I see. Looks like he was trying to take off and chickened out and when he landed back on that really small limb he missed and pretty much just tumbled out of the tree. -
Birds and Animals · During one tense bullfight, matador Alvaro Munero did the unthinkable. As the crowd cheered, wanting the next dramatic move, he abruptly stepped away from the bull, walked to the edge of the arena, and sat down. The roaring crowd fell into stunned silence. In a post-interview that came from his heart, Alvaro shared this life-altering moment that led to his decision: "In one moment I forgot the existence of the horns. All I could see was his eyes, standing there, not with rage but with something much deeper-innocence. He was not attacking me; he was just looking at me, pleading wordlessly for his life. That is when it came into my mind that this isn't an animal I am fighting; this is a living thing that wanted to live as much as I did.". His eyes had that purity that only animals possess, and in them, I saw that undeniable truth. I felt an overwhelming surge of guilt; it was as if I had become the most heartless creature alive. I couldn't continue. I dropped my sword, left the arena, and made a promise to myself: I would no longer fight bulls; I would fight against a world which makes a game out of the torture of others for amusement. The story of Alvaro Munero is a rare, powerful look into the transformative force of compassion, even in the most unlikely of places. It is a reminder that one moment of connection can change a life, inspire a new purpose.__https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/te2/1/16/270d.png

This sounds like a dictator to me. Like I said, "when he comes back."
-
When Jesus returns, he will be a sovereign dictator for a 1,000 years. After he has put all enemies away, he will subject himself to the Father, and I don't think we can understand how things will be.

Does Romans chapter 8:28-30
other one replied to jacklyn's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
One would have to define what "saved" is to make any kind of judgment. This has been discussed many times and usually comes down to a person was never really saved in the first place. Jesus speaks of people who think they are saved who don't make it in the end, and he states that he never knew them. So probably a more important question would be who is saved and who does Jesus really know. -

The more Islam encroaches, the less safe any of us are. -
Lindsey should be put in prison.

They said this last weekend's attack on Russia's nuclear bombers took 18 months to set up. That means it was the Biden CIA's doings and with Lindsay Graham's visits and somehow spent about a half million dollars on his last trip there. What is Putin to think?
-
Ukraine could not have done what they did last weekend without our help. We just involved that up to the level of nuclear war.

The Apostle Paul - why some want to dismiss him
other one replied to Vine Abider's topic in General Discussion
Pauls letters spend a lot of time showing the early churches what they were doing wrong. Some churches, who don't listen to his teachings, are still doing it wrong and that is why I think it's important. -

From their nest, the ground is a long way down. -
There is a add in this, but I think it as a whole is worth tolerating.

I'd have to look up the scripture, but somewhere it says that bad things happen to Israel and Jerusalem will be trodden underfoot till the times of the gentiles are over or fulfilled. That could be seen to have happened in 1967 when Israel took over Jerusalem.

I have the Bible on mp3 files and listen to it every day. When I was growing up and pre-teen, one of my neighbors recorded himself reading the entire bible. He said that way he could listen to it when he got old in his own voice. Personally, I prefer Alexander Scorbey, but I would think he learned a lot recording it himself.

Only through the power and workings of the Holy Spirit. That's the authority even of a believer. -

I can tell you from personal experience that they are an excellent introduction to the Demonic forces running rampant across the world today. I would not recommend getting involved with it, largely because we as humans have no power or authority among the spirit world, and unless one is filled with the Holy Spirit opens him/herself up to things they can not control. Maybe there be some that the Spirit needs to educate for the help of others who have foolishly wandered into that realm, but if not driven by the Holy Spirit I'd tell others to stay very clear from it's knowledge. -
I have always made it a rule at our house to have two good hard copy Bibles. They would be very difficult to change when AI takes over. As for planning on growing more food, I'm not sure if that will help. I don't think Christians will be tolerated at all when the full thing takes over. At least as long as Satan roams around. There are always humans to carry out his will, and I would think ultimately AI will also. No, the best thing we will be doing from my personal point of view is to die with grace.
