And thanks to those who are seeking the Lord on this. Neb, did you honestly believe that no one would speculate, gossip, etc. when you started this thread? It's been He Said/ He Said since the whole incident came to light and has been nothing but sensationalism. FYI - Nicky... Mr. Letterman's representative said that the extortionist had planned for it NOT to look like extortion - whatever that means.. and I don't do conspiracy - You are the one that rides that pony, my dear!!! You've got the most beautiful heart and I never even thought how the alleged extortionist's family would feel in all this... but it hurts both sides. You are absolutely right - they need prayer too. I think Jotful has the right idea - pray for this man's redemption and that he will turn his life around. My take on it is that it is pitiful and sad ... and I pray. I feel for his family - it's a terrible mess. What type of extortionist would take a 2 million check? Kind of suspicious, don't ya think? A very naive one?
