  1. Sorry Brandon's Popo, I walked into that derailment didn't I.
  2. I believe we are very close to the end of the age. Are you ill? if so could we pray for you? how do know you will die before the great tribulation starts? Hi ezekiel33, No I am not ill, but we all could do with prayer couldn't we. the bible says that we are not appointed to wrath. Gods wrath is coming on the whole world and jesus will deliver us from the wrath to come. Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, He will return for His bride before the tribulation happens on the earth. The tribulation that comes on the earth is a testing for the unbelievers, yet no matter what the Lord does they still do not repent. There will be some who repent because we see them before the throne of God in Rev 8. But we won't be here the church is in heaven praising the Lord. This is depicted by the twenty four elders in Rev 4. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed
  3. Why would mortal bodies go into an earthly kingdom in immortal bodies. Doesn't the kingdom reign revert back to what it was in Adam and Eve's time before sin entered the world. God had complete rule over Adam and Eve until Satan took that rule by convincing Eve to partake of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and she gave to Adam to try. The millennial reign is over mortal nations who will come and worship the King in Jerusalem these are believers from all nations who have survived the attacks that came up against them from the none believing nations. The none believing nations are cast out into outer darkness awaiting judgment. Matthew 8:11-13 11And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Zechariah 14:16 16And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. 17And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. 18And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 19This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. In our immortal bodies we feel no pain we do not suffer any afflictions. Revelation 21:4 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. So the punishment for not obeying and worshiping Christ as King would not affect the immortal bodies. Another thing why would those who have immortal bodies go against their King, they are without sin for they have incorruptable bodies. During the millennial reign there are those who turn against their King, this is not the actions of immortal people. Those who turn against Christ will gather together under the rule of Satan at the end of the Millennial kingdom and go up against the camp of the saints. Revelation 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. Once again this is not the action of immortal and incorruptable souls, it is the action of mortal, corruptable souls.
  4. nO Hi Rufus, What makes you say no? If they don't go into the millennial kingdom in their mortal bodies, what bodies are they in?
  5. I believe the tribulation is a seven year tribulation and it starts as soon as the first seal is broken. The one who comes riding the white horse comes on the scene with a bow but no arrow so the kingdom is handed over to him willingly. He conquered this kindom without a fight. This is the start of the tribulation.
  6. Just a question ?????????????????????? When the Lord returns do believers go into the millennial kingdom in their mortal bodies?
  7. I would like to add my bit here. I was just thinking about this in church today. Matthew 24:36-44 36
  8. The image that comes to mind is an asteroid or comet impacting the earth. The resulting ash and dust would create what some term a nuclear winter where the sunlight is diminished significantly. One can only guess about stinging locusts. Perhaps the embers falling from the sky surrounded by cooled ash. They would have a fuzzy appearance until one landed on you and the ash would be knocked off to reveal a red hot ember whose mark/burn would be as painful as a scorpion sting and perhaps for as long. We have to remember to look at these prophesies/visions through the eyes of the person to whom they were revealed. Their descriptions would be relative to the things of their time. Some references, on the other hand, are likely much as they appear, such as in the case of angels. To be sure some might interpret these angels to be airplanes battling something larger perhaps but unless we too had the vision we have to work with what we have. 1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. This is an angel that falls from heaven not a comet. This star has a gender it is a male.
  9. I had a thought and then I thought I might share that thought with you. As we have been discussing the end times and Satan being cast out of heaven and something accured to me. At the time of the flood the earth opened up and spewed out water and the heavens opened up and rain was poured out upon the earth. In the end times the earth will spew out something more sinister and the heavens will pour down something more sinister. I am not saying this is what the bible means when it says in the days of Noah so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. I am just saying it reminds me of that time. Revelation 9:1-3 1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. 3 Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. What is released out of this pit so as to make the sun dark? Demons were released millions of them. Demons now walk the earth not just a few but millions and they have power to harm man but not take their life, and that reminds me of the time when Satan had the power to harm Job but not take his life. Then the heavens spewed out its sinister rain. It rained down Satan and the rest of his demons, no longer could Satan enter heaven to accuse the brethren for there was no place found for him in heaven. Revelation 12:7-12 7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
  10. Amen to that Floatingaxe. The church is raptured well before the Lord returns the second time. I will be pleased to reign side by side with my Lord during the Millennial Kingdom. We will return with Him when He destroys the enemy. Revelation 19:11-16 11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 20:1-6 1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. The Saints Reign with Christ 1000 Years 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

    End times

I presume that happens when we are in heaven, there is no distinction between man and woman.

    End times

When Christ died on the cross at Calvary He died for all. In 1 Corinthians it tells us there is no distinction between the Jews, Greeks slave or free man. 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body
  13. As it has been said many times I see, we all have a past that some of us are not proud of, but once we come to the Lord and ask forgiveness He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. The enemy (Satan) is trying to use your past to bring you down don't let him. You need to ask God to forgive you for the lie and if it comes up again use your life as a witness to others. Paul had a past I am quite sure he wasn't proud of but he used that past to help others see past their sin and see Christ, you can do the same.
  14. I find it discusting and dellusional that a woman has carried a child, yet that woman wants to be a man, This is just two lesbians living together but trying to cover up there sin. This is not a Godly thing it is demonic. A thought just came to mind. Is this Satan trying to replicate the birth of Christ. Christ had no earthly father. This child must have an earthly father for a seed is needed to reproduce. Do you understand where I am coming from?
  15. Hi Tigger, First of all we know that God is a God of love and He doesn't long for anyone to suffer, whether that suffering be physical, mental or spiritual, and this is the reason He sent His beloved Son, so that we may find peace in Him. John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18
  16. Hi tigger, We are in the last days, and the Bible tells us not even the Son of Man knows the time when the Lord returns. So if Jesus didn't know when the time was, which time is that? When he is to return which is what starts off the Millennial kingdom, then we will never know. The world will be in darkness when it comes to the time of the Lords return and the beginning of the Millennial period. But we must be prepared for the Lords return and we must focus on our job, which is to preach to others the Gospel message and make disciples and send them out to do the same. Salvation is here and now, whilst there is still a breath in us there is still life, and there is still a possibility of eternal salvation for those we preach Gospel message to, so let us dilligently serve our Lord and Savior whilst we can. The Lord may come in the morning, He may come at noon, He may come in the evening. Let us always be prepared and ready to meet our Lord. Praise our Lord for the eternal life He has given us through the shedding of His precious blood. I remeber as a young christian one day talking to my mother and it hit me, whilst Jesus was on the cross God was there with him, but then in the darkness whilst our sins were being poured out on Jesus God left Him there hanging alone, no Father to comfort Him, He suffered and died alone seperated from is Father because of what I had done. The spitting, the punches, the abuse the beard pulled out, the wipping all of that and He was mared beyond recognition all for me. How could I not love someone who would give up so much for me. I am looking forward to seeing my Lord whenever that maybe. I long to see Him face to face, I long to thank Him for His grace and I long to see all my family there as well for I know my family will be huge and it will be a great homecoming festival. Imagine all of us sitting around the Lords table, with our Lord and each other, that really blows my mind to know one day soon we all shall be together eternally. Amen

    A New Temple

I was not referring unto middle ground with regard to the Scriptures. I was referring only to beliefs of people which are at one extreme or another. Sorry I misunderstood what you were saying.
  19. No everyone is entitled to what they believe no matter what side of the coin it is. It is up to the Holy Spirit to convict us of the truth. We are not to finger point, if we do that we always have three pointing right back at us. Believing amill, pre mill or post mill is not going to send us to hell and it is not what saves you, it is faith in Jesus Christ that saves us and none belief in Jesus Christ that sends you to hell.

    A New Temple

If we take a look at Revelation 11 we will find it speaks of a physical building not a spiritual temple. Revelation 11 The Two Witnesses 1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying,

    Israel and Satan

What is the meaning behind Revelation twelve does it speak of spiritual Israel or the physical Israel. Revelation 12 The Woman, the Child, and the Dragon 1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. 2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. The woman is Israel the child she gives birth to is Jesus Christ. 3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. Here we find the fall of Lucifer from heaven he takes 1/3 of the angels with him and they are now demons and Lucifer is now called Satan, dragon, deceiver, accuser of the brethren etc. Isaiah 14:12-14 12

    A New Temple

Hi Mike, The way they build things today, I think it would only take a few months to build especially if they have all the equipment they need to build it already. When it comes to the rapture we might be around to see the new temple when it is built, but we won't be around when the son of perdition sets himself up as God in the temple.

    A New Temple

There are two physical Temples yet to come before the New Heavens and New Earth: The first, I believe, is the Temple that is about to be built in Israel, which the anti-Christ will desecrate. The second is the Millennial Temple shown to us in Ezekiet 40-48. It is my conviction that this Temple will exist in the Millennium (Messianic Kingdom), and Jesus will sit in this Temple on the throne of David and will rule the world from there. As for us, the New Testament use the "Temple" metaphor to describe us as Christians both individually and collectively. This is never offered by the New Testament in any discussion of eschatological issues, and so I don't see it as standing opposed to the concept that there will be two more Temples on earth this side of eternity. I agree shiloh357, There are two temples to come the one spoken of in Zacheriah 14 and Ezekiel 40-48 being the mellennial reign and that spoken of in Daneil 9, 11,12 and the new Testament Matthew and Mark. The Israelites will build a new temple and they will once again sacrifece to God. This temple is built either during the 7 year tribulation or before, I am not quite sure when, but I do know they will rebuild, because the son of perdition sets himself up as God in the temple who is also the beast who receives his power frrom the dragon in Revelation 13. 2 Thessalonians 2:2-4 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

    A New Temple

I agree Richard...anytime an attitude such as the reply you responded to one can be guaranteed there is error and a middle ground needs to be met...at the very least people should give room for error on each side and not assume that one view is superior to the other..... Even without the fact that Revelation was written somewhere around 95AD there is no middle ground when Revelation 11 says God's temple and altar are to be measured and the outer court is to be trodden under foot by the Gentiles while the two prophets are prophecying out side in the streets of Jerusalem. There is no middle ground when the bible says it is the Holy city that is trodden under foot for 42 months, 1260 days, 0r 3 1/2 years which ever way it is to be said. This is a future event it has not happened yet, there is no mistake about that. With the word of od there is no middle ground I am sorry to say. Which ever way you go there can only be one correct answer. IMHO just read the verses and you can only come to the conclusion that it is a future event.
