  1. @douge Not sure what the point your trying to make?
  2. I agree there are some doctrinal issues in many of the HR movement but there are also lots of doctrinal issues in nearly all denomations. This is why I dont follow denominational teaching but rather the God's word. When we stand before God, he is going to judge you based on his law not your churches teachings. Brother, Faith in Y'shua does not nullify the commandments of God. Are Christians allowed to serve other gods, server idols, use the name of God wrongly, commit adultery, steal, murder, falsely accuse others, or lust after others possessions? Believers you who violate those commandments without repentance will not inherit eternal life. Keeping the Sabbath is also listed along with those fundamental commandments of God. Infact, the commadment to keep the Sabbath was instituted long before the Mosaic Law at the time of creation and given to all men to follow. Y'shua said the Sabbath was made for man, not just Israel. The majority of us have all violated these commandments but the good news is the Y'shua paid the price for our transgressions of the Law which is eternal death but the only way we can receive this payment is though faith and repentance. Sin is defined in scripture as transgress of God's law. If you have truly repented of sin then this means you are now keeping the commandments that Y'shua taught which is the Law of God. If not then you never truly repented and your faith is dead. Faith with out repentance is dead. You faith did not produce repentance. It would be like me coming into your home in the middle of the night while you are asleep to tell you your house is on fire and that you need to get up and get out or you are going to die, but you tell me that you believe and then get back in bed and fall back asleep. Did you really believe? No! If you had real faith in what I was telling you then you would have immediately got up and ran to safety. This is why John said that faith without works is dead. This is the same for Christians who say they have faith but continue to violate God's law. Y'shua said hypocrites honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. Y'shua taught is disciples to do and teach everything that he did and taught. Y'shua kept the commandments, sabbath and feast of God. We are to follow his example and commandments. Ponder these scriptures: [Jhn 14:15 KJV] 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. [Jhn 15:10 KJV] 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. [1Jo 2:3-4 KJV] 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [1Jo 3:24 KJV] 24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. [Rev 12:17 KJV] 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. [Rev 14:12 KJV] 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. [1Jo 3:4 KJV] 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
  3. @dhchristian Thanks for the article, but I honestly have to say I dont agree with it. The premise of that article suggest gentile believers should not impose Jewish/hebrew practices on non-Jewish/Hebrew believers. That argument has a lot of holes and grounded in antisemitism that was prevalent in Greek and Roman world. The Hebrew roots movement does not impose Jewish practices but rather biblical practices that Y'shua himself lived by and taught. Yes, there are a lot of non-biblical Jewish practices (traditions of men) that Y'shua even rebuked, but his is not what Hebrew Roots movement teach. Y'shua and the early church all kept and taught the commandments, sabbaths, and feast of God. These are not 'Jewish' practice but rather commandments given by God to his people to follow.
  4. Of course there are more than one gospel in the bible. Basically the gospel is a promise of good news to come. The gospel of Noah was promised to be saved from the Flood that was to come upon the earth. The gospel of Abraham was that he would be a Father of many nations and his children like the sand of the sea and that through his seed all the nations would be blessed. The Gospel of Moses was that God would deliver the Israelite's from Egyption bondage and bring them to a promise land. The gospel of the Israelite's after their falling away into sin and captivity was a promised Messiah, New Covenant and promised to restore the Kingdom of Israel/New Jerusalem with God as their King. The gospel we are currently under is the one promised to Israel but also includes the gentile believers All these gospel are leading and pointing to the Messiah.
  5. I think you've contradicted yourself in this post as it proves what I am saying. "he humbled himself in obedience to God" "Therefore, God elevated him" "Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" I don't know why you think this proves that the Son is actually literally the Father. No brother. Its not contradicting its just our lack of understanding. How can Paul say that Y'shua is God and in the same scripture say he submitted himself to God. Its sounds contradicting, unless you understand that Y'shua is fully God in the flesh, just as the scriptures stated. While he was in the flesh he humbled himself as man and took off his divine nature and was considered less than God even though he was God. He did this for an example as to how we are to live for God. After Y'shua was crucified and was raised from the dead, he returned to his rightful place as God Almighty. This is why the scriptures says we must believe that HE 'came in the flesh' or we are not of God.
  6. This is the mystery of the Gospel. That Y'shua and the Father are one and the same. He told his disciples if you have seen me then you have seen the Father for he and the Father are one and the same.. Isaiah prophesied the Messiah would be called the Almighty God and Everlasting Father. (Isa 9:6) Actually you can, because we are made in the image and likeness of Elohim. I can say my spirit is currently with my body and same for my soul. Those three make up one me not three persons. My spirit communicates with my soul and body and vise versa yet they are all me and we are all together one. The Col 1:16-17 says that Y'shua is above of all things to include those that are in heaven (where God dwells) and on earth. The mystery of the Gospel is that God took on the form of man to pay the debt for all of man sins, to destroy the works of Satan and to restore his kingdom on earth. [Phl 2:6-11 Though he (Y'shua) was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. 7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, 8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on a cross. 9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Paul teaches us that Y'shua was not just apart of the Godhead but that in him dwells the fullness of the Godhead. Meaning in Y'shua is fully Elohim(plural). Just as the scriptures said he is the Almighty Elohim and Eternal Father in bodily form. [Col 2:9 NKJV] 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; Y'shua is not a mini-God with delegated authority over some divided section of God's dimension. He is all God and over all things in both Heavenly realms and Earthly realms.
  7. I have not read that book. I have read books and articles about the persecution that takes place there and about the education torture camps they put them in. Honestly, I am very suspicious that the virus was used as bio-weapon against the protesters.
  8. My understanding from Scriptures is that Y'shua is God in the flesh. We read that in first chapter of the gospel of John were in the beginning was God and God made all things and then God became flesh and dwelled among us (Y'shua). The bible teaches that it was Y'shua who created all things. So when we read Gen 1 about where it says in the beginning God created heaven and earth, well that God is Y'shua. All things were created by him (Y'shua) and for him (Y'shua). [Col 1:16-17 KJV] 16 For by him (Y'shua) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. You stated that there is a hierarchy . In the scripture just quoted said that Y'shua is the head of all things meaning He is at the very top of this hierarchy and their is no one above him.
  9. Amen, for some reason lately God has been having me pray for 'doors to be opened' in China and I was not exactly sure why God had put that in my heart but now I am seeing why.
  10. Aman brother, I pray for the descendants of Abraham,Isaac, Jacob like Paul said Rom 9-11 that he longed for the day when all of Israel is to be saved. He says that God intentionally blinded them for the sake of the nations. Their falling away was for our benefit. It was his plan to bring salvation to the nations, so that he would pour out his grace on a people that once were not his people, but just as their falling away was for our benefit, the great apostasy/falling away of the gentile nations will be for the benefit of Israel. Paul says when the fullness of the Gentiles is finished that God is going to turn back to Israel for their redemption and that their return will be more glorious then the inclusion of the Gentiles. The prophets all prophesied of that day when God restores the northern lost 10 tribes of Israel along with southern tribes of Judea and Benjamin in the land he promised. The great apostasy/falling away of the nations will be end of the fullness of the Gentiles and that is when God turns back his attention to the descendants of Israel to restore them and then Y'shua will descend from heaven to gather the nations for slaughter and to establish his eternal kingdom on earth. The mystery is who and where are these 10 lost tribes of Israel that were scattered into all the nations that never returned after the Syrian captivity. Could it be that we the believers are apart of the lost tribes of Israel? James 1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
  11. Aman, Y'shua said the path that leads to eternal life is narrow and treacherous and only few who seek it will find it.
  12. Aman, it takes child like faith to trust God. For example, most of the miracles of the bible have to be accepted in faith like a child. Such as the 6 days of creation. A person who does not believe will refute those claims and make excuses and say, well God did not mean a literal 6 days and then will try to use man-made science over God's written word. A child would say, If God said it I believe it because God does not lie.
  13. I agree, the Law is still applicable and Y'shua taught that we are to keep the Law. The sermon on the mount was about keeping the Law correctly not like the religious leaders who only did for show but inwardly they were evil and corrupt. They would draw near to God with their lips but their hearts were far from him. They had an outward appearance of keeping the Law but inwardly they were evil wicked vipers full of evil. The purpose of the Law is to show us what sin is and drive us to Christ in repentance and forgiveness so that he can put the law of God in your hearts that we would not sin. Its God giving us his grace to obey him and live according to his will.
  14. Hello, I have been looking into the Hebrew Roots movement because I am not a fan dispensationalsim and really feel the greek/roman mindset which was very antisemitic stripped hebraic roots out of Christianity, such as changing the Sabbath to Sunday and doing away the Feast that God ordained for his people to keep and by replacing some of them with pagan festivals such as Christmas, Easter. I am in agreement with much of their teachings for the most part but eventually stumbled upon doctrinal issues that really disturbed me; chief one being the denial of the deity of Yahshua. I am not sure if this core teaching of the Hebrew Roots movement but I have found many do hold to this teaching. The ones I have met teach that Yahshua is a created being and lower in status to Elohim. Some teach that Yahshua is a god but not equal to God the Father. This has been a huge stumbling block for me to accept. I just want to get your guys take on this and I apologize if this has already been addressed. Jedi4Yah
  15. Christianity is a Jewish faith but not limited to just Jews.. Christ is a Jew and all the of the new testement writers are all jewish. The very first fiery christian revival was in Jerusalem and spread all over the world by Jews. I dont understand how people can say or think that Christianity is a non-jewish faith. Christianity is putting our faith in a Jewish God. There is no other way to way to God without faith in Christ to the Jew or Non-Jew.
  16. Here is a brain teaser. The bible says the all of God dwelled in Christ. Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Meaning the Father, Word and Spirit dwelled in him fully. He was not just a part of the trinity he was the trinity. Christ is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit all together.
  17. When I was in South Korea...I met two Iranian Christian families that had fled Iran due to persecution and settled in Korea. Not sure why South Korea. After talking to him he told me that in Iran there are unnumeral amount of underground Christians there and they are constantly under attack by the Iranian government. I also believe that Iran will be the army from the north that attacks Israel. With Obama in office no support for Israel against her enemies. In fact Obama thinks Israel is the enemy.
  18. It will be at the second coming at the end of the tribulation as stated by Jesus in scripture. Mat 24:27-31
  19. This is ad hominem argumentation. Calling a person boastful, offensive, boorish, and condescending doesn't prove that what that person has said is false. Regarding why so many quoted verses have been replied to with an "Amen. But...", that's because even when what some verses say doesn't appear difficult in itself, they can still be misinterpreted by failing to qualify them in light of what the rest of the Bible says. In order to arrive at correct doctrine, verses in one place in the Bible must be compared with (qualified by) other, related verses elsewhere in the Bible (Isaiah 28:9-10, 1 Corinthians 2:13). Our doctrine must be based on what the entire Bible says (2 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 4:4), and not just on what some unqualified verses say. Bible2 these guys know they have no truth to their argument, so they have switched from debating scripture to personal attacks. In my opinion this topic should have been closed a long time ago.
  20. Well, in my opinion, which doesn't mean much, you are "boasting" of your "knowledge" when you answer every post someone else posts with your "Amen. But..." I find it offensive, boorish and condescending. But again, it's just my opinion. Obviously when one can't defend theirf argument with scripture they switch to personal attacks. This is how all OSAS arguments end-up. Your argument is not with Bible2 but with the scripture.
  21. I think it sounds more like God is going to intervene in the later part of the tribulation on behalf of believers and say enough is enough I am getting my people out of there. Mat 24:21-22 for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be. (22) And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Revelation says that after the last of the seven trumpets the bowls of wrath begin. The scriptures also say that we will be taken at the last trumpet. So taken into the clouds to meet with our Lord and then the wrath begins below. Believers are not subject to the wrath of God.
  22. e Amen. But God makes the way of saved people perfect (2 Samuel 22:33, Psalms 18:32) only so long as they repent from every sin that they might commit and confess it to God (1 John 1:9). One way that a saved person can in the end lose his salvation is if he wrongly employs his will to commit sin without repentance (Hebrews 10:26-29, 1 Corinthians 9:27, Matthew 24:48-51, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, 2 Peter 2:20-22, Romans 8:13, 1 John 5:16, James 5:19-20). Also, another way that a saved person can in the end lose his salvation is if he wrongly employs his will to become utterly lazy without repentance (Matthew 25:26,30, John 15:2a, Romans 2:6-8, James 2:24, Philippians 2:12, 2 Corinthians 5:9, Revelation 22:14, Hebrews 5:9, 2 Peter 1:10-11, Hebrews 6:10-12, Philippians 3:11-14). Another way that a saved person can in the end lose his salvation is if he wrongly employs his will to commit apostasy (Hebrews 6:4-8, John 15:6, 2 Timothy 2:12, Mark 8:35-38, Matthew 24:9-13, Colossians 1:23, Hebrews 3:6,14, Matthew 13:21, Luke 8:13, 1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Thessalonians 2:3, Hebrews 10:38-39, 2 Timothy 4:3-4). Another way that a saved person can in the end lose his salvation is if he wrongly employs his will to not help a Christian in need, without repentance (Matthew 25:41-46). Another way that a saved person can in the end lose his salvation is if he wrongly employs his will to not provide for his own family, without repentance (1 Timothy 5:8). Another way that a saved person can in the end lose his salvation is if he wrongly employs his will to commit the unforgivable sin, which is blaspheming the Holy Spirit (Mark 3:29). An example of blaspheming the Holy Spirit is saying that an act performed by the power of the Holy Spirit is performed by Satan (Mark 3:22-30). Another way that a saved person can in the end lose his salvation is if he wrongly employs his will to remove words from the text of the book of Revelation, and then publishes the altered text as if it were the original, without repentance (Revelation 22:19). A saved person can in the end be cut off the same as an unbeliever if he doesn't continue in God's goodness (Romans 11:20-22, Luke 12:45-46). A saved person can in the end have his name blotted out of the book of life if he doesn't overcome unto the end (Revelation 3:5, Revelation 2:26). Amen. But 2 Timothy 2:13 means that if saved people come to believe not (2 Timothy 4:3-4, 1 Timothy 4:1, Luke 8:13, Matthew 13:21), if they come to commit apostasy (2 Thessalonians 2:3), it doesn't affect God's faithfulness to himself, for he can't deny himself. But he will deny saved people who commit apostasy (2 Timothy 2:12), to the ultimate loss of their salvation (Hebrews 6:4-8, John 15:6, Mark 8:35-38, Matthew 24:9-13, Hebrews 10:38-39, Colossians 1:23, Hebrews 3:6,14). Amen. But saved people retaining their salvation will be ultimately conditional on their continued belief (John 15:6, Colossians 1:23, Hebrews 3:6,14), their continued good works and obedience (John 15:2a, Romans 2:6-8, Hebrews 5:9), and their continued repentance from every sin that they might commit (Matthew 24:48-51, Hebrews 10:26-29, 1 Corinthians 9:27). Also it's only if saved people perfectly love God that they won't misbehave (1 John 5:3, John 14:21-24), and so won't have to fear any impending punishment from God for their misbehavior. But if they become so wicked that they lose their fear of God (Romans 3:18), and so continue to misbehave without any repentance, they should have the ultimate fear of losing their salvation at the judgment of the church (2 Corinthians 5:10-11, Psalms 50:4-5, cf. Mark 13:27), at the second coming, because of unrepentant sin (Matthew 24:48-51, Hebrews 10:26-29, 1 Corinthians 9:27), or because of unrepentant laziness (Matthew 25:26,30, John 15:2a, Romans 2:6-8), or because of apostasy (Mark 8:35-38, Hebrews 6:4-8, 2 Timothy 2:12). That's why saved people know the "terror" of the coming judgment of the church (2 Corinthians 5:10-11), why they must remain in fear of being cut off the same as unbelievers if they don't continue in God's goodness (Romans 11:20-22, Luke 12:45-46), why they must be careful to work out their own ultimate salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12, 1 Peter 1:17, Romans 2:6-8). Amen. Jesus/God leads saved people in the paths of righteousness (Psalms 23:3). But he doesn't take away their free will, turning them into robots, or into macabre flesh puppets, mere marionettes whose strings God pulls to make them dance across the stage. Thank God that, instead, he leaves all saved people as his real children with free wills. And because he leaves them with free wills, they themselves have to choose each and every day for the rest of their lives to deny themselves, to take up their crosses themselves, and to continue to follow Jesus (Luke 9:23) unto the end. But there's no assurance that they will choose to do that (Luke 8:13, Matthew 24:48-51, Matthew 25:26,30). Amen. But Psalms 106:8 doesn't say that salvation can't in the end be lost (Psalms 106:13-26, Jude 1:5). Amen. But only the past sins of saved people are forgiven (Romans 3:25), as in only those sins which have been repented from and confessed to God (1 John 1:9). Jesus' sacrificial blood doesn't remit unrepentant sin (Hebrews 10:26-29). So saved people can in the end lose their salvation if they wrongly employ their will to commit sin without repentance (Matthew 24:48-51, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 2 Peter 2:20-22). Amen. But Galatians 5:18 has a conditional "if" attached to it, because the Holy Spirit doesn't take away the free will of saved people (1 Thessalonians 5:19). They can wrongly employ their will to commit sin without repentance, to the ultimate loss of their salvation (Galatians 5:19-21, Romans 8:13, Hebrews 10:26-29, 1 Corinthians 9:27). Amen. Saved people need to gather together and exhort each other every day so that no saved person will fall into any unrepentant sin (Hebrews 3:13, Hebrews 10:25-29). For any unrepentant sin will ultimately result in the loss of salvation (Hebrews 10:26-29, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, James 5:19-20). Amen. But God isn't willing to take away the free will of saved people. So even after they've been cleansed from their past sins by their faith in Christ's sacrificial blood (Romans 3:25) and their repentance and confession to God (1 John 1:9), they can still subsequently wrongly employ their will to return back to committing their old sins again without repentance, so that their ultimate fate will be worse than if they'd never been saved at all (2 Peter 2:20-22, Hebrews 10:26-29). Awesome post bro. I looked up every scripture feeding on them. These are the scriptures that OSAS completely avoid. I am not sure how an honest truth-seeking person can read those scriptures and still believe and preach/teach the OSAS doctrine unless they are completely blind to the truth or else they enjoy being deceived or deceiving others.. Yes those scriptures are hard-hitting but the truth is never easy to receive. Thanks again, Jedi
  23. I like this version: Rom 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Rom 12:7: If your gift is serving, then devote yourself to serving. If it is teaching, devote yourself to teaching. Rom 12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. Seems like meaning got lost and confused in the KJV translation.
  24. I found this article on George's website and thought it was funny and pretty accurate description of the liberal media: A Harley biker is riding by the zoo in Washington, DC when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion
  25. Good theory but......... Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
