Guest LadyC
ok, practical question here. who's watching the dogs while they're on their honeymoon? if they're going to a doggy-spa for the week, maybe you could get them a gift certificate for part of the expense? or buy them a gift certificate for a nice restauarant in texas... not just an ordinary restaurant that can be found anywhere, but some place that is local to the area. or any local attraction that would be unique. i'm sure plenty of texans around here could give you suggestions if you can share what part of texas they'll be travelling to. Just a thought... Blessings to them and you!! That's what I thought.

Your father will be greatly blessed by that and your soon-to-be step-mom will also be thrilled at knowing she is accepted. I thought of that . . . but I don't know what gift would say that. If it isn't too painful, as your real mom and her situation hasn't been mentioned, a card that says, "Mom, on your wedding day!" or a piece of jewelry with mom ( or step-mom if you prefer), spelled out. Another idea would be to get those two heart necklaces that split so each one can have one with them at all times. There are those single heart pendents that are broken in two that have an inscription that is written in such a way that the two halves need to be together to read the entire message. Both are relatively inexpensive.

She is an associate pastor. Her life basically revolves around church and church work. She also has 6 dogs. Dad likes watching TV. He's also into NASCAR. The only things I've known them doing together are restaurants, watching TV, and watching NASCAR. Sorry . . . I don't know much either. They will be traveling by car for their honeymoon to Texas. Nebula 6 dogs? Are they all going to live with you and your Dad???? 6?????? Wow, she must be a animal lover!! It's so difficult to find a present they can both enjoy , maybe something to hang on the wall with their names engraved in it? A frame with a Bible verse and their names engraved??
