are you advocating getting the army to organize a coup against the democratically elected President? Because that's what happened in Honduras.

Am I to assume that you believe our president is acting outside his constitutional mandate?

For all intents and purposes our entire government has exceeded it's authority as granted by the constitution. You can argue "democratically elected" all you wish, just as the Iranian government is doing, and in the end it all still boils down to the government expanding it's own powers without the consent or permission of the people they are meant to represent.

Personally I would be ecstatic if I thought our military would facilitate such a move. Sadly it seems the very people we would wish to depose are also protected by and in fact in control of our military. As such our military has been charged with defending the "United States" against all enemies "foreign and domestic". It's the security our military offers that has made our government officials so bold and conceited. As I said. They feel untouchable and this makes them dangerous.

But the defense of the Constitution of Honduras.

Actually Amor,

I just went and looked at three articles on the subject matter and they all state the same thing. The duly Elected Congress and the duly Nominated Courts system of Honduras found what the President was doing was unconstitutional. He was seeking an unconstitutional referendum to take for himself powers that he does not possess as said President. He was moving in a Dictatorial fashion and the duly Elected Congress and duly Nominated Courts had the military stop him and prevent a Constitutional crisis.

It's pretty cut and dry, they were within their constitutional mandate to do so.

The fact that the Leftists in the U.S. and the Leftists in the U.N. are upset about this and want El Presidente` returned to power speaks volumes and every American best rise up and pay close attention.
