Andrew Grenon in 2006 and sadly he was killed in Sept 2008 along with Pte Chad Horn & Cpl Mike Seggie. I received this in my email this morning from a soldier who served with Andrew and he asked if I would share it on our page so here it is: WHY WE FIGHT - By Cpl. Andrew Grenon I’ve often asked myself why we are here. Why my government actually agreed to send troops to this God-forsaken place. There are no natural resources. No oil, gold, or silver. Just people. People who have been at war for the last 40 plus years. People who want nothing more than their children to be safe. People who will do anything for money; even give their own life. I look into the eyes of these people. I see hate, destruction and depression. I see love, warmth, kindness and appreciation. Why do we fight? For in this country, there are monsters. Monsters we could easily fight on a different battlefield, at a different time. Monsters that could easily take the fight to us. Surrounding these mud walls and huts is a country in turmoil. A country that is unable to rebuild itself. A country that cannot guarantee a bright future for its youth. Why do we fight? Because, if we don’t fight today, on THIS battlefield, then our children will be forced to face these monsters on our own battlefield. I fight because I’m a soldier. I fight because I’m ordered. I fight, so my children won’t have to. R.I.P Cpl Andrew Grenon His shoulder patch designates he served for Canada.

I remember the fallen who died during peace time. There is much heroism in the way a person takes his/her last breath. Flight 93 also comes to mind, as well as the 30 marines (that I heard of) who died during my tenure in the Marine Corps. Heroism is not an American virtue. It belongs to those of all nationalities on both sides of the battle field. Sacrificing oneself for another is the rarest form of God's love. To which, all I can say to these rare individuals is: Semper-Fi.

Thanks Andy for keeping your promise of informing us when the end of the world hits. At least we will have a few hours warning to "Get Our Lives Right" with the Lord before the end comes. But then again, the question of how long is a generation in God years? I think it is any where from 40 years to 120 years. So if the mark of the beginning of the last generation is 1948 (the year Israel became a nation) that would mean that the world will end between 1988 and 2068. I guess we are on "borrowed time" then. :24:

Brothers and Sisters of our Lord and Savior Jesus the one true God, I think it is time to shake the dust from our feet and let the ignorant be alone with his (or her) evil satanic muslim beliefs. Jesus can no longer be served by continuing to argue with "A muslim". However, the thread should be made available for future seekers who wish to see the true nature of a follower of that satanic murder cult. Nothing can be gained as he/she refuses to accept truth even when it is staring them directly in the face. But that begs the question, if muhammad is dead and no longer affected by insults, why are so many Christians and others who discredit his name put to death by islamic followers? If your "religion" is not a murder cult as I have proven, then why are so many Christians in countries such as Ache, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, etc. being pulled from their homes and executed in the street with full approval of the islamic backed governments? Though these fellow Christians are highly honored by Jesus for their sacrifice, the blood that was shed shall be repaid for at the final judgment day. Is this the muslim plan for America? turn us into another muslim only country? another country where free speech is declared illegal unless it favors islam? Oh wait, that has already happened, in Deer born Michigan, a group of Christians were silently protesting the islamic celebration of rahmedahn, perfectly legal, but were arrested for disturbing the peace.
