Hi,

I was just wondering if any of you guys ever heard of Gospel for Asia. This is one ministry that I whole heartedly support. If you have never heard of GFA then I recommed you go to this site and check it out and get a copy of their free book "Revolution in World Missions". It will change your perspective on reaching the lost.

This ministry is about reaching the people of the 10/40 window. This is the last frontier of taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth. GFA trains and equips native missionaries to take the gospel to their own people of their own language.

It takes well over 100,000 dollars a year to support one western missionary to take the gospel to a distant land. It only takes 1000 dollars a year to support one trained and equiped native missionary that takes the gospel deep into the 10/40. For the amount of money we spend on one western missionary we could be supporting 100 or more native missionaries a year.

Remember this is what true Christianity is all about... taking the Gospel to the Ends of the Earth.

Yes, I've heard of this kind of thing before. But the one I saw in a Christian magazine, I don't think was specializing in Asia. One concern that I have:

How do I know if this guy is preaching a sound doctrine? Is he accountable to someone? What kind of lifestyle does he lead? All these things would be important for me, before I get involved.

Their only mission and passion is to preach Jesus not some church doctrine.

This is quite commendable. But you do realize this is also agonizingly difficult? The man who hasn't been influenced by some sectarian doctrine is a rare bird indeed...

Yes I am aware of that....but you will see that this ministry is held in high regard by differant backgrounds anywhere from Baptist to Penticostals. There just isnt any label for this movement its about reaching the lost rather then competeting over church doctrine and schisms that divide the body.
