Which arch bishops and bishops were not Christian?
Most likely, none of them, at least not in the sense of being born again. They were "Christian" by virtue of what political system they were born into.

After Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman empire, we have a long and awful history of the Church being perverted into a socio-political system.

Being a Chrisitian nowadays has a different connotation for us than it did 1,000 years ago. Back then, you were "Christian" because you had to be. It was the law of the land. No one had a Bible of their own and the priests always read the Bible in Latin that no commoner could understand. The governing Christian politcal system kept people poor and dumb. That was how the government maintained control of the masses. It is why the governing authorities opposed the Bible being written in English or any other language other than the old Latin Vulgate. When the Bible became available to the common person, the government could no longer control how people thought.

Like I said, we don't have a point of reference for this in our day. This has led many people to misunderstand and misinterpret history. That is why it is so laughable when evolutionists and atheists try to paint Christian objection to Evolution as an objection to science en masse and they try to point history to justify that claim. It shows a seriously distorted understanding of history.

I did not think it was allowed to question another person's "Christianity".

I was not questioning it at all. I was stating the truth. Given the brutality of much of church during the dark ages, the anti-semitism, persecution of those who did not line up with church's edicts (such as those who immersed instead sprinkled), not to mention the creation of unbiblical teachings (praying for the dead, petitioning dead saints, paying alms for atonement), there is little evidence of genuine Christianity.

It was only after the choke hold was broken, and the Bible made readily available to all, that TRUE Christianity was able to begin to flourish.

You know, saying the same thing over and over with your fingers in your ears doesn't make what you are saying true. It just makes you look stubborn and less than intelligent.

The WHY do you keep doing it?

Because you have NO evidence. Because your "theories" can't be verified or proven false or tested. Because you are going against what is generally accepted and taught with NO alternative that even makes sense or would help the way the theories now do. Because you have nothing.

And what do you have other than insults?

prove common descent, show me the expirament in which it was re-created!

oh wait, you can't.

I'm done throwing my pearls before swine, i will pray for you, because you need it greatly.

Oh, Ok. You cannot question another person's Christianity, but you can state as a matter of fact they are not Christians.

That makes perfect sense to me.

Where were the true believers, then? Give me evidence of their passing through the so-called "dark ages".

I think you missed what I was saying. I am questioning whether or not those religious leaders were Christians. Their brutality toward others leaves no question that they were not saved or born again.

The true remnant was always there. Many of them were victims of the "church" because they opposed sprinkling and advocated for full immersion as biblical baptism. Those who tried to bring the Bible into the language of the people were heavily persecuted by the "church" Men such as Bunyan who saw that salvation could be found outside the "church" but not outside of Christ. They were imprisoned for thier faith.

Saints Cyril and Methodius

The Moravians wished a teacher who could instruct them and conduct Divine service in the Slavonic tongue. On account of their acquaintance with the language, Cyril and Methodius were chosen for their work. In preparation for it Cyril invented an alphabet and, with the help of Methodius, translated the Gospels and the necessary liturgical books into Slavonic. They went to Moravia in 863, and laboured for four and a half years. Despite their success, they were regarded by the Germans with distrust, first because they had come from Constantinople where schism was rife, and again because they held the Church services in the Slavonic language. On this account the brothers were summoned to Rome by Nicholas I, who died, however, before their arrival. His successor, Adrian II, received them kindly. Convinced of their orthodoxy, he commended their missionary activity, sanctioned the Slavonic Liturgy, and ordained Cyril and Methodius bishops.

Or, what about English translations of the Bible?

Toward the end of the seventh century, the Venerable Bede began a translation of Scripture into Old English (also called Anglo-Saxon). Aldhelm (AD 640

How about our own sin? How about we stop blaming Adam the same way he blamed eve and eve blamed the snake. I can only speak for myself but I sure needed saving and forgiveness for what I have

done- through Adam sin entered the world - the point of the geneology is to show how Christ came from the line of David and was a Jew and that he fulfilled prophecy- man is not an animal we are made in the image of God but it is because God gave man a soul not because of anything in the genome that makes him "higher" than an animal. There are people out there without the mental capacity of a chimpanzee or quadrapalegics or tiny zygotes - but it is the soul that God put in us that makes us human and precious- and responsible for our own choices - to accept God's grace or to reject it - to live as a monkey or to live unselfishly as Christ is our example- but here I am getting into soterology .

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
