Greetings One Way,

Anyone born again of the Spirit will be taken at the rapture (harpazo), or catching up.

Yep, you sure are right One Way, right AFTER the FIRST RESURRECTION:

1 Thess 4:16-18 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (HARPAZO) together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Unfortunately your words aren't very comforting words that you speak, because it is ONLY a remnant that will go up in the HARPAZO, the rest will have been killed and will GO FIRST in the RESURRECTION - HOORAY!!!

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Have you given any thought to these verses:

1 Cor 15:20-23 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Now because there were no punctuation marks in the original, let me re-word this last part: But every man in his own order: Christ; (semicolon) the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

It need not be this way, but please consider it and that would make the "resurrections" of the saints:

Christ

Firstfruits

First Resurrection

BUT, it could be: Christ as part of the FIRSTFRUITS along with:

Ephesians 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

I believe the "captivity" were the ones here:

1 Peter 3:18-20 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

These verses, I believe, indicate that when Christ died, He went and preached to those in "captivity" - prison, and then when He ascended up on high, He took them with Him.

So it may be that the 144,000 are those whom arose with Christ at that time and are seen by John as being on the TRUE Mt. Zion in Heaven. Isn't that what the "firstfruits" are?

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Not until now.

The firstfruits has to do with quality not quantity or timelapse

Nu 18:12

All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee

CHRIST the firstfruit among men being the only one without spot or blemish. Who's sacrefice cleansed others so thay could enter in to the quality standard of: without spot: blemish free.

Even though CHRIST was the first to be resurected. HE also said.

Mt 19:30

But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Mt 20:8

So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

Mt 20:16

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen

The apostles, who walked and talked with CHRIST, sleep awaiting the resurection from the dead. Yet in the prophecy of John in the revilation we read about two who will be resurected before CHRIST'S return. In that :there is still two resurections to come.

Revelation 11:12

And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Hello Dad Ernie

Let me try to clarify. When CHRIST returns there will be a catching away to meet HIM in the air on earth of all who sleep in the dust who were killed in HIS service, who are worthy. HE knows who these are by name. We only know the ones who were mentioned in scripture. The worthy apostles (there was one who was not) Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Daniel, David, jeremiah, Isaias, moses. noah Job jude, luke . ect. Those who are alive and standing on the earth who are worthy will not taste death and also be caught up to meet the LORD in the air. They will setup the kingdom headquarters on mount zion. Many days before this happens the two witness of the LORD will have been resurected. Those who are the great multitude were never resurected and are on earth before the throne.

Since we all seem to agree that God will spare us from the wrath to come, the disagreement boils down to when His wrath is poured out. I say it all starts with the first seal judgment which begins the tribulation, therefore I believe in Pre-Trib.

The Lord returning for His bride is where He comes like a thief in the night, it will be a surprise event. His second coming at the Mount of Olives can easily be computed as 42 months after the AC sets up the abomination of desolation in the 3rd temple. Or, even 84 months after the AC establishes the false peace covenant with Israel and the many nations.

I also subscribe to Revelation 3:10, literally. Very clear to ol

I say it all starts with the LORD sending HIS two witnesses to the church: where they will be rejected just like HE was. Then they will shutup heaven so no rain falls on the earth for three and a half years. They will turn the oceans and all water supplies to blood. Send plagues of insects to eat everything. Causing trouble like hasn't been since men were on the earth or will there be any like it after.

Re 11:10 , because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

Lu 21:35

For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Jeremiah 25:30-38

30 'The Lord will roar from on high, And utter His voice from His holy habitation; He will roar mightily against His fold. He will give a shout, as those who tread the grapes, Against all the inhabitants of the earth.

31 A noise will come to the ends of the earth-- For the Lord has a controversy with the nations; He will plead His case with all flesh. He will give those who are wicked to the sword,' says the Lord."

32 Thus says the Lord of hosts: "Behold, disaster shall go forth From nation to nation, And a great whirlwind shall be raised up From the farthest parts of the earth.

33 And at that day the slain of the Lord shall be from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall become refuse on the ground.

34 "Wail, shepherds, and cry! Roll about in the ashes, You leaders of the flock! For the days of your slaughter and your dispersions are fulfilled; You shall fall like a precious vessel.

35 And the shepherds will have no way to flee, Nor the leaders of the flock to escape.

36 A voice of the cry of the shepherds, And a wailing of the leaders to the flock will be heard. For the Lord has plundered their pasture,

37 And the peaceful dwellings are cut down Because of the fierce anger of the Lord.

38 He has left His lair like the lion; For their land is desolate Because of the fierceness of the Oppressor, And because of His fierce anger."

The question was about the rapture, not the resurrection. The rapture is executed on those living, not upon those "dead in Christ."

I was answering the question of the thread, not expounding on all of the peripheral issues.

Want comfort? Here it is!

Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

No true believer in Christ will go through the Great Tribulation. That's comforting!

These scriptures must be wrong then: If the rapture, resurection, catching away: is not for those who sleep in CHRIST.

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air

And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air

All of this takes place in a flash of lightning.

1Co 15:52

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Mt 24:27

For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Can anyone else see in this scripture that the lord has just descended from heaven and come to earth?

Can anyone else see in this scripture that, Those who are going up to meet the LORD who has just come from heaven is meeting them in the air on earth?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
