  1. I believe in the literal creation that God created everything. I have also taught my daughter this and told her that I don't care if she brings home and F in sience when they tell her the earth was created out of nothingness on its own. The world wants christains to be tolerant, and that when christain teachings are taught that another side is represented, yet wont even allow the possiblity of creation in the class rooms for considersation. They teach evolution as if it has been a proven fact, yet if you look deeply into it they say its a theory. As a theory, it should be taught as such, yet sadly alot of youths take it as fact, or partually as fact, if they believe in God. Its sad that the minority are making the rules for the magority, but we are told that in the last days people will call evil good, and god evil. Denying the creator of us, and putting ourselves as evolved creation is just evil.
  2. Lord Jesus just like the woman whos meal never ran out during the famine, refreash rockswillcryouts spirit of mercy daily. Give rockswillcryout peace and joy that only you can give. Give understanding into this situation where you bring these to into contact, there is a reason if there work is competly different, and how to apropretly respond always letting your love and mercy shine through. Lord only you know the conditon of our hearts, and if this woman is unsaved put conviction upon her, and let rockswillcryouts light shine so bright that she wants what rockswillcryout has. I ask in Jesus name amen.
  3. Hi Blien, I know how you feel. I've grown up with a friend from the time I was 6, and she 8, I'm now 41 yrs. We both had our daughters at the same time, but things have recently pulled us apart. We are no longer close like before. It's as if this rift will always be there. I think this is of the Lords doing, she has always believed in God, but she also reads alot of books, and rarely reads the bible. She believes there are more than one way to heaven, that Jesus isn't the only way. Yet she believes in Jesus, which is puzzling to me. I've notised that the closer I get to the Lord, that she has a way of leading me astray, not totaly, just not as close as before. She has a way of talking me into seeing movies that in my heart I feel I shouldn't see, yet see them anyway. Maybe the Lord is seperating you from such friends, don't know for sure. But I can tell you it hurts, she is like my sister. It's like giving jup family. My family dosen't have this kind of infuance on me, yet my closest friend did. I don't know if the Lord will bring in another friend to be that close with, or if I'm to reli on Him, but I pray we both make it thru this. Letting you know you are not alone, I seem to be going thru this to. Sometimes I think I'll never have any friends, yet heres hoping things change. I'll be praying for you, I hope you'll pray for me.
  4. For the elects sake it(tibulation matt.24:22,mar. 13:20) will be shortened, so when I see these things I know it is near, but not when the end will be. Even without Jesus saying it will be shortened for our sake, how do we know the date it starts, and ends? The anti-christ is going to come in with flateries, so how do we know it's him until he's already been in power? And from when, cenetor, congressman, president(just useing U.S. formate to show point, not that I think he's comming from U.S.), ect. just from what possition in his career marks the beginning of his reign? So I'm not going to know the end date, just it's at the door. Luke 21:28 When these things BEGAIN to come to pass, THEN look up, and lift up your heads, for your redemption DRAWS NEAR. Daniel 12:1-2 And at that time shall Micheal stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book. 2. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Rev. 20:4-5 And I saw thrones, and they that sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, niether had recieved his mark upon their forheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Rev.20:12-15 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to thier works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delievered up the dead which were in them,: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. I see from these scriptures that at his comming, He is only comming for His children, and they will have 1,000 years with Him. Then he will raise everyone for the white throne judgement. I do not see a secret rapture from these scriptures, just that like He destroyed the earth when noah was on the ark, and sodom and gamorrah was destroyed when Lot left, He will destroy the earth at His comming when we are caught up in the air with Him. The very next chapter of Rev. 21 talks of the new heaven and earth, and that there will not be a need for a sun because the Lamb of God will be the light. Where the streets are made of gold, and walls of jasper. A wonderful new earth were sin will not be present.
  5. Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Mar 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, Mar 13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. Mar 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Mar 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
  6. Does anyone know exact scripture references where God says all this? Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Mat 24:25 Behold, I have told you before. Mat 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Mat 24:28 For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Mar 13:17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Mar 13:18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. Mar 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. Mar 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. Mar 13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: Mar 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Luk 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. Luk 21:12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. Luk 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony. Luk 21:14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: Luk 21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. Luk 21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. Luk 21:17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. Luk 21:18 But there shall not a hair of your head perish. Luk 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls. Luk 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Luk 21:21 Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. Luk 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. Luk 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near[u/].
  7. And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.(Acts 8:37) Some translations take this verse out, WHY? they claim 2 reasons. It depends on the translation as to why. 1 reason stated is that it talks of a body of water, but that there were 4 pools of water in that area, and therefore can't be sure which one the passage refers to, so they left it out. 2 that this verse was added later, and was not in the original text. Lets look at reason 1, a pool of water, does it really matter? I think so, Jesus said that he was the living water, and we wouldn't thirst any more if we drink from his pool. Now if it were that it was a pool of water, why take it out, why not just be a note in the side bar, that it could have been one of four pools that the eunuch was baptized in? But this verse says HE BELIEVED AND WAS BAPTIZED, believed WHAT? That JESUS WAS THE SAVIOR, THE MESSIAH, THE REDIMPTION OF ISRIEL. That it's the belief in HIM that wipes our sins away. So how is it that this verse name a pool of water, other than JESUS BEING THE POOL OF WATER? 2 This verse was added later. If this verse WAS added later, than is Jesus really the messiah? Why believe in him before being baptized? I could just be baptized at any time, like as a baby. No, this passage makes it clear, we have to believe in Jesus first. That means I have to be able to understand that Jesus died for me, that I am a sinner in need of HIS saving grace. As a baby I can't understand this. I can't even talk to communicate theses things, even if I did understand. Also, if it were added later how do I know other things weren't also added? Did Jesus really do all the miricals that they claimed He did? Why not just start doubting this whole bible. I mean after all, it was written by men, and don't we make mistakes? Maybe it's just mans attempt to have control over us by making us think we have something to fear if we disobey? To say this one scripture was added, and not worth being in, is like saying we believe in a false god. WE EITHER BELIEVE HE IS the messiah, OR JUST ANOTHER WAY into heaven, I believe JESUS IS THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH GOD. This bible was written by Holy men that were moved by God. God directed the pen that was in there hand, not the men themselves. That's why we should study to show ourselves approved, and not take mans word for what is in the bible. We should ask the Lord to give us understanding of his word, so we will know what is of man, and what is of God. This is my understanding of this verse, how about you?
  8. Help us Lord, wake us up to stand firm on your word, and to remember that you are the one that set the standard. We are to follow your statutes, precepts, and teachings, not our own. Open our eyes that we see things from your veiw piont, and not our own that can lead us astray. Lord let us love you with our whole heart down to the deepest darkest depths, that we seek you always, never to be decieved by the enemy. In Jesus name Amen.
  9. I think that like other things Jesus told the deciples, they did not fully understand, untill after the reserection of Christ. I believe alot of what he told them are for us today. Matt. 24:29-30 for example, Jesus has not call us into the air. We have not heard the trumpet yet. I must admite I tried to read the whole thing, but about half-way I started skimmy the article, however I did read all of your thoughts. So I'm not sure how to post, or even fully understand your postion, Sorry.
  10. [q]I find this an incredible struggle. They are both nice people and I am happy to call them both my friends. But I find the idea of them calling themselves Christian and going to church very hard when they continue to also be homosexual. I am not sure what sort of a stance I should take on this[/q] You state your struggling with this, is God prompting you for some sort of resopnse? In Gal. 2:11 "But when Peter was come to Antioch, I (Paul) withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed." Paul saw that Peter was infuancing the people about circumcision, contrary to what was true. Peter was more concerned with the higher ups in the congregation, than stating the truth he knew. Just read Gal. Chap. 2, I know it can be hard, we are not Paul, but we are called to defend the gospel of truth. Have you let them know your feelings concerning this issue, that may be all that is required of you, that you take a biblical stand. It can be done in a nice way, not in a mean one. Just point out that as christians we believe the whole word, including what is said about homosexuality, and that like every other sin, we are to repent of them. It doesn't matter how we feel, because God made the rules. He's the father, we the children are to obay, and if we disagree we need to pray to come in line with him, not the other way around. Praying for you, may God guide you in this.
  11. To tell the truth I usually let depression get the better of me. I will question why God loves me so, when I'm nothing but a failure. But he reminds me that the good work he started in me he will finish, that he's not finished with me. Also he remends me that the people in the bible had their flaws, and times of stepping in the flesh to. Elisha after calling down fire, and proving the 300 prophets were fakes, he went to the desert to die. God sent an angel with food to feed him twice he refused the angel, but the 3rd time the angel said God's still got work for you to do, and he turned over and got up. Jesus himself got weary and needed alone time, are the dry spells to bring us in one on one time? Just a thought, seed parable, is the dryness the cares of this life trying to choke us out?
  12. I think the woman that had the issue of blood that had such faith that she pushed through the crowd just to touch the hem of His garmit. Knowing that being unclean she wasn't to be around other people, but needing Him to cleanse her, she didn't let that stop her. How many of us really press on in a crowd? Or what about the woman who cast in all that she had in her need and faith? How many of us really cast ourselves all in to Christ for his use, it's not just money here. Or the woman who had just enough flour to fix 2 little cakes, one for her son, and one for herself. She showed such faith at giveing them to Elijah(right?) that God kept the flour going in the jar all through the famine and they all ate good through it. How many of us would give food out of our own mouth, and childs, to feed someone else? I could go on, and they would be nameless, just faithful in God.
  13. Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; Mar 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Aren't we "comanding" His hand when we rebuke satan in Jesus's name? We have faith to stand upon His word, and believe we have authority over satan, in Jesus Christ. We can't comand Him in any other way, but the same evidence of the power of God's hand that the deciples used should be ours today, but how many really have the faith required to stand upon this truth? How many are healed when we lay hands on them, like Paul and Peter? How about the casting out of devils? Where are these signs today? Thats the truth satan is trying to hide from us. Today we pray for someone and say if it's Gods will they will be healed, is this the same boldness that the deciples had? Aren't we indwelled with the same spirit of the Holy Ghost they had? God is not a respector of persons, and is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. So what changed, was it Gods promise, or is it our faith, holding back His hand against satans power?
  14. Aren't we making a comand in Jesus's name when were rebuke satan in the name of Jesus? I believe this is how we comand His hand, not in any other way. We comand by having faith that His word is true, that He gave us this power to stand on His word. In faith we can have the signs follow us as they did Paul, and Peter, and other deciples of the past, only we don't comand satan in God's power (comand ye me) as He gave us the power.
  15. I've been there and done that, ,and if we are all truthful will admite the same thing. I think pride can also creep in if we are not careful. I thank Jesus that some times He rebukes/chastises those whom He loves. Or I'd be on the wrong path. I beg Him to not let me be decieved, that is a big fear of mine. I know He will never leave me or forsake me, but that doesn't mean that I can't pull my hand out of His hand that leads me. I'm just so thankful that so far He has always rebuked/chastised me, and pulled me back into his presious nail scared hands that lead to safety. Sometimes I feel guilty that I'm not closer to Him, but He reminds me that I'm human and fall from time to time to remind me just how much I do need Him.
  16. Hi We all have our place in the body, i can't complain that another part ian't doing the same as me. Not when we fit in at different spots. I know the devil will try to cause devision, and just as jesus told peter to feed his sheep and not worry about what he was haveing john do, but that which was his job. referance john 21: 15-25 In our walk some are eyes and some are ears, referance 2 corinthians 12:16-18. Some people when they look one one that has the holy spirit they are convicted, others when they here one speak that has the holy spirit. I have prayed about this and was shown in a dream that we are all one of the two, besides being an arm, or leg, ect. Only God can see our hearts, we at any given time don't know the condition of anothers heart, or what it takes to convict them of sins. There may be many that need to see only and be convicted, like doubting tomas. Thoses that are eyes in the body may never talk much with anyone, or even think God is useing them, but someone sees and is convicted daily. Others who are the ears find themselves in converation with strangers, and before they even realize it themselves are witnessing the word. So how can the eye complain about the ear not fitting in properly in the spot reserved for the eye? The ear has his own spot. We think everyone should be the same or one of us is wrong, and we want to point to the other as being in the wrong. Maybe we should find out where we fit in, and do our best there, and let God correct the other member if he's in the wrong. Much love in christ, bridget
  17. I went to the site and listened to some of Ronald Weinland's interviews to get some sort of understanding of his beliefs. In one interview he states that when christ returns, he is only raising 144,000 (as the number mintioned in rev.) from the dead to help him rule the earth for the 1000 years, setting up the earth for the rest of all the people, who will be raised after that time. I, however believe all believers in christ will be raised at that last trump (not just 144,000) the dead in christ first then the rest that are alive. The 144,000 spoken of in rev. are sealed in they're forhead, before the angels unleash they're plagues. I get my info straight from the bible. He says god made him a prophet, and also revealed to him what the seven thunders (spoken of in rev. that john was forbidded to reveal to us) spoke, and that is why he knows when the 3 1/2 years trib starts, in april of 2008. Some things he speaks are biblical, others most definitly aren't, (unless what i've read i got the interpretation wrong), like he says "i am a false prophet if these things don't come to pass", and in 2009 we will know for sure. If our economey turns to the euro, starting in april of 2008 our dollar will fall and become worthless paper, untill we take the euro, also during this 6 month time we will fall no longer being a nation and be under european rule in early 2009. The founder of that denomination Herbert W. Armstrong believed that he was a prophet, now i notice thay call him an apostle. He believed he was "that prophet" spoken of in john 1:20-21. He claimed john was speaking of three different people, christ, elijah, and "that prophet". If that is who he was, then why is the church now claming him as an apostle, and not "that prophet" as he had claimed? I know Ronald Weinland claims to be a prophet and that he will bring the plagues on the earth (he said this in one interview), but does he now believe he's "that prophet"? Only time will reveal the truth, and the date he set was april 2008 being the start of the 3 1/2 years trib, with the U.S. no longer being a nation in 2009, according to the 4 interviews i listened to. Who knows what else are in the others?
  18. I have a 16 year old daughter, and never had her believe in santa, easter bunny, or tooth fairy. My brother would tell her all kinds of redicules things as she grew older, trying to make her believe stories, we all new were fake, that suposedly happened in our relitives life. Rather than accept what he said, she always came to me asking for the truth, and I always gave it. This also has been the way things have gone when she has heard things other kids have said at school about stuff. She knows that I will tell here the truth. At times she will question the validity of God, when she shares with me, we talk about it, and why the other religions don't work. If I had told her the lies, would I have this relationship with her that I have? Or would she have believed the doctrine of lies, causeing her much heartache before coming back to the truth, if she would even make it back? Did she still hunt easter eggs? Yes. Did she still get money under her pillow? Yes. Did she still get presents under the tree? Yes, She just knew the custom/teaching of the hoiday, as also the truth about Halloween, and yes she still dressed up and got candy. We are in this world but not of this world, she just like the rest of us need expereance to judge the truth. If I hide her away and shelter her, how will she stand when I'm no longer there "to teach her in the way that she should go, so that she will not depart from it when she is older"? Because I have always been open and honest with her, she sees things other kids her age doesn't. When she does talk to them about God, they ask her "how can he be real, santa isn't, it's just more lies grownups tell kids to get them to behave, because we all came from monkeys, just like they were taught in school. If god were real why would they teach evalution?" Remember they have taken god out of the schools, can't pray anymore, or even say the pledge of alegance, unlike when us older people were in school, where is the grounding of god in a young persons life these days?
  19. I would ask Him the queation I always seem to ask..... Jesus how can you still love me, when I am such a sinner, I fail all the time, and feel so unworthy, and yet you still love, and forgive me when I ask, how can you still love me when I am so unworthy????
  20. I could be totally wrong here, because I read that verse and it doesn't make sense to me but maybe you have some insight. During a wartime, if there are artillery shells going off, and landing, they sound very much like "thunder". If there is a battle at night fall or in complete darkness, the shells flash across the sky like 'flashes of lighting'. Perhaps this is what he saw? But then why would he seal up what the 7 thunders said? I have no idea about the second posting, I dont know much about the wailing wall and dome. Blien I wasn't even thinking that about the seven thunders ...but WOW....I was indecating that like Daniel being sealed to the end times, that part of Revalation was to. I was litting you know about what in Rev. I was refering to about being sealed, but WoW! Maybe the reason it was sealed was because John could do a better job at descirbing things in a way we would understand before the time. In the movie "blast from the past" a boy is born in a fall out shelter underground. His father tells him about baseball, but the boy doesn't understand, then 1 day he has to go up out of the shelter into the world above for supplys. During the time, he is at a baseball game, he tells one person, "Now I get it you have to see it to understand it." I believe when we see these things come about, then we will understand, just like the boy and the baseball. But wow about the thunders, I had never thought of that before. I dod haw ever wonder why he even mentioned them, if he had to keep it sealed. I do believe it is important, or he wouldn't even of let us know sometning mager is going to happen with them. I personally had always thoght it waqs actual thunder, but now..Wow...I don't know what to think, You????? Much love in Christ Jesus, Sister Bridget
  21. I think the 70 weeks are literally 70 years. Dan. 9:2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel UNERSTOOD by books the NUMBER OF YEARS, whereof the word of the Lord came to JEREMIAH the prophet, that he would ACCOMPLISH SEVENTY YEARS IN THE DESOLATIONS OF JERUSALEM He then prociedes to tell us he was fasting when the angel Gabreil came to give him understanding 7 weeks/years 62 weeks/year + 1week/year 70weeks/years He didn't add another 62 weeks/years just said after the 62 weeks/years Messiah would be cut off. So to really fully understand what he is talking about we also need to back to the book Jeremiah to understand. 9:27 And HE SHALL CONFIRM the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even untill the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Here he said confirm, not make or enter into a covenant, so he will enforce a previece one that they have already intered into. This is how I see that we need to go about understanding it. There is much live in Christ Jesus, Sister Bridget
  22. Blien While reading and replying to another topic I see how it lines up here. I had posted this in the "Saints in tribulation" topic. I think this lines up here, what do you think???
  23. Well angel are asigned citys. In Danieal 9:21 says Gabreil came to him to show him understandong. In Daniel 10:13 Gabreil says the prience of Persia withstood him 21 days from coming and the Michael the chief prince came to help him, restaining the prience of Persia. Daniel himself said Godly angels are restraining evil angels.
  24. Thank you for that informative post. When the scripture says...."till the fullness of the Gentiles be come in"does that mean, as I used to think, until all the Gentiles that can be saved are saved, or...is what you are saying above - until it's time for the Gentiles to meet God's wrath? I, just recently, find that I believe it means the later....their time is drawing to a close and they will no more run over Jerusalem. Isn't it funny how you can look at the same scripture and all of the sudden see something so very different than before? ..........Whirlwind When you look at Romans 11:12, you see the word fullness used in relation to the Jews Romans 11:12 But if their slipping away is the riches of the world, and their default is the riches of the nations, how much more their fullness? The contrast shows them slipping away, and the fullness is them being saved. Paul uses that word in relation to the Gentiles in 11:25 Romans 11:25 For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you should be wise within yourselves; that blindness in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the nations has comes in. The word "fullness" in both instances refers to their conversion, not a time of wrath. Thank you for your reply but I must disagree. The scripture we are discussing, Romans 11:25.....that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in is again written of in Luke. Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 23.For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 24.And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. 27.And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. To me, the word "fulness" as used in the verse in question does not mean conversion....it is speaking of God's wrath....the times of the Gentiles will be over. God has blinded some to truth for their protection (Romans 11:7) until it is time for the cleansing. Their eyes will be opened when the Holy Spirit speaks through God's Elect (Mark 13:9-11)....They are of the 144,000 that will be sealed at that time and then the end shall come.(Rev.7:3-8) ......Whirlwind The fullness of the gentiles, refer to the abomination of desilation. Matt.24:15-22 mark 13:14-20 Luke 21:20-23 Dan. 7:25 & 8:23-25 & 9:27 & 11:23-24 Jer.25:8-13 & 29:8-14 & 50:13-15 Eze. 1:4-24 & 8:15:18 & 9:1-10 & 10:1-21 I believe the 70 weeks started when jerusalem became inhabited with jewish people, can I give an exact date, no I haven't followed there history. But what I do know is.... In Eze. 8:15-18 God asks him if he sees that the men are praying to the east worshiping the sun, with their back to the alter. In 9:1-2 God calls all the armies together with weapons of slaughter. In 9:4-10 God wont let the battle begain untill all the men that have cried out about the abominations of Jereusalem are seal, 144,000. In chapther 10 he discribes the battle as best he can from an heavenly perspective, he inecates this in 10:20-21 refering us back to chapter 1. In 1 he was on earth seeing this come quikly upon jereusalem. Notice God is angery that they are defilling the temple by praying to the S-U-N IN THE EAST? Think about Isreal today, the dome of the rock and the wailing wall, Any simularities? Now in Jer. 50:13-15 God calls all the armies together agains babylon. Now what I do see here is God called the armies both places. Islam is the religion of the old babylonian impire, and Islam is in the dome of the rock right in Jereusalem, God's holy city. The fulness of the Gentiles is the treading down of the temlpe. It's happening right now, the jewish people do not have their promised land, but is being tread down by the gentiles, with a sun worship, where they do pray to the east, and the sun does rise in the east. The wrath comes when God gets so angry, he rides Jereusalem of this abomination, and sets up His earthy kingdom in Jereusalem. The underlined should read... Islam is the religion of where the old babylonian impire was. Sorry.
