How do you witness to others? what is appropriate or not? when is it right or wrong to do? where is ok to share? how do you know when to share? what do you do if people get upset with your sharing?

Although Bible college is nice and helpful in developing your Biblical knowledge it is not always necessary if God has given you the natural ability to minister to others. Two TV evanglist that I'm aware of did not have Bible college they just started sharing what they knew about the Bible and did their best to relate to others. Those pastors if you wish to call them that are Joel Osteen and Joyce Myers. May God bless you in your journey to become a pastor because it is not path easily traveled.

WellI was watching one of my favorite TV evanglist and they went out into the streets with a video camera to see how many people knew the 10 commandments. The avarage person could only name about 5 of them. Do I know if your looking I don't its a trust thing between me them and God. can I say them all I'm not sure if I do I know its not in order. 1. When it comes to worship music. I have to spin CD's or DVD's of praise music. What I like to do if the spirit is not moving me is to find out what the sermon topic is about and try to find songs that relate to the sermon. If the sermon and the songs don't match than I try to see if there is something special about the month. April is kind of easy to pick out songs that deal with the Easter Story of the last days and resurrection of Christ. December is pretty easy to figure out too. ITs the months in between that are little harder. But there is something you can probably find out about each month. Taking request is always good. But when ask for request ask why they want that song and maybe you can find a new theme. For example it might be someones birthday, to honor someones death, to honor marriage, to honor the military, or because these are songs that make me happy and feel like dancing. Maybe have a theme day with the music, this Sunday we are gonna sing good ole southern gospel songs, modern songs, songs that are scriptural based, songs about communion, songs about the cross, songs about heaven, read the history of certian songs and sing them.... just a few ideas to keep it fresh even if the holy spirit does not move you. Good singing

How do Christians Have FUN? If any activity takes more than two hours we have food involved some how some way. game nights- board games, ping pong, volleyball, basketball, video games, etc... movie nights bowling rollerskating/ ice skating progressive dinners - having a 3 course meal but each part of the meal is at someones house Bingo night sight seeing day trips if possible small group Bible studies VBS can you think of other ways we Christians have fun?

Day light savings time this weekend! March 11 at 2AM change your clocks forward one hour. This means you loose an hour of sleep this Sunday. So either go to the late service or do like normal and sleep during the sermon

well my understanding the average stay for a pastor is 6-8 years at one church. Ussaly if its less than that there is ussaly something wrong with pastor or the church in my experince. some other ways to get rid of a pastor or the pastor to get rid of you is gossip. I knew a pastor that his family had to leave because his wife was the secretary and the church did not want the secretary to date the pastor although they were married. Go Figure?
