UK armed police halt partygoer in murderer fancydress
mrs replied to buckthesystem's topic in World News
Look why would ANYONE want to dress up as a murderer? Thats like just wrong and gross. -
Why don't you know? We aren't really a democracy we're socialist. I'm confused though because I live in Canada and we get charged tax on fast food and junk food; just not on other food. It sure doesn't stop people from going to Mcdees or the like.

Someone needs to go knock some sense into the ACLU. Give me a break. Why don't they go to court for the ppl being explioted in the porn industry, instead of for the addicts who want to watch it on public computers.

I would love to hear more about these swivelling hooks. Sounds like another unique and awesome design feature. Can anyone say Designer?

I hate wearing shoes. But obviously have to wear them in town and outside and etc. And its true that shoes help protect against the impact of hard surfaces.

Ah! You are assuming these Jews have not become His believers and followers then (become members of His Bride)? As the Bible tells us, He will save people from all tribes and tongues and nations; and that includes the Jews. The Bride of Christ is not just one select nation with a few Gentiles grafted in, for God's plan is much broader than that. Rather He chose the Jews to bring His Messiah into the world; through Whom He is redeeming His elect Bride to Himself. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! ~ Romans 11:33

1st mistake: His Bride is Israel and those nations who are joined to it. Your presumptive theological mistake is no where to be found in the Bible, no matter how many european theologians you could quote. 2nd mistake: God is merciful. IF He were to treat any of us like we deserved, no one would stand 3rd mistake: Arrogance towards the jews makes one a bigot. i don't think there will be bigots in the Kingdom come...which, btw, will be ruled from Jerusalem by the King of the Jews...the God of Israel so go back and read those verses again...they are extremely relevant to the darkness gripping your heart sin IS crouching at the door How dare you call me arrogant and infer what you did. How dare you say I am sinning just because I disagree with you on this. How dare you say there is "darkness" gripping my heart. I'm done talking to you; I will not talk to someone who can't even make a post in response without calling me names.

WN: Thousands March in Brussels to Protest Attacks on Christians in I
mrs replied to WorthyNewsBot's topic in World News
Good news. -
Why does everyone think that this stuff is the answer? Don't they understand the importance of ownership, independence, and diversity? Binding international rules is the gateway to losing freedom and especially religious freedom. Interesting how he is helping prepare everyone for the antichrist though.

be careful, brother Cain. Sin in crouching at the door. This is a purely humanistic comparison and it has caused you to envy. I dont see envy at all, just legitimate questions in her part Matthew 20 11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, 12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. 13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? 16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. Your quote doesnt apply. The OP is talking about the seeming difference in treatment between His Bride the Church, and the Jews. These are two seperate groups; not the same as the verses you used.

Since a secular government does not believe in the Bible or in God's warnings of future judgement they would hardly be preparing for such.

No one has quite addressed the question of is it ever right to lie.

I don't think you could prove that polygamy is just an extremist sect. Seems to me I remember learning that it was a Mormon thing itself and not just for ' radicals'. Fact is these men are disgusting to do such things to poor young teenagers! It turns the stomach.

Time is an absolute disagrace as a magazine. I'm not American but I'm shocked that they would pull a stunt like that with such a historic picture.

Is it ever right to lie? I mean frankly if someone asked where my sister was with intent to kill her I would lie....but are we supposed to?

Skirts help me feel feminine too! And turn the attention from sex appeal/ mens plaything to beauty as God designed it. -

Artsylady I just finished saying what a lame excuse it is to say that womens pants are different than mens; and you go and use that argument. And btw the first line in my post indicated I am not getting into an argument or discussion of this because I know it is a waste of time. I just thought it was fair to stand up for the few who were brave enough to jump in here. -

Those of you who are against wearing skirts listen to what I have to say cuz I'm only saying it once.. I find it very interesting that those of you who want to wear pants and make fun of those who try to be modest always jump on a few statements to justify yourselves: 1. This is north america and the 21st century 2. The OT verse is talking about mens garments not pants 3. There is such thing as womens pants and mens pants 4. Skirts are silly, immodest, impractical, oldfashioned etc. I think these are all very lame excuses. Have you stopped to consider that it wasnt until about the 1920s - and mainly in the war when women had to do the men's jobs - that women started wearing pants? Have you stopped to consider that for generations before that it was normal, established and expected for a woman to look like a woman and a man to look like a man? One way this was accomplished was by the striking difference in their clothing! Now tell me how a modern woman with her trim fitting pants, blazer and crew cut hair is displaying her beauty and femininity? Don't you see that you are not exercising freedom but rather you are losing beauty. You are allowing the world to blur the lines of the sexes as God designed it. Instead of instantly jumping on the "pants are modest too" bandwagon why don't you pause and listen to the other side? Perhaps there really is truth to the fact that formfitting pants - which 80% of womens pants are - are not quite so modest after all. Perhaps there really is truth to the concept that skirts give a woman back her femininity. Perhaps there really is truth to the fact that skirts are modest - as they have been for the past centuries. Perhaps there is truth to my belief that some things a woman is not meant to do. Perhaps instead of making fun of someone for striving to be modest in our sex-soaked culture you should support her and encourage her. Perhaps what is really needed is for Christianity in North America to get back to some good old-fashioned Biblical modesty. Perhaps what is needed is for those Christians to realize we are not the only culture on earth and in many many other cultures today the women dress modestly, ladylike, and do way more physical labour than we ever will. Perhaps instead of using grace to have full liberty to do as we please we should consider the concept of grace restraining us to do what is right and good. -

Carter is out of his mind and is insulting to fellow Americans with his actions. How dare he support or in any way condone a terrorist and the leader of such. Disgusting.

Wow what a difficult situation. I'm sorry to hear about that. :S I agree with those who say you need to talk to your father about it. This is something that will only get worse if he doesn't quit it now; but as it is something which is very addicting he will need help to do that. However you as a daughter can't really give that help besides the initial confrontation. Pray for God to soften his heart to the seriousness of this sin so that he will seek out accountability from wise men in the church. Many men in church struggle with this and most are deeply ashamed of it and never confess and get help; if your dad got the courage to admit it he would doubtless be surprised to know that those who help him have dealt with it previously in their own lives.
