Now I do have a personal interest in this because my daughter Kellie is attending a Pentecostal church.

She has it in her head that she has to tith 10% of her income. If she does do this her children will have nothing to eat.

Do you think that my grandchildren should go without food!

Do you think that GOD would be pleased with this?

I know that some Pentecostal churchs

I give what I can give. I don't belong to any church, won't join a MAN made one.

You may not like this statement however I will take it up with My Lord, when He calls me Home.

Well i have a feeling you will never find a church then because they are made up of men by that I mean people.

The good thing is your giving and as your faith grows you will give more not just to Churchs but to people in need and ministries that are truely taking the gospel to ends of the earth.

Jedi,

thats the point this church uses the tithe for the WRONG reasons....the only reason people in give at this church is because it is pounded in their head that they will get it all back 100 fold...and I'm talking money and merchandise...if you have lots of stuff then your doing it right...if not then your not giving enough...do you see the danger here?

Of course is right to give...you will never get an argument out of me over that...give give give and give some more...and you will reap what you sow...but thats not necessarily monetary or merchandise...it is Love, Peace, Comfort, and His smile on you,  what could get better than that? :il:

Its like this....you sow seeds into bad soil then your seeds dont produce. You sow seeds in the good soil they produce. Maybe we should choose wisely where our money is planted. I dont give to ministries that I feel or think will use it for selfish reasons. Such as building or adding GYM to the church or what ever or using the money to buy a slot so they can be on tv. I give to poor and to ministries that take the gospel to places around the world.

I give with a Joyful heart because I know I put my seed in good soil in which i know will grow. I know that money I gave is going to reach some who has never heard the gospel preached. I also give because I know God honors our giving and blesses us for it.

One ministry I love to give to is Gospel For Asia. I believe this is good soil. I know that they use there money to reach the masses of unsaved.

God bless,

:P Thats the words I was trying to convey seeds won't grow in bad soil.

See we agree....

Love and Blessings,

Angel

God bless,

I am not looking for a church. I have gone to a Lutheran, Catholic, Methodist,Baptism, Non-denomiation, Charismatic, and Penacostal.

I always felt like I was standing on the outside looking in, even though I was seating in a pew.

Plus I was walking in with a lot of baggage. Being a Widow with twin fatherless daughters.

The churches I did stay with for awhile, wanted my money and little to do with me or my girls.

I know one goes to church to give Honor and Glory and Praise to Our GOD.

Yet this can be done almost anywhere.

Now as far as giving to the poor. I have a small business and everytime I went to a show and did well I would give a 50 dollar bill to the preacher and ask him to give it to someone who needed it.

When I went to Pow Wows I would go out and buy 20/25 dollars worth of food. Then I would give it to the Pow Wow Committee and have them give it to a poor native.

When I went to Israel. I gave $200 to a Children's Home for the children who came in contact with nuclear dust.

There have been many more donations made on my part.

Monthly I give to Blossoming Rose. The money goes to help the Jews in Israel.

GOD has Bless Me Wonderfully!

Jesus loves a cheerful giver....

What good are tithes and offerings if they are given grudgingly?

My thoughts are if a family is struggling with barely enough money to buy food, then, the Lord would have them use, what they have, for providing for themselves first! There are other ways to give, such as tithing your time! I believe the Lord would honor that just as much as giving money.

Blessings~

-Yes, I think your daughter should tithe. The LORD's promise in Malachi is that if we tithe HE WILL POUR OUT A BLESSING WE CANNOT CONTAIN! The poorest can't afford NOT to tithe. They need God's blessing on their substance far more than those who are financially secure.

-uhhhhhhhh??LEN---IF YA GO READ THE BOOK OF MALACHI YOU WILL DISCOVER THAT THE BOOK WAS WRITTEN TO THE LYING--THIEVING--LEVITICAL PRIESTS THAT WERE ROBBING GOD & THE PEOPLE BY OFFERING LAME--SICK--DYING--DISEASED--BLEMISHED-SACRIFICES TO GOD & TELLING THE PEOPLE TO BRING 2 OR-3 BLEMISHED ANIMALS INSTEAD OF THE ONE-UNBLEMISHED--THE BEST OF THE FLOCK--THE BEST OF THE HERD---FOR THE SACRIFICES GOD REQUIRED-----

-Mal 1:6 A son honoureth [his] father, and a servant his master: if then I [be] a father, where [is] mine honour? and if I [be] a master, where [is] my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

-Mal 1:7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD [is] contemptible.

Mal 1:8 And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, [is it] not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, [is it] not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts

-Mal 1:9 And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.

-Mal 1:10 Who [is there] even among you that would shut the doors [for nought]? neither do ye kindle [fire] on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

-11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name [shall be] great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense [shall be] offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name [shall be] great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 1:12 But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD [is] polluted; and the fruit thereof, [even] his meat, [is] contemptible.

-Mal 1:13 Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness [is it]! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought [that which was] torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.

Mal 1:14 But cursed [be] the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I [am] a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name [is] dreadful among the heathen.

-One of the definitions of TITHE--IS 1-10th--IT is also "TO OWE A DEBT"-BUT IF JESUS FULFILLED ALL THE LAW---& EVEN THE LAW OF TITHING--EVERY JOT & TITTLE--HOW IS IT THAT THE CHURCH IS BOUND--REQUIRED--DEMANDED TO PAY A DEBT--TO TITHE??WHAT DEBT DID JESUS NOT FULFILL??What JOT OR TITTLE DID JESUS LEAVE UNFULFILLED??hmmmm??- :t2:

-IT IS A SHAME BUT YOU CAN "SEE"THE DESCENDANTS OF THESE LYING--THIEVING--CORRUPT PSEUDO- PRIESTS ON NATION-WIDE TV--24 HRS.OF THE DAY ROBBING GODS PEOPLE--& THEY ALL USE MALACHI-3.vs.10--TO ROB GODS PEOPLE--WHEN WILL GODS PEOPLE WAKE UP & READ GODS WORD & LEARN THAT TITHING IS UNDER THE LAW & IF YOU KEEP ONE POINT OF THE LAW{TITHING}YOU MUST KEEP ALL THE LAW---EVERY JOT & TITTLE----

WHICH NULLIFYS THE DEATH--THE UNBLEMISHED SACRIFICIAL OFFERING OF JESUS-YESHUA -THAT PAID EVERY DEBT--FULFILLED EVERY POINT OF THE LAW---EVERY JOT & TITTLE----

-Matt.5.vss.17.thru.20------

-Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come

-to destroy, but to fulfil.

-For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in

-no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

-Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall

-teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but

-whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the

-For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
