We're commanded to be humble, but it's hard for many of us

Thats a good rule! -
Oh i love Dr. Berg's content. Its very informative and simple.

According the prayer that Jesus taught us.... i can say this for 100% that Heaven is the place where God's kingdom is/ will be and Heaven is where God's will is done.

Amen. There are many example of it in the bible, but now this reminded me of David's situation when he sinned and murdered and married bathsheba ("bath"sheba lol what a fitting name)from her to Solomon and from Solomon to Jesus. Also Joseph situation where his brother sold him to slavery, he said (Genesis 50:20 ) "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive. God truly works in mysterious ways sometimes. haha Hallelujah!

Psalm 8:1-2 O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

I think they were referencing this when they mentioned Angel language, -Corinthians 13:1, "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.".

What is a way that you spend time with God each day?
Gracejj replied to Lotw8's topic in General Discussion
After reading all the replies, I can say that for most or many of us has developed this every day natural habit of being in a constant communion and communication with God, apart from the other "set apart" time that we may have. It's feels good to know that I am not alone or crazy for doing so haha. -
Brother in Christ, Don't let your heart be troubled, trust in God. Bible says, God has not given you the Spirit of fear .. "..for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. 1 Timothy 7:1" spirit of fear is from the enemy to paralyze you, enslave you, bind you in the confusion and uncertainty of the future. To keep you from progressing in the purpose of God for your life. The enemy can't take away the purpose that God jas for your life but he can use spirit of fear to keep you from progressing. Trust in God!! Psalm 53:3 "When I am afraid, I put my trust in you." God wants us to put our trust in Him in the moment of fear. When we put our trust in God, spirit of fear has no ground to stand on and you will overcome the fear by putting your trust in God. So put your trust in Jesus.🙏 Shalom!!

I think what FreeGrace meant is "cross" as a reference to coming of the Messiah aka Lord Jesus.

I know you asked clouds but I would like to add to his explanation that praying in tongues and speaking in toungues are two different thing, in one you speak a different language that you may not know but there will be people who know, speak and understand that language and able to interpret it because its their own language or mother toungue (which happened in the upper room), and the other one is some utterance that you utter during worshipping or prayer time where you and others doesn't have any understanding of what your are speaking bcos you utter mysteries by Spirit(1 Corinth 14:1-2). If that make sense.

Thank you for replying! So reading above passsge its my understanding that some of the benefits are- To edify themselves, bcos you're not speaking to people but God, and no one understands them bcos its a mystery by the Spirit. Its for yourself during your own quite prayer times. Shalom!
