church starts teaching false doctrine and all the people buy in to it... most people will go ahead and support the false doctrine (which is sinful) just so they don't lose fellowship with the people they know. This is how the ecumenical movement is growing so fast where people are believing that all religions lead to salvation and sadly many Christians are being deceived by this movement which is the stage being set for the one world religion that will accompany the one world government and the anti-christ. -
OK, so Christians can live in sin and there is no punishment for it... gotcha. God's Word does not teach this. If one lives in sin, they are no longer in right standing with God and are no longer free from sin according to Jesus: John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Does that mean we can keep living in sin and be free from the punishment of sin which is separation from God? (Romans 6:23) Or, does it mean the Lord empowers us to actually quit living in sin?

This is absolutely true and correct, but hopefully the OP doesn't get confused when the once saved always saved people come along as say refusing to forgive others does not mean one will not go to Heaven when they die. Matthew 6:15 If ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. The once saved always saved teachings claim you can never lose your salvation but according to Jesus refusing to forgive will prevent one from getting in to His Kingdom because one cannot get in without their sins being forgiven.

Some claim as long as you acknowledge Jesus is real then you are saved and you can keep living in whatever sinful lifestyle you've always been involved in and it's all good and nobody's lives need to be changed as this is optional and isn't a big deal. Then, if you say "I'm still doing sinful things like I always have" they'll contradict themselves and turn around and say you can't sin and if you still are living in sin you were never saved in the first place. Lots of folks are confused about what it means to be born again.

Yeah but the calvinists claim if we do anything at all it's works and we are trying to earn our salvation So when you say "sinful humanity can only sin" does this mean you are still living in the sinful things you were doing before you got saved and your life did not change after getting born again? The New Testament says we can do all things THRU Christ that strengthens us... so is living in sin the only exception and He does not strengthen us to stop living in sin? I'm not talking about honest mistakes like maybe forgetting something or dropping something as we are not perfect in the literal sense and doing these things are related to sin and darkness being in the world. But doesn't the Lord strengthen us to quit doing things we know are sin such as lying, coveting, stealing, adultry, hating others (which is murder), sexual sins, etc, etc. After getting born again we just can't help but to keep doing these things?

In many churches here in the US... if they tried that, people in the congregation would shoot back! That is a deterrent to help prevent this as churches have people packin in the pews. -
