  1. Not really statistics, but it just seems that way now...
  2. Yes, the posts have helped. Everyone is welcome to continue posting too. It seems the only thing I could do for these people, is to pray, although that may not change anything for them. From what I read in this thread, these people are really hopeless, yet still capable of being saved. I actually try to debate against them, but they argue Christianity cannot be proved. I've been doing this for around a year. Nevertheless, I remain steadfast in my faith. I'm a hard stone to crack. I will not forsake the Lord. P.S. I never made a vow to the Lord.
  3. Is there a relatively easy way I can preach the gospel to these people? Is there a dapper line or paragraph I could use? Actually, I know it wouldn't be easy...but still, I want these people to change for the glory of the Lord. They have a free gift of salvation, they just need to accept it. Please give me some advise on what approach I should teach these people about Christ. Should I try to befriend them, gain their trust, then witness to them?
  4. I would at least be content that there is a toilet, toilet paper, running water to drink with, and wide open spaces to lay down on. It would still be terrible though, I'd be very hungry after a hundred hours...
  5. I don't understand why all of a sudden, in the late 20th and 21th centuries, atheism began spreading so rapidly across the world. What exactly makes atheism appealing to these people? It does not promise any afterlife, it teaches that you no longer exist after death, and believes that there is no God whatsoever. Why do you think it's become popular all of a sudden? I hate atheism with a passion, but I love, and respect the actual atheists... I also wish to ask the same about agnosticism....basically, a so called "middle line" between being religious, or disbelieving. Another thing, which country has the largest population of atheists, could someone please show a percentage as well? I feel that I need to know how bad it actually is right now. May the Lord have mercy on all of their souls. I pray right now that many turn back to Christ.
  6. I'm not racist towards Muslims, but just because of what they believe in, I fear them. It's gotten to be worse in France than in the United Kingdom, too. Something around 40% of the French population is Muslim.
  7. It seems that the Early Christians (Christians who lived after Christ, to the year of the Nicaean Creed) simply did not celebrate their birthdays, unlike most of the pagans at the time. Are birthday celebrations inherantly pagan? After reading this article, the question is, should Christians be celebrating their own birthdays? If you ask me, I think too much pride is involved in birthdays, it almost seems un-Biblical, except for one birthday in particular; the Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should all be humble, and not filled with pride. So, should Christians celebrate their birthdays? There doesn't seem to be a reason why we should, according to the Bible... Also, I'll let all of you in on something, I don't like celebrating my own birthday, apart from that it is just too embarrassing, I just don't think it's Biblical. Correct me on this if possible. Thank you, and may the Lord bless you all.
  8. I pray for all of the nations in the world, including the United States, which is where my home is. It seems it is near the End Times as we speak, however, fellow believers, do not fear. We will be protected by the Lord if it be his will. I pray for all of the less fortunate throughout Earth, people in poverty, people living in poor conditions. I also pray for those in wealthy lands, as they may not see a need to be religious, an unfortunate byproduct of western society, as well as many other lands.
  9. Lol, even though the page is no longer availible, I read about this a while back. Santa Clause not being able to laugh like "ho ho ho" anymore? Is that what this thread is about? Correct me if I'm wrong. I think it's another pathetic attempt at political correctness. I am sometimes PC to avoid offences though.
  10. My Grandmother said there are probably only 10% of the American population that are "true believers." Many though, claim the Christian name. Could it be that there are more than just 10% of the population that are Christians? Maybe 20% is more accurate?
  11. I actually agree with the original poster; that ghosts are basically just demons who are impersonating the image of a deceased person. For instance, people report being able to see ghosts that actually look like people, but are probably just demons impersonating the dead. If I ever see a "ghost," I'll pray to the Lord to remove it.
  12. I think that comedies that mock the name of the Lord are a disgrace.....Also, we Christians should complain about these sort of shows, and even the commercials have gotton worse over the last seven years! It's horrible, just the other week, I saw a commercial on public telivision (well, I was watching the Godfather Part III ), and it showed a woman stripping her clothes off one by one, until her hands covered her private parts......Another disgraceful commercial I saw was homosexual and lesbian, it showed a man embracing a man, and a woman embracing another woman. Society these days.... I feel sadness for all the souls who view this content on telivision and internet. Not that we should get rid of TV or Internet, but we Christians should complain about objectionable content frequently.
