Psalm 128

A song of ascents.

1 Blessed are all who fear the LORD,

who walk in his ways.

2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;

blessings and prosperity will be yours.

3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine

within your house;

your sons will be like olive shoots

around your table.

4 Thus is the man blessed

who fears the LORD.

5 May the LORD bless you from Zion

all the days of your life;

may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem,

6 and may you live to see your children's children.

Peace be upon Israel.

Psalm 129

Prayer for the Overthrow of Zion's Enemies.

A Song of Ascents.

1."Many times they have persecuted me from my youth up,"

Let Israel now say,

2."Many times they have persecuted me from my youth up;

Yet they have not prevailed against me.

3."The plowers plowed upon my back;

They lengthened their furrows."

4.The LORD is righteous;

He has cut in two the cords of the wicked.

5.May all who hate Zion

Be put to shame and turned backward;

6.Let them be like grass upon the housetops,

Which withers before it grows up;

7.With which the reaper does not fill his hand,

Or the binder of sheaves his bosom;

8.Nor do those who pass by say,

"The blessing of the LORD be upon you;

We bless you in the name of the LORD."

Psalm 130

A Song of Ascents.

1Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Jehovah.

2 Lord, hear my voice: Let thine ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.

3 If thou, Jehovah, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

4 But there is forgiveness with thee, That thou mayest be feared.

5 I wait for Jehovah, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.

6 My soul waiteth for the Lord More than watchmen wait for the morning; Yea, more than watchmen for the morning.

7 O Israel, hope in Jehovah; For with Jehovah there is lovingkindness, And with him is plenteous redemption.

8 And he will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.

Psalm 131

I Have Calmed and Quieted My Soul

A Song of Ascents. Of David.

1. :thumbsup:O LORD, my heart is not lifted up;

my eyes are not raised too high;

I do not occupy myself with things

too great and too marvelous for me. :noidea:

2. :laugh:But I have calmed and quieted my soul,

like a weaned child with its mother;

like a weaned child is my soul within me. :emot-heartbeat:

3. :emot-heartbeat:O Israel, hope in the LORD

from this time forth and forevermore. :emot-heartbeat:

Psalm 132 (Amplified Bible)

Psalm 132

A Song of Ascents.

1LORD, [earnestly] remember to David's credit all his humiliations and hardships and endurance--

2How he swore to the Lord and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:

3Surely I will not enter my dwelling house or get into my bed--

4I will not permit my eyes to sleep or my eyelids to slumber,

5Until I have found a place for the Lord, a habitation for the Mighty One of Jacob.

6Behold, at Ephratah we [first] heard of [the discovered ark]; we found it in the fields of the wood [at Kiriath-jearim].

7Let us go into His tabernacle; let us worship at His footstool.

8Arise, O Lord, to Your resting-place, You and the ark [the symbol] of Your strength.

9Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness (right living and right standing with God); and let Your saints shout for joy!

10For Your servant David's sake, turn not away the face of Your anointed and reject not Your own king.

11The Lord swore to David in truth; He will not turn back from it: One of the fruit of your body I will set upon your throne.

12If your children will keep My covenant and My testimony that I shall teach them, their children also shall sit upon your throne forever.

13For the Lord has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His habitation:

14This is My resting-place forever [says the Lord]; here will I dwell, for I have desired it.

15I will surely and abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread.

16Her priests also will I clothe with salvation, and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

17There will I make a horn spring forth and bud for David; I have ordained and prepared a lamp for My anointed [fulfilling the promises of old].

18His enemies will I clothe with shame, but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

Psalm 133

A song of ascents. Of David.

1 :thumbsup: How good and pleasant it is

when brothers live together in unity!

2 It is like precious oil poured on the head,

running down on the beard,

running down on Aaron's beard,

down upon the collar of his robes.

3 It is as if the dew of Hermon

were falling on Mount Zion.

For there the LORD bestows his blessing,

even life forevermore. :taped:

This is perfect for the beginning of the week.

Psalm 135

Your Name, O LORD, Endures Forever

1 Praise the LORD! Praise the name of the LORD,

give praise, O servants of the LORD,

2.who stand in the house of the LORD,

in the courts of the house of our God!

3.Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good;

sing to his name, for it is pleasant!

4.For the LORD has chosen Jacob for himself,

Israel as his own possession.

5.For I know that the LORD is great,

and that our Lord is above all gods.

6. Whatever the LORD pleases, he does,

in heaven and on earth,

in the seas and all deeps.

7. He it is who makes the clouds rise at the end of the earth,

who makes lightnings for the rain

and brings forth the wind from his storehouses.

8.He it was who struck down the firstborn of Egypt,

both of man and of beast;

9.who in your midst, O Egypt,

sent signs and wonders

against Pharaoh and all his servants;

10. who struck down many nations

and killed mighty kings,

11. Sihon, king of the Amorites,

and Og, king of Bashan,

and all the kingdoms of Canaan,

12.and gave their land as a heritage,

a heritage to his people Israel.

13. Your name, O LORD, endures forever,

your renown, O LORD, throughout all ages.

14. For the LORD will vindicate his people

and have compassion on his servants.

15. The idols of the nations are silver and gold,

the work of human hands.

16.They have mouths, but do not speak;

they have eyes, but do not see;

17.they have ears, but do not hear,

nor is there any breath in their mouths.

18.Those who make them become like them,

so do all who trust in them!

19. O house of Israel, bless the LORD!

O house of Aaron, bless the LORD!

20.O house of Levi, bless the LORD!

You who fear the LORD, bless the LORD!

21.Blessed be the LORD from Zion,

he who dwells in Jerusalem!

Praise the LORD!

Psalm 136

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good.

His love endures forever.

2 Give thanks to the God of gods.

His love endures forever.

3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords:

His love endures forever.

4 to him who alone does great wonders,

His love endures forever.

5 who by his understanding made the heavens,

His love endures forever.

6 who spread out the earth upon the waters,

His love endures forever.

7 who made the great lights

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
