Oooh interesting. So maybe they did all fit into the ark :deadthread:. This isn't the first time this has happened, they had to admit that the brontosaurus didn't exist either.

But I'm gonna have to bust your bubbles, guys. Scientists aren't going to see this as a challenge to their beliefs at all. Like me, they are going to think this was the coolest discovery ever made . . . or they're going to wait for more evidence to confirm such a claim before they start changing the museums and books.

Agreed, right now its just an idea... but I wonder what the ramifications would be if two dinosaurs that appear at very different stages in the evolutionary time line, turned out to be juvenile and adult forms of the same species?

That would only happen if the two had been calculated to exist at two different time lines.

Well, that's interesting. I had wondered if a lot of fossils were being identified as separate species that really weren't.
