They were there when God planed and measured the foundations and cornerstone. These things are always done before construction begin.

This verse is speaking of planet Earth's construction. In Gen 1, Earth becomes land and sea on the second day. Technically there is time to create the heavenly hosts in the first two days. So more evidence is required to say it did not happen.

What I really wanted to know when I started this thread was: Was the creation of the spiritual beings coincident with the creation of the physical universe or did angels precede the physical universe.

We have already seen hazard's evidence for creation and recreation. which we obviously disagreed. But how about the spirit realm, does it require any physicality, or can it exist without a physical universe? If so, angels may have preexisted humans by infinity.

If God was casting out Satan this would mean God overpowered Satan, which of course this is true. So if God had total control over the rebellious angel, how could he allow the destruction of His newly created heaven and earth. and why the was only earth changed to formless and and void. And then of course you need to have God fixing all the damage that was created when Satan was cast out.

All of nature changed when Adam and Eve fell. What could have changed when the angels rebelled?

Sorry, my answer as I worded it seems illogical because I thought you had in mind my response in post 42. But I see know you were responding to post 15 which was when I was still discussing Hazards theory of double creation of the earth.

Sorry about the confusion. I do believe there was a physical universe when the angels fell.

I do not however believe that their fall corrupted the physical universe. If that was the case then the earth is double cursed, and was cursed before Adam's transgression.
