  1. http://technology.newscientist.com/channel...rol-freaks.html F YOU see a soldier in action waving a Nintendo Wii remote-control unit with one hand and holding an Apple iPhone in the other, don't assume they're slacking off. Soldiers may soon be using such devices to interact with their robotic assistants. The "Wiimote" control system allows game players to direct on-screen action using a wireless wand that detects acceleration in three dimensions. It has already found some unexpected uses, such as manipulating ultrasound images and monitoring movement deficiencies in people with Parkinson's disease (New Scientist, 16 February, p 26). Now David Bruemmer and Douglas Few, both engineers at the US Department of Energy's Idaho National Lab in Idaho Falls, have modified a military robot so that it can be controlled by the Wiimote. "Using the 'Wiimote' to intuitively control the robot makes sense" Packbot, made by iRobot in Burlington, Massachusetts, disposes of bombs, sniffs out explosives and checks for landmines for US soldiers. It is 70 centimetres long, and moves on wheels or tracks. Some even have machine guns attached, although these are yet to be used in battle (see "Make robots, not war"). Packbot is capable of some autonomous tasks, but is usually remote-controlled by a "joypad" similar to the controller used with most video games consoles, or a traditional joystick. The joypad consists of two groups of thumb-activated buttons, one for steering and the other for speed control. The problem with the joypad is that it takes a lot of concentration and can monopolise the attention of the soldier using it. Any information the robot gathers is beamed back and presented on a laptop display, but the soldier can be so occupied with the robot's controls that they can easily miss this, says Bruemmer. "Our tests show 90 per cent of the operator's workload goes into driving the robot rather than keeping an eye on the sensor data." The Wiimote is far more intuitive because movements of the hand directly translate into movements of the robot. Bruemmer says it should allow soldiers to control the robots more instinctively, freeing them up to pay closer attention to the incoming sensor data. "It's awesome," Few says, although they have yet to ask the soldiers themselves what they think. Bruemmer and Few have also written software that sends a signal to the Wiimote when the robot has detected something of special interest - somebody trapped in a building, say - activating the Wiimote's built-in vibration feedback. "Using the Wiimote to control various aspects of the robot makes a lot of sense," says Colin Angle of iRobot.he pair also plan to harness the iPhone for military use. As an alternative to lugging a laptop around, Few and Bruemmer plan to modify the Packbot to transmit footage compatible with the palm-sized iPhone. Its touch screen should also allow soldiers to manipulate the video captured by the robot more intuitively. The team will also be adding Wiimote control to the military Talon robots, made by Foster-Miller of Waltham, Massachusetts, but it could be applied to other types. "When trying to envision controlling a future domestic robot, I don't picture sitting down to my PC to instruct it to fetch me something," says Bruemmer.
  2. I am suprised no one has bothered to respond correctly to a number of questions raised in this thread regarding why Leonardo painted the last supper the way he did. have any of you actully seen the original painting in situe? The paiting was commisioned by Da Vinci patron Duke Ludovico Sforza , it was to be painted on the back wall of a dinning hall at Santa Maria delle Grazie Milan, Italy. It was common in those days to have a picture of the last supper over looking everyone as they sat and ate thier meals. Da Vinci being a genius and one of the best artists ever in the world, went one better and came up with something that was a lot better than anything that existed. The painting measures 15x29 feet or 4.6x8.8 meters, it was painted rather low down on the wall and stretched the whole width of the room. The walls in the painting were in same perspective and styling as the rest of the room, as in the side panels in the pictures were copies of panelling that existed at the time, so when you went in, it looked as if the room was 3 times as long, a wonderful piece of optical illusion painting The table in the picture was arranged like a top table was all through history, Lords of Manor would have had a banqueting feast with all their staff and Christmas for example, the family of house would have sat along one side of a long table that was raised up on a platform over looking the lower tables where the staff and other guests would sit in normal fashion. Leonardo
  3. I was prompted to pick up bible and thumb through it, after a couple of turns my eyes fell upon this .. and i can not turn away from it. I suggest you read this passage. 1 John 3:11-24 I have posted below. The problem you have is a need to be told you are right. It is a destructive thought process that has been put into place by Satan to create a division between your unity, any rift within a marriage is heartbreaking for God, which is part of satans plans isnt it. Yes you maybe 100% correct and have every worldy right to be told you are right and your husband admit he is wrong. But we are not of the world are we. God knows you are right, if you are right, God knows the truth, but is not really bothered about it, all God sees is your anger and hate towards the person who loves you. Your husband may not show love, but deep down even if its buried far from sight, he does. Why is it so important to be told you are right? It is possible that deep down he knows this, but by simply demanding to be told that you are right you are demanding for your husband to acknowledge that you are superior to him, you are challenging his God given right to authority over you, He simply walks away from the situation, knowing full well that any more provocation from you can cause even more problems and possibly violent reaction. This man is superior may seem sexist, but its just a natural order of things as that is how God designed humands to be, so by rising up and stamping your superiorty and demanding he bows to your authority you are going against the order of things. Just a thought. As I said in my previous post, to be submissive is correct , but you need to be completlly without any hate bad thoughts or bitterness towards each other before it can work. You need to sit down and think how this started, just spend time with god in prayer and find the original thoughts that Satan put into your mind and with Gods help remove them. Then you should be able to move on to a reconciliation, I have no idea how much you argue, or what bad feelings there are, but there is somthing not right and again I stress over next few weeks you need to talk to someone professionally about this. It can be just you on your own or first meeting as a couple etc. but you really do need to talk to pepople, otherwise it will just be like a snowball that rolls onwards gettgin bigger Satan knows your chinks and is obvisouly taking delight in what he has done to you now, so do not allow him any more satisfaction or to allow it happen again, find the problem and get it sorted. Easier said than done, but then that is what our churches and ministers are for! Anyway It is 4am and i need sleep God bless and I pray that you do find peace and you restore a loving happy relationship pretty sooN! 1Jn 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 1Jn 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. 1Jn 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. 1Jn 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 1Jn 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 1Jn 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1Jn 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 1Jn 3:19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 1Jn 3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 1Jn 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
  4. You obey his wishes to keep out of his sight. After he has cooled down and emerged then you apologize for the argument. I do not care what the argument was about , normallly when things get this bad it is often trival matters that started, quite often neither person remembers what started the arguement in first place. To be at this point you do need to seek help from a Christian marriage guidance councilour .I asume your husband is Christian. depending on if he is or is not will have a bearing on how you progress. I beleive that a marriage should be as Paul states in Ephesians 5:22-33, . Most women baulk at this and put up shutters and dont want to know anything else as they never get past the Wives submit to your husbands part, thinking they are going be made into door mats. certainly it does not make things easy when your marriage is already suffering in various areas, so these need to be addressed and put right before you can progress with doing things the way Paul writes. I know a number of marriages that are amazingly blessed for doing things to scripture. Just remember that even if wives do have to submit, so the husbands have to work hard at protecting and caring and loving thier wives unconditionally and without any anger , bad thought or action against thier wife, just as Christ loves the Church. Submitting dose not mean door mat, you can still discuss things together and work as a partnership, which should be a 3 way God Husband and Wife, but at end of day if your husband says something or decides something you abide by it, if it is a stupid decision, pray to God to show him it is stupid, if you do things properly and bear the mistakes your husband makes then you will be blessed for it by God. when you do get into unconditional love working both ways submitting is then natural and you will hardly notice it. HOwever as i previously said you need to get the problems in your marriage addressed, it may not be big problems, but from small seeds.... Nip this and stop this before it takes root too much, a small weeds roots is easier to pull out than 100 foot tall tree roots. DO not allow satan to destroy another marriage.
  5. So what is a generation, when children grow up and become adults maybe, we can spot differnt generations within a family group, greatgrandparents, grandparents, parents , children Some families may have all married and had children young, using these 4 generations for 2 families we can see how quickly we loose consistency across a short period of time. 4 friends all aged 18 were married at the same time, these 2 couples are the grandparents of family A and B. Family A all had children aged around 20 years old. , where as Family B all had children aged 35. Family A has the grandparents aged 60 years old when thier grandchildren are born, where as it will be another 45 years before family B sees their grandchildren born assuming they are still alive at 105 years old. It is easy to see family generations and calcuate the average age gap, however t applied across a whole nation it is more difficult to calcualte what a generation is. depending on the field of science or which period of time you are in, people lived longer and shorter in different centuries, so this has to be considered, the general age gap is around 20-35 years. It is impossible to accurate count x number of generations into the future and give an almost exact year. Using this for Biblical and ISraelite lineage to predict CHrists return is wrong and flawed, CHrist tells us only He knows the time when he comes, Anyway the following is interesting read and taken from http://www.genetic-genealogy.co.uk/Toc115570142.html There is more on the website to read , but most of it is posted below. The generation interval for a family is defined as the average age of the parents when the children were born. This is worked out for each parent separately and the mean is then taken of these two figures. e.g. If the father's age at each of the births was 22.3, 24.4, 26.7 and 28.4 years, and the mother's age was 20.1, 22.2, 24.5 and 26.2 years, then the father's generation interval is 25.45 years, the mother's is 23.25 years and the overall average is 24.35 years. The average generation interval for a whole population at any time is the weighted average of these family figures. Family generation intervals for each family can be calculated if enough information is available. The average generation interval is usually about 30 years. The actual generation intervals and their mean for a direct line refers only to those nominated individuals in the direct line, not the whole family. The generation interval is the age of the parent when the relevent child is born. This is obtained by subtracting the birth date of the parent from that of the child in each case. To find the average generation interval for a direct line, it is not necessary to know the date of birth of every member of the line, just the dates for the first and last members. For example, in my own family, one of my ancestors, William Butterfield, was born in 1610 and is 10 generations back from me in the direct line. Since I was born in 1928, the time interval between the two birth dates is:- 1928

  8. Hospital bridles at horse in lift Hospital bridles at horse in lift Hawaiian hospital has restated its rules on pets after a man took a horse up in a lift in a bid to cheer up a sick relative with his favourite steed. Man and beast were stopped by security guards only after reaching the third floor, after apparently passing through the lobby unchallenged. The patient was allowed to see them but it turned out to be the wrong horse. A hospital spokeswoman said there was a visitation policy for dogs and cats, but not for horses. "We just hope people understand this is not a place for a horse," said Lani Yukimura at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. "It's a very dangerous thing. Our greatest concern is patient care." Security managed to remove the visitor and the horse with "just a few scuff marks", she added. According to the Star Bulletin newspaper, the man had arrived after staff at the front desk went home, and called from the lobby to announce his arrival. After he and the horse were escorted out, he put the animal in a trailer in the car park and left, the paper adds.
  9. Computer errors can wreck lives. Just imagine what the future holds if a number of ideas and proposals come into being. Reminds me of a the film Brazil, where a fly lands in a computer printer and changes the name from Buttle to Tuttle , the list is some kind of terrorist suspest list and as a result we later see in the film an innocent man being taken. How far away are we from where we simply accept the computer data and challenging it is not an option?
  10. Agreed. It is stories like this that show how fragile we can be , and how death can literally around the corner. A couple of pounds is a heavy weight to impact on your head, let alone 75, most likely killed her instantly so at least she probably did not suffer, but then pain experienced while dying is nothing compared to what awaits you in Hell. It is sad to think how many people are going to Hell.
  11. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7308839.stm Leaping stingray kills US woman A US woman on a boat off the Florida Keys has died after a stingray leaped up and struck her in the face. Judy Kay Zagorski was boating with her family in the Atlantic Ocean when the 75lb (34kg) spotted eagle ray hit her. The force of the blow knocked the 57-year-old over and her head struck the deck of the vessel, in what officials called a "bizarre incident". The stingray died in the impact. Mrs Zagorski, of Pigeon, Michigan, was pronounced dead in hospital. "It's just as freakish an accident as I have heard," wildlife official Jorge Pino told the Associated Press news agency. Mr Pino said she did not appear to have been pierced by any of the ray's barbs. The incident occurred near the town of Marathon in southern Florida. In September 2006, Australian TV naturalist Steve Irwin died when a stingray's barb punctured his heart as he filmed at Queensland's Great Barrier Reef. A month later, an 81-year-old Florida man was lucky to survive after a stingray landed in his boat and left a foot-long barb in his chest.

  13. I am suprised that the pickpocket was given 3 months in prison. No doubt it had something to do with who his victim was, anyone else and probably got off with a suspended sentence and community service. http://www.metro.co.uk/news/article.html?i...p;in_page_id=34 pickpocket made a big mistake when he robbed the justice minister... and then ran into a bus full of police officers. The dumb criminal mugged MP Bridget Prentice as she boarded a bus in south London. However, little did pickpocket Kenneth Cooper know that his target, the justice minister, had an off-duty detective standing behind her. Worse was yet to come. As he fled the scene, Cooper ran into a busload of police officers, who by sheer coincidence, happened to be on an exercise to ensure safer neighbourhoods. They joined the pursuit as Cooper ran into a shopping centre in Lewisham, where security guards also gave chase. The pickpocket later pleaded guilty to the theft of Ms Prentice's purse, and was sentenced to three months in prison.
  14. This is an update report on original sighting. You can see the video of the alleged gnome by going to the webpage. Gutter Tabloid story kind of makes this more of a joke than scary story. It is to me so obviously a person dressed up, if you look at the video you can see the "gnome" is quite some distance off. when you put things in to perspective this figure is normal human height. That is my thought anyway. It is interesting to see from the article how many people do beleive this and how many other sightings there have been, so either dozens of people are seeing things that are not there, paranioa from orignal sighting, or they are making it up to share in the fame. Of course they could be seeing genuine "gnomes" which we all would know to be denomic. It has been known for a demon to terrorize whole villages and put them under fear, such as manifesting themselves as leprechauns and other fairies (not all fairies are cute and have wings),this is what this gnome thing could be. any way read it, view the video and make your own mind up! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article937659.ece Call for Sherlock Gnomes COPS in a town plagued by sightings of a creepy 'gnome' have launched a full-scale investigation - after records showed locals have reported seeing the creature for DECADES. 16. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/7304452.stm A Newcastle couple have found a unique way of keeping their beloved dead pets close to their hearts - by having the dog hair made into woolly jumpers. Beth and Brian Willis lost their white Samoyed, called Kara, 12 years ago and Swedish Lapphund, Penny, in 2002. After seeing a picture of Princess Diana wearing a dog fur stole at Crufts, they collected thousands of dog hairs from brushes and carpets. The pair said the his and hers dog memorials were "warm and waterproof". Mr Willis, who worked for Pickfords Removals for 27 years, wears his doggy jumper into town every Saturday to do the weekly shop. The 73-year-old said: "They are extremely warm and pretty much waterproof. I've always got a sweat on by the time I get from the bus to the shops." Mother-of-three Mrs Willis first used the fur of Kara, to knit her husband's sweater in 1990. Mrs Willis, 71, said she had the idea after seeing a picture of Princess Diana wearing a dog fur stole at Crufts. She said: "Kara was a pedigree Samoyed. She was so posh, if she could have talked she'd not have spoken to the likes of us. "We found out from the breeders we got the pups from that it was possible to use their coat for clothes. "It is the most amazing stuff. It's like mohair but more lightweight and more soft, and the more you wash it, the more soft and fluffy it gets." Mrs Willis added: "People are surprised when they find out we're wearing dog wool clothes. Some think it's disgusting and ask how we can do it, but it seems very normal to us." Even now, Mrs Willis has enough hair left over to make a new jumper, and it has been sent to a friend in Derby to be spun.

  18. What do we do with it ? Learn of course. This Psalm is a prayer to God to deal with the enemies of the Psalmist, we assume could be David. We are in told to turn the other cheek. We are told quite clearly that any kind of revenge against our enemies is wrong, as Vengance is mine sayeth the Lord. Deu 32:35 To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. Yes GOd wishes to see every human "saved" but at the same time God will not tolerate his enemies and those who do wrong against his people. We see time and time in Bible how God is disgusted with any sin, anyone who rises up against God and h is people will suffer the full wrath of God, especially if the person or people involved do not undertake themselves to take any kind of revenge, be it verbal spreading hatred or physical. I have experienced this first hand myself. A number of times over past few years i have been attacked by number of my ex wife family members, I did nothing at all in form of gossiping, bad mouthing or taking any kind of revenge on them, God quickly dealt with them in his own way and brought upon them much suffering and anguish which mirrored the accusations and actions they made against me. We also see this when Israel is attacked by other nations, God has not allowed Israel to fall and the enemies of God have been wiped out and totally beaten and destroyed despite heavily out numbering the Jews. This is what we are essentially reading in Pslam 5, if you read further, verse 10 5:10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. David what you are suggesting is an old argument that is put up against those who oppose Christianity, most notably atheists. They revel in the so called inconstancy, hypocrisies and contradictions that they perceive to exist within the Bible, especially when they deal with Gods character. After all how can a God who declares he loves everyone in the next breath destroy them etc. God made us, God can do what he likes with us, I already explained how GOd hates sin and deals with people who attack Him and His people. People seem to forget we are at war with satan, what good is it if our commander in chief, God, sits back and does nothing and simply lets our enemies walk all over us and Israel? God is our shepherd, What use is a shepherd if he allows wolves to enter the flock every night and just take any sheep they like. pretty soon there would be no more sheep left, and those still remaining may flee and leave. So in short , God wishes all of us to be saved, God hates sin, but God is no push over or politically correct when it comes to dishing out punishment revenge and protecting his people. GOd may not like taking these lives or punishing , but then that is the persons problem not Gods, for they have rejected God and risen up against God.
  19. The interest in ghosts, mediumship and paranormal has been growing rapidly over the years, just look how many programmes on TV there are devoted to the subject, not to mention internet, A main stream charity is even doing a fund raising event where you spend a night in a haunted house etc. People want to beleive in an afterlife but they do not accept the truth, like we all do. It is Satans job to take many people as possible away from God and the truth. One way to do this is to fuel peoples imaginations about an afterlife that exists totally different from what really happens. having demons appear as apparitions and ghosts is one such way to do this. IN other cultures the demons can simply really appear as themselves or something hideous too do with the occult based belief systems. but thats another topic. So any ghost or strange apparition you see is going to be demonic, however to many people it will be the genuine soul of a dead person wondering around. Quite interstingly a large number of ghosts reportedly seen are of priests, monks and nuns etc. It is again a ploy of Satan to say to people well if you are seeing a ghost of a priest or monk then obviously what they believed in is false. Then of course once you get an interest in these dead people wondering around then you are going to want to try and communicate with them, this is were satan hopes you will start doing seance and go to mediums and get involved in spiritualism movement. "But mediums are frauds" I hear you saying, well yes that is true to some extent, but many are genuine. It is easy to do what skeptics call cold reading, many of these so called mediums who claim they can speak with the dead will use a number of tactics and probability to gain information from an audience and a person , such as saying "i am getting a name its like tim, jim, sim, tim, ted, fred " etc and sometimes they can real off dozens of names quickly and then someone in audience will say "oh my grandfather was called jack", quite often the medium has not even said this name. Then a lot of questions are asked by the fraud from which a detailed picture can be created of the dead person. However there are a number of mediums who are influenced and even possessed by demons. They dont have any power or gift , instead demons put thoughts into thier mind, basically the mediums demons talk to demons who turn up with the audience etc they give the mediums demons info , and in turn the demons put these thoughts in to the mediums head. However people fall for this hook line and sinker and get involved with something that is created by Satan, they will are lost to GOd simply because they thought their dear loved ones were trying to talk to them beyond the grave. We should not be scared of these things, we have the power over them in Christ. Once we understand and accept The Lord into our lives, it becomes glaringly obvious how Satan works and we can see through the lies, including knowing that Ghosts etc are demons in disguise.
  20. This is from Strongs on the word. From H8552; complete; usually (morally) pious; specifically gentle, dear: - coupled together, perfect, plain, undefiled, upright. Perfect is the wrong word to use in the translation, yes it maybe King James, but King James is not a perfect translation. I like the NIVs translation of Job 1 it is better,it is written as "This man was blamless and upright." Verse 1 is simply saying that Job was spiritually and morally upright. IT is not implying that Job was perfect, which is why translating this as "perfect" is probably wrong choice of word, as Job admits he is a sinner and is not perfect. God does not look at perfection differently. Only person to walk this earth who was Perfect was Christ. Everyone of us, even JOB comes a long way short of Gods definition of perfection. You have to realize that no one Bible gives a 100% accurate translation, sure the inaccuracies are very minor , this Job passage and other places where people are described as perfect is a good example. Take a look at the Strongs numbering and what the original actually means, see above, Sure , perfect can be used as a translation but it is not a very good substitute for the translation. There are some words in other languages that we have no words for in English and have to use whole sentances to convey what a single word means in another langauge! This is where getting yourself a couple of study Bibles is a good idea along with Strongs numbering etc, you can get Strongs on Esword, which saves a few pounds and time, Reading a couple of versions side by side with notes you can not really go wrong.
  21. Andrew, please tell me you're not serious! The police there can actually confiscate private property because you're being LOUD???? Yes i am serious. However it is not the police who ultimately have the power of confiscation. All local governments have an environmental health department, the real power lies with the environmental health officer. IF say next door are playing loud music at 2am and you have tried to get them to turn it down and they wont, you could call police but they cant do much, however if you call the environmental health officer , they will monitor the noise level, go into your house etc, listen to see how bad it is and then if it is considered a nuisance they will then speak to the people involved and give them a written warning. If they continue to play the music and ignore further warnings, the environmental health officer can then confiscate the equipment, obviously this is where police then come in to assist. Quite often the officer is busy, normally its just one or two people who do the job, or when they turn up the music has been turned off etc. If it is a persistent thing then the officer will give the person who made the complaints recording equipment to monitor the noise. after a couple of weeks of recording the officer will review the evidence, if found too loud then again writing warnings are issued, and again if it persists the person making the noise can then have their equipment seized and taken to court. If someone or an organization wanted to play loud music for a period of time they would have to apply to council for a license to do so.
  22. Here is an amazing story of how wonderful Gods creation is. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/7291501.stm NZ dolphin rescues beached whales A dolphin has come to the rescue of two whales which had become stranded on a beach in New Zealand. Conservation officer Malcolm Smith told the BBC that he and a group of other people had tried in vain for an hour and a half to get the whales to sea. The pygmy sperm whales had repeatedly beached, and both they and the humans were tired and set to give up, he said. But then the dolphin appeared, communicated with the whales, and led them to safety. The bottlenose dolphin, called Moko by local residents, is well known for playing with swimmers off Mahia beach on the east coast of the North Island. Mr Smith said that just when his team was flagging, the dolphin showed up and made straight for them. "I don't speak whale and I don't speak dolphin," Mr Smith told the BBC, "but there was obviously something that went on because the two whales changed their attitude from being quite distressed to following the dolphin quite willingly and directly along the beach and straight out to sea." He added: "The dolphin did what we had failed to do. It was all over in a matter of minutes." Back at play Mr Smith said he felt fortunate to have witnessed the extraordinary event, and was delighted for the whales, as in the past he has had to put down animals which have become beached. He said that the whales have not been seen since, but that the dolphin had returned to its usual practice of playing with swimmers in the bay. "I shouldn't do this I know, we are meant to remain scientific," Mr Smith said, "but I actually went into the water with the dolphin and gave it a pat afterwards because she really did save the day."

I am sorry i had my music up too loud, i will turn it down for you, i hope it hasn't disturbed you too much, Please dont hesitate to let me know if i have it up too loud in future." certainly we are entilted to do anything we like within the privacy of our own home etc, however once that starts to disturb or effect your neighbours then obviously it is not right to continue it. If you played your music too loud too many times in UK, you could have your equipment confiscate and having to go to court and pay a huge fine.
  24. It is a sad fact and reflection on society today that you give the impression you did not know the person who lived 3 doors away. In times of old people used to know just about everyone else in the same street, yet today we have this barricade the doors and keep ones self to ones self. As Christians we should be making ourselves known and counted, we should aim to know all our neighbors as friends, this way we can tell people about our faith , show love and compassion and be a witness and testimony to CHrist. If girl A died and went to Hell, how would you reply to CHrist when asked why did you not tend to their spiritual seed. DId you plant a seed in them? did you water the seed? did you tend to the shoots? did you reap the fruit of that seed and lead them fully into accepting Christ? NO to all . We live in a world that is dead to The Lord. Satan rules , we see this in way everyone is scared to look at each other, talk to each other or get to know each other. We have become isolationists , fearful of anyone who comes near us. This is how Satan wants us to behave and think, for if we cower like frighted sheep scared of our own shadows afraid to step outside of the barn into the pasture and fields then how are we to meet those others who are not saved and tell them of God? THis is how the world acts, keeping to ones self and turning blind eyes and deaf ears to our neighbors. This is acceptable behaviour, we are not of the world, we should not act like this, simply acting like a CHristian and seeking out our neighbors will tell them we are different to the world, and that we have something that they do not. We can work wonders everyday just by being friendly and showing people love and concern. We do not need to ram Bible or God down peoples throat, if they are curious they will ask and we can then tend to those seeds and reap those fruits when they are ready.
  25. http://www.worthyboards.com/index.php?showtopic=19551 Papasangel gives out bibles to those who need them, have you got in touch yet? Just a thought, some Bibles can be worth a bit of money from a collectors point of view, i doubt you have bibles that are 100s of years old, but it may be worth checking out how much an older or rarer bible is worth to collector. You can then sell the valuable Bible and use the money to buy dozens more pocket New Testaments to give out ,for example.
