Veterans Day is Friday, and this seemed to be appropriate to share. Whether you believe we should or should not be in the war is the issue. Please just take a minute to give blessing on those who have served our country, to those that are presently serving, and to those that have given their life. And remember the families that have also sacrificed all in support of our country. This will have you in tears

Yes! the heat was terrible today! I spent 4 hrs. on a roof putting a curb on it for a rooftop unit (i do H.V.A.C.) and I thought was goin to pass out a few times , taking a few breaks, I was also goin to cut grass when i got off work .. but after being in all that heat .. Nope, not gonna do it. . it will have to keep growin..... hmmm the "buying some cows idea ", aint soundin to bad right now!!!

I wanted to share with you all an expetience I had Yesterday afternoon.... I decided yesterday to take a relaxing afternoon and go fishing at a local lake here in my hometown, surprisingly there was only one other person at this lake fishing and as I walked around this small lake looking for a good spot to go fishing I felt just a peacefulness come over me, The weather was a comfortable 78 degrees and a slight breeze, I sat down and got my fishing gear positioned , I hd been fishing several times this year and had caught nothing, I sat there at first thinking... Will I Catch anything again today?. and as I sat there looking around at The hills around me, the trees in full bloom, the clouds as they drifted thru beautiful blue sky, the rocks embedded in the hillsides that had been there since the beginning of Creation that the God I know personally had created, I was in Complete awe of just how Awesome our God is, That he speaks to us even thru his Creation of this beautiful planet, I thought of his Presense there with me and began to weep, with tears flowing and not haveing to worry about a care in the world, that I could spend such a awesome time with My Lord in such a remote place, He reached down there at that lake yesterday and spent time with this sinner, He did'nt look upon the sin in me but looked upon yet another part of His creation that He loved so much He allowed for His son to die for me, I will not forget yesterday for a very long time ...... Take time ya'll and spend it with He that is your Creator of all! Oh and by The way, the Lord Blesed me with catching 4 fish Yesterday! He is so Awesome! Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Love in Christ .. (((((((((((((yomo)))))))))))))))) Yomo, Know that u are not alone Many of us are going thru a trying time right now, for me up until this past sunday I was being attacked spiritually at least i thought so, I was a mess .. Life situations and feelings got in the way of my faith , I allowed it, I allowed myself to get depressed , not looking pass the situation and not looking to the Lord, the way I should have ... we grow thru these times and sometimes the Lord allows it even though we do see that at the time, we are convicted of feeling the way we do, and as humans we take it the fleshly way instead of seeing that satan sneaks in sometimes and we dont recognize its him till we are already miserable .. thats how i was this past week .. looking at poor little ole me and my poor ole situation instead of looking to THE LORD... Sis yur Growing in The Lord .. Praise Him for yur trials a dear sister gave me a scripture here yesterday and i believe it hit The nail on the Head .. because the Lord spoke volume from it .. here it is maybe This verse can help u also.............. Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. Wow! I thank the Lord for men and women in our Armed Forces like this courageous Soldier! And Yes we should be there I agree, as long as it takes! it kinda puts things more into perspective when You hear just how much good our troops are doing there! My Hats off to them ! And They are in my thoughts everyday! We would not be so free to do as we please and take so many things for granted( which I for one am ashamed!)if not for those protecting our homefront and fighting Terror in places such as Iraq, so we remain free , and my thoughts and Prayers go out to those people in Iraq and Afghanistan who so desire a free nation!
