  1. Amen bro. I agree. I hear so many people harp on incorrect doctrines yet they wink at sin. Like Jesus said "you strain gnats yet you swallow camels" Whats more important doctrine or godly living? Legalism or Mercy and Love? Scarcifice or obedience?
  2. Cant say I have....
  3. My point? Instead of spending too much time in pursuit of "counterfeit prophets" and false leaders, we should get to know the Real Thing, Jesus. If we know Him intimately, and recognize His voice... we will automatically detect a fraud when they cross our path. It's like with my best friend, I know his voice. I know the things he would say. If someone were to try to imitate him, I would know right away because I know his voice. Like the secret service, we need to study and know what is real and pay attention. Look for differences, not similarities. Our enemy (satan) is a deceiver and knows how to tweak the truth. Be alert...but let's put more attention to the real thing "My sheep hear My voice, I know them and they follow Me." ~ Jesus Christ (John 10:27) I could not agree more.... Yes, we should be aware of false prophets but we are so busy being suspicious of every one that it has turned into a fault finding ministry and many lives have been destroyed by this so called ministry and individuals. This is no different then what the Pharisees were doing to Jesus; they were constantly looking look for faults and trying their best to trap him into saying things so that could accuse him and they would twist things he said just to us it against him. These Pharisees were the Heresy Hunters of Jesus day. The were constantly calling Jesus a blasphemer, false prophet, and a child of Beelzebub. I see this same spirit in todays Church. Remember what Jesus said if they persecuted me then they will also prosecute you in the same manor. Jesus was being persecuted by Church goers and bible readers. He was being persecuted by the church of his day. Its no different today. Basically Jesus is saying if they (religious people) persecuted me, being that I am a perfect man than how much more are they going to persecute you (my disciples) who are imperfect. God bless,
  4. Awesome!!!!
  5. Yeah fox's book of martyrs is definitely at my top of the list of inspired books. Another book that I find fully inspiring is "Pilgrims Progress". This is an aw some classic Christian book that every Christian should own. Its about a mans journey to find salvation and deliverance and his life struggles beyond the cross to the Promised Land. Written by a man who spent a good majority of his life in prison for preaching Christ. God bless,
  6. I think I know what your talking about? Types? Such as Moses being a type or shadow of Christ or Israel being a type or shadow of the Church or Old Testament being type and shadow of the New Eternal Covenant. Every thing that happened in the Old Testament are types and shadows of the New Covenant that God has established. Old Testament was an instrument to teach us about the New Eternal Covenant. God bless,
  7. Yeah I have never heard of The City of God but I will sure be looking for it. Is this an audio CD or Book? God Bless,
  8. Hi, Have any of you had the chance to read "The Pilgrims Progress". I am in the process of reading it now. I cant believe I have been a Christian for 12yrs and have not had the opportunity to read such a God inspired book. To those that have no clue about this book. Its a timeless Christian classic book. Many have called it the second greatest book compared to the bible. It was written by a man (John Bunyan) that was imprisoned for a good majority of his life for preaching Christ. He wrote this book while in prison based on a dream that came from God. The book is about a Man's journey through life to find salvation and his struggles beyond the cross to the Promised land. If you have not had the chance to read it I would urge you to consider. John Bunyan was one of the Reformers of the Early Church so he uses old English. So I recommend reading this book in modern English. For those who have read the book please share your thoughts about it. Thanks and God bless,
  9. Today I had the privilege to listen to Fred Market the Director of International YWAM Missions. YWAM is the largest Evangelical international mission's related organization. They are in virtually every country of the world. He stated that Islam is still the second fastest growing religion in the world despite what the media is telling you and that Islam is growing at a rate of 2.2 percent compared to Christianity 7 percent growth rate per year. He said Islam growth rate has been miscalculated because the Census are basing the Islams growth rate on birth rates instead of conversion rates. Meaning the raters are assuming that a person born in a Muslim dominated society are of Islam. They are not considering that fact of there are underground Church's and there are large number of Muslim converts to Christianity every day. Census's are gathering their information from Muslim government officials that are suppressing Christianity and falsifying its growth rate in their country. He also stated that the largest growth rate of Christianity around the world is happening today in our life time. Do we really believe that the god of Islam is greater then our God? What a Joke
  10. God had to do something to bring life back into perspective. So He invented something called "grace". Grace was a way back to the basics. It was a commodity that exercised itself in proportion to a person's weakness, rather than his strength. It only began to function when man couldn't. It only did what man couldn't do. It only worked when man knew he was without strength. The stronger a person thought themselves to be, the less grace they were able to receive, and the more they thought they deserved it, the less they would be able to appropriate it. When you ask God for His grace to pour through you, is that what you mean? Are you willing, should God desire to use the canvas of your life to paint such a portrait, to become that weak, so He can show Himself that strong? Or do you have preconceived limits to which you plan to hold God? That's your privilege. You can draw the lines anywhere you choose. The only problem is: When you do, to that degree, you limit the grace of God. Weakness. God has many ways to provide it. Grace. God has one primary requirement: weakness. So we go full circle. And as we begin our journey, seeking God's grace to flow through us and back into a needy world, may we never, ever forget: to ask for grace, is to ask God to make us weak. To ask God to make us weak is to ask Him to take from us anything and everything we glory in. God has been giving me a tiny glimpse of grace by allowing things to come into my life that have caused me to be weaker, and thus more dependent. My first response was to cry out to God for Him to remove the problems and restore my strength. Then He spoke so tenderly through His word: "But, child, my grace is sufficient for you. How can you teach others of the blessing of weakness if you cry out for deliverance when I make you weak? Sit still. Let Me be your strength." How faithful He has been. Oh, beloved, could you be there today? Have life's circumstances descended on you like an ominous cloud and taken away your strength? Do you feel weary and defeated from it all? Beloved, even the youths faint and are weary and the young men shall utterly fall. But they that wait upon the Lord (appropriating His enabling power) shall mount up with wings as eagles.... How can that be? It is called grace. It is God waiting to do supernaturally what you cannot do naturally. You have two choices: You can chafe at your weakness and cry out to be delivered, or you can quietly submit to the Master Artist as He paints on the canvas of your life a brand new, much deeper image of Himself. What will you ask Him for? Deliverance from the storms? Or Grace through the storms? You decide. The choice is yours. Oh, one last thing. There is a good chance that He will give you what you ask for. 1349a, The Grace of Weakness, Copyright
  11. ...sure but you must understand that Paul, Peter, John, and Jude had no clue that one day that their letters would some day be held to the same degree of as the Torah and Prophets much less be grouped together in one book called the Holy Bible. This didnt come about till many years later. God bless,
  12. If the pre-tribulation rapture is the greatest endtime event then why didnt Jesus ever mention it in the sequence of events of the Last Days? Mat. 24/ Mark 13/ Luke 21
  13. Compare the The Rider of the White Horse to what Jesus taught: ==================== First Seal Rev. 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Olivet Discourse Matt 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.... 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Second Seal 6:3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. Olivet Discourse Matt. 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: ... Third Seal 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Olivet Discourse Matt 24:7 ... and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Fourth Seal 6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. Olivet Discourse Matt 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Fifth Seal 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? Olivet Discourse Matt 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.... 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Sixth Seal 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Olivet Discourse Matt 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Seventh Seal 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. [The Kingdom has come to earth] Olivet Discourse Luke 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. The clear parallel between the seals and the Olivet Discourse carries great weight. In my opinion, the sixth seal is conclusive proof that Revelation contains more than one chronology. Therefore, the seven seals are a description of the entire tribulation, ending with Christ's Kingdom. The following comparison demonstrates that the sixth seal occurs in conjunction with the battle of Armageddon. Notice the many parallels of the sixth seal to other passages. 1. Great earthquake, every mountain and island moved out of their places, [Rev. 6:12,14]. a. At the seventh vial, "...there was a great earthquake, ... and every island fled away, and the mountains were not found." [Rev. 16:18,20] b. Isa. 2:19,22, and Isa 13:13 describe this great earthquake when the "Day of the Lord" comes. 2. Sun and moon darkened, Rev. 6:12. a. Jesus said this will occur "immediately after the tribulation." [Matt. 24:29]. b. Joel places this sign before the Day of the Lord, [Joel 2:31]. c. The sign occurs at the time of the battle of Armageddon, and Christ begins to reign immediately thereafter. [Joel 3:9-18] d. Isaiah connects this sign with the coming of the Day of the Lord and the battle of Armageddon. [isaiah 13:3-13]. 3. There will be a meteor shower; "even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind." a. Again this is a direct reference to the coming of the Day of the Lord in Isaiah 34:4 which says of the stars: "their host shall fall down, as a leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree." b. Jesus also mentioned this in Matt. 24:29, "immediately after the tribulation...the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken." c. At the seventh vial there is also this meteor shower, [Rev. 16:21]. 4. "The heavens departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;" [Rev. 6:14]. This is a direct quote from Isaiah 34:4, where the context clearly has the battle of Armageddon on the Day of the Lord in view. 5. The kings and mighty men hide in the caves and rocks, [Rev. 6:15,16]. This comes from Isaiah's description of the Day of the Lord. Isaiah 2 10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty. 11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of man shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. 12 For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud.... 19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. 6. "The great day of His wrath is come," [Rev. 6:17]. This is also a direct reference to Isaiah's description of the coming of the Day of the Lord, [isaiah 13:9 & 34:8]. http//www.lasttrumpet.com So If you compare scripture with scripture the White Horse represents deception: False prophets and Deceivers and Anti-Christs. God Bless,
  14. THE BATTLE IS NOT YOURS Thousands and thousands of years ago, God's people prepared a test; As the Ammonites and the Moabites Decended; destruction their quest. But Jehoshophat saw the problem, And we read from God's precious Word That Jehoshophat prepared a fast, And prepared to seek the Lord. And all the people, young and old Gathered together that day And humbled themselves before the Lord, As Jehoshophat started to pray. He lifted his voice in remembrance, Recalling the days of 'ore; And promised that God would keep His Word As always He'd done before. And finally, in utter abandonment. He spoke these words so true: "We have no might against them, Lord, Nor know we what to do!" Then, from the very lips of God, There came these words sublime: "Be not afraid, beloved, The battle's not yours; it's Mine!" "No need to fight, beloved, Here is all you need to do: Just take your place; stand still, and see Your God will fight for you." So they bowed their heads and worshipped, And appointed men to sing; Not to fight God's battles, But let His praises ring. "Here comes the enemy"; they cried; "Let ever voice be raised!" God's people started to shout and sing, And lifted their hearts in praise. And when their lips in praises sang Lo, then, the job was done. For God, at the sound of their voices, fought And at once, the battle was won. Now what about you, dear Christian, In your heart have you seen the light? Have you yet come to understand, The battle's not yours to fight? That all your precious Jesus Is longing for you to do, Is to set yourself, stand still, and see That he can live through you. The battle's not ours--- Oh, shout it! The battle's not ours to win. The battle belongs to Jesus, And Jesus will reign from within. Acknowledge you cannot do it, And begin to sing and to praise, And God will begin to fight for you As you but acknowledge His ways. No, the battle's not ours, beloved The battle belongs to the Son The battle's not ours; but the victory's ours; And the victory's already won!!!! 15. Do you agree that there is more then one type of baptism spoken of in the bible?
  16. Who are they gonna start marketing to non-christians? Intergrity is Christian organization that makes Christian praise and worship music. Are you saying that messianic music is not Christian?
  17. What do you mean by Original sons? God has no original sons but Christ and those that are in him. Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: If you are referring to Israel then they are not the Sons of God but the Children of Jacob/Israel. No one is a Child of God unless they are born of the Spirit of God. God does not have grandchildren or unoriginal sons. God bless,
  18. I was a part of a group of street Evangelist that would do stuff like that . They made up a survey form that asked questions such as: Do you believe there is a God? What is your religion? Who do you believe God is? Do you believe in an afterlife? Do you believe in a hell and or heaven? What do you think sin is? What does it take to please God? What is your definition of Salvation? Do you believe the bible is Gods message to us? What do you believe about Jesus of the bible? Can we contact you later for a follow up? LOL This would open all kind of doors of discussion about God and was a pretty effective way to witness to people. Sometimes you would talk to them about God other times you would just gather their information and then take it back and pray over it and then do a follow up on these people and witness to them. Most people loved getting surveyed about their beliefs. The information gathered would be valuable information to understanding and praying for your audience. well God bless,
