It is the job of satan to torment the people of God and God lets it happen from time to time. It builds our faith in Him and strenthens our carector. In the book of Job God actually instigated the confrontation between satan and Job. Satan wasn't even thinking about Job when God said "Have you considered my servant Job?". Satan jumped at the chace to temp one of the most righteous people on the earth at that time. Curses can run in your family but once you are a true lover of Christ the curse is broken at least in your life but not your families unless they to recieve Christ. Physical infermaties like cancer, high blood pressure and so on are not exactly curses. They are the process of death which began when Adam fell and man began to die of old age. The fact of the matter is that you have asked a hard question to answer and there may not be an earthly answer but I can give you an example. Larry Burket the founder of Crown Ministries, died of cancer. During the course of his strugle he had to have his arm and shoulder removed but he never got made at God and worked at his ministry until the day he died. Could Jesus have healed him? Yes He could have. But miricals are for the unsaved and not for the saved. Larry Burket glorified God more than any miricle by continuing to do Gods bidding inspite of his illness. We must glorify God in all things.

God doesn't just want more from you. He also wants you to do more for Him. He will give you as much as you can handle and the closer you get to Him, the closer you will want to be to Him.

If I am understanding your post correctly you are praying to someone other then Christ. No wonder He is stopping it. Christ is the only one we are supposed to pray too and then He decides what to do about it. At which point it is out of your hands.

First of all, Jesus was speaking a parable which is an example. It was an earthly example for a heavenly fact. You left out the word "enemies" from your quote. It was the enemies of Jesus He was talking about. The parable was concerning the responsibilities and or gifts that Jesus gives us. If we have a gift and don,t use it to glorfy Jesus, we are an enemy of Jesus. If He gives us a responsibility like a ministry and we don't take care of that ministry to reach out to souls for Jesus we have failed in our responsibilties. The parable was speaking about a Noblman which a man who comes from a royal blood line. In the days of Jesus when a nobleman had servents who failed him he would consider them enemies and have them killed. And likewise when the time comes even the enemies of Christ will be brought before the throne and judged unwortthy and condemned to everlasting death.

Anybody who says that about the bible has read the bible or they have formed an opinion base on what they have heard and not what is true. Ok. In verse 16 of Chapter 22 of the book of Revelation Jesus says "I have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches". In this verse the word angel is used to speak of a messenger, envoy or one who is sent. he is of the heavenly spirits that wait upon God and Jesus, who are sent by them to earth to execute thier purposes. In Rev. 1:1 the wodr "angel" is also rendered angel from the Greek words, messenger or envoy. So it is the angel that Jesus sent to John to testify of things to come and to speak for Jesus as His envoy. At this point in time God is one God with three entities, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Gen 3:22 says "Behold the man has become like one of Us". However there will be a time when God will be one being just as we are. Zechariah 14:8-9"And it shall be in that day that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem" As you know there are no living waters going out from Jerusalem today, but when the new Jerusalem comes down form God out of heaven (Rev. 21:2). I don't know which version of the Bible you are reading (probably the NIV) but here is what my bible says Rev. 3:12 "Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the Temple of My God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God: and I will write upon him MY new name". Now I have done some research on this verse and as best as I can tell, This verse is talking about the name or names of God. This verse could be talking about two different names or it could be talking about just one name. It is my belief that this verse is talking about one name since it is talking about a time after the decent of New Jerusalem which happens after the 1000 years which will be when God will be one with one name. It really is very simple. God meant for children to have a father and a mother which will give the child ballance. If one marries and gets stuck raising a child with one parent then that parent has to try and do both but that is very hard. But if you have a child on purpose without the opther parent you are being selfish and in rebellion against the plan of God for us "Go forth and multiply" and the child will grow up with the same problems as those children have who come from a broken family. You might not see the problem before they are an adult but there will be some lopsidedness.

You must understand that when King James re-did the bible from Hebrew and Greek to old English there are many things that were changed. In the interest helping people better understand the bible King James's court did many conversions Many of the names of God were converted to Lord or God to make it easier to understand. The Hebrews believed that what we now call "Hell" has three different sections, Hades, Tortorus and Gahenna but when King James converted the bible he changed most of those names of places for hell to one word. Hell. Thereby confounding a better understanding of Hell and its three sections. I like to ask people "On the day that Jesus died were did He go. The most common answer is "Heaven" But Jesus told the thief on the croos that he would be with Him in Paradise on that very day. Which tells us that Jesus didn't go to Heaven on the day He died and Paul says that Jesus first decended into the lower reaches of the earth. So by that we know that Paradise is in the lower reaches of the earth which is part of or one of the sections of what we know as Hell. It is the Bossom of Abraham. The same goes for the names of God. You quoted Revelation 3 to soay that no man knows the name of God but that scripture is not talking about any of the exsisting names of God it is talking about a new name of God. Hello God has many Divine names and titles and each one has a spicific meaning. Elohim which means "The Creator" Jehovah which speaks of Gods Covenant Relationship with His Created/ us. Jehovah-Jireh "Our Provider" Elyon as possessor of the earth. Shaddai means "Almighty" Adonai which means"Lord" Jehovah-Ro which means Jehovah my Shepherd and there are many more names of God most of which are in the Hebrew.

Islam does not promote an intimate relationship with thier God because thier God is dead and not a living one like ours. They don't talk about thier faith because it is forbidden by the Qaron and they are always on the offensive because or attack mode because Islam wants to consume the world by any means. They are not supposed to have any fellowship with anybody except other Muslems. When they have debates it is for the purpose of converting those whom they are debating with. No the origins of Allah come from the worship of a pagan moon god before the days of Mohammed, hence the crescent moon.
