In Genesis - it says that fowl came first..... you'll have to ask God why.

The book of Genesis talks about Gods creation through the Word.

Likewise, as with man, he created them male and female.

An unfertilised egg brings forth no offspring, as a fertilised egg is the product of a male and female.

As such, it is my view that the chickens (as with man) came before the fertilised egg.

By faith we accept, and reason supports...

The chicken came first.

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day Genesis 1:21-23

Eggs need to have to be incubated and and egg cannot be "fruitful and multiply". He didn't tell the egg to multiply in the earth. The chicken (and rooster) came before the egg.

scripture says that God created the birds, the beasts, and the swimmers. nowhere does scripture say that God laid eggs.

I've read that the chicken is a bred bird. If this is true, then the egg was first.
