I hear that Gary Colemen is running for World Leader but dunno if he would make a good Anti-Christ or not. I heard he is a lil beast but who knows he is very charming and cute. He's got my vote.

I guess i never finished your answer. All three are talking about the same person God. God is a Spirit, He is also Jesus, and He is also the Father. They are all the same person not three differant people. If I could serparte my spirit from my body would that make me two differant people? NO because I am triune and are they are both me just as my soul and body are me? Even if I seperated all three spirit, soul and body then all three would all still be me. Not three differant persons or people but one. My Spirit, Soul and Body are one. hope this help

No there can only be one true God
-
A good example of this in John 3:13 Joh 3:13 And no one has gone up into Heaven, except He having come down out of Heaven, the Son of Man who is in Heaven. Jesus speaking said he was in heaven and on earth at the same time according to this scripture. Jesus is God in the Flesh

God is omnipresent. He can be in heaven and in the flesh at the same time.

God is not three persons but one person. Just as my Spirit Soul and Body make up one me. The Spirit, The Father and The Son make up one God. We are created in the image and likeness of God. To understand the trinity all we have to do is understand how God made us like himself. Yes...Jesus is God in the flesh and in Christ dwells the Father and the Spirit. Col 2:9 For in him (Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. God is a triune but he is not thee persons or three people or three personalities but one. The Father Son and Spirit are all the same person.

Desire to discuss spiritual gifts with someone...
Jedi4Yahweh replied to carlos123's topic in Theology
Oops sorry... Yeah you can expect a heated debate about Spiritual Gifts being for today. There are many "anti-spiritual gift" people in any christian forum. I think you will have to live in complete state of denial and disbelieve to think that God did not intended for believers to have Spiritual Gifts today. By Spiritual Gifts I mean the ones Paul listed in 1 Cor. 12 Gifts of Knowlege and Wisdom Gifts of Healing Gift of Miracles Gift of Tongues and Interpretaion Prophecy Gift of Faith Gift of Discerment And these gifts are not for personal edification but for building up the Church. God has gifted beleivers with these gifts. To say that we do not need these gifts today is to say that the Church does not need edification. -
Desire to discuss spiritual gifts with someone...
Jedi4Yahweh replied to carlos123's topic in Theology
Ok I am open for discussion. I also believe that the Gifts of the Spirit are for today. You will find through out the book of acts many years after the day of Penticost that people were still operating in the gifts. And the Gifts of the Spirit were not just limited to the Apostles but to all believers jew and gentiles. You will find that nowhere in the bible where the gift ever ceased. Actually Paul said we are not to forbid the gifts of the Spirit but we should seek and desire them. Jesus siad the these signs will follow believers not just certain believers. I also believe that in the baptism in the Spirit. I do believe all true Christians have the Spirit of Christ but not all Christians have been baptised in the Spirit. Big Differance. Not all Christians have been filled with the Spirit or empowered by the Spirit to become witnesses. Well let me know what exactly you would like to discuss first. -
Which Bible is the best for a beginner?
Jedi4Yahweh replied to Jacqueline's topic in General Discussion
I also like the NLT for reading. But I do not recommend using this for bible studies because its not a word for word translation. -
Hi, God does have a soul as quoted from the old testement in Isaiah. Isa 42:1 Behold my servant whom I uphold, mine elect in whom my soul delighteth! I will put my Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the nations. And we all know that God has a body which is Christ. So God has a Spirit, Soul, and a Body just as we are created in his likeness and image. God is not three individuals but one.

Which Bible is the best for a beginner?

Depends on how old they are and what language they speak. I have many differant english, greek, and hebrew bibles and many differant translations. I think a good english bible is the NASV. I also like the NKJV because it avoids all the old english jargon such as thou, ye, and thus. If you do a little internet research you will find that NASV is one on the most accurate english translations of the bible. I like to read and study differant translation and I also like to refer back to the orginal greek or hebrew for word studies by doing this it will shed more light on a scripture because translations can be a little off some times. God bless. -
Hi, I dont see God as three individuals as most christians tend to do. The bible says that God created man in his own image and likness. Therefore we are created like God. I dont view my own self as three individuals even thought I do have a Spirit, Soul and a Body just as God has a Spirit, Soul and Body which makes up one individual. 1Th 5:23 Now the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly: and your whole spirit, and soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is how I view God. Spirit = Holy Spirit Soul = Father Body= Jesus These three make up one God not three indiviuals are three persons but one person. Just as my Spirit, Soul and Body make up one me not three of me. Remeber we are created in the image and likeness of God and God is one just as my spirit soul and body make up one me. Maybe this scripture will help you out, if your not able to swallow this. Isa 42:1 Behold my servant (Body/Jesus) whom I uphold, mine elect in whom my soul (Father) delighteth! I will put my Spirit (Holy Spirit) upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the nations. God is a triune being but not a three person being. Jesus is the of embodiment of God. In Jesus dwelles the fullness of God. Jesus has a Spirit, a Soul and a Body. God does not have three Spirits three Souls or Three Bodies but one. Col 2:9 For in him (Jesus) dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily; God bless,

Thanks Botz...so what do you personally consider to be the 5 most essential doctrines of Christianity. List in order of importance.
-
Hi, I was just curious to what every ones opinion as to what you believe (not your church or denomination) that are essential that a Christian must believe. Please list only the top five essentials and list them in-order of importance and try to stay on topic. --------------------------------- I will go first: 1) That Jesus is the promised Messiah and Son of God and Lord. 2) That Jesus came and died for our sins and rose again and now lives forever. 3) Must believe there is only one true God. 4) Must believe that bible is God's written word and is true. 5) Must believe that Jesus will one day return to judge the living and the dead some unto eteranl life others unto eternal damnation. God bless,

Wooohooo that was awsome. That gave me chills reading it. God bless you or who ever wrote that.

This is where I see a problem with Internet Church. Paying 10% of your working money to an individual or a few individuals that run a lil web site that can be run for virtually nothing. I can see many many money scams coming from this idea. I have no problem with having a Christian web site where Christians can meet and fellowship but when they start charging a fee just to have a chat and read or listien to a audio sermon is robbery. Its using the gospel as a means of material gain which is robbing God.

Think it will happen when we all least expect it. So I think all your answers are wrong. LOL

Good response Jews are blessed in this since that God promise to restore Irael but like you said in their current state they are no more blessed then any other sinner. But like Paul said a true Jew is one born of faith not of flesh. The true children of Abraham are those of faith not of flesh. God Bless,

I like Jimmy, he's commited his life to Christ, does the best with what he's got. I've almost decided to vote for Bush, just to protect the unborn, but it seems our liberal courts won't even allow that to happen, so I'm seriously considering not voting at all. I'm so sick of people telling me I have to vote. It seems obvious both candidates are a little slimey and I don't want to vote for slime. I'm glad Bush loves Jesus, it's to bad Jesus isn't our leader in this war, like he was for the Hebrews. ~ Martin Non-votes count too...but not in your favor.
