So there's a basic overview to get your started. Please keep in mind that the role of science is not to convince every individual on a personal level of a given theory but instead to provide the best explanation for the evidence we have. The theory of evolution currently does that regardless of the existential discomfort of various religious individuals, if you'd like this to change you need to come up with a better theory. Run faster than evolution and the bear will gobble it up instead of your. Cheers.

Lurker, I appreciate the inks you posted; I realize you've put a lot of effort into what you believe. I read everything and I have seen and heard these things before. I take away from this that there were many, many homanids that existed at different times throughout history. It's fascinating to look into the past, no doubt about that. I don't believe that finding these things gives credence to the idea that modern man is the descendant of apes though. And, yes, I do realize that 'proof' is not the word; 'evidence' is better suited to the task. A definitive link between us and other species is not going to be found....I stand on the Bible account of how WE came into being although I do believe that untold numbers of similar species have come and gone. God simply used the template He had already made to fashion His ultimate creation and breathed into that creation a soul; the appearance of our species was sudden and the 'man like' creatures still in existence quickly disappeared. This is supported by the work of science. That speaks volumes to me as does the fact that man went from cave dweller to building civilizations in a very short period of time. Recorded history doesn't go back that far but it seems that man, unlike earlier beings, has always had a need to leave his mark, luckily for us, and the earliest signs of our kind (cave paintings) date to less than 8,000 years ago, at least as of right now. I see no conflict between this and the Bible.

I don't have them saved on my computer, I just knew what you had said was incorrect, and within a few minutes of looking around I found those. I just happened to be lucky that they all happened to be on one website, and so I didn't have to look around at different sites to collect isolated details on each individual region.

I do apologise for posting them as one long list, but the articles are all quite short, and I didn't really have much personally to add. I just wanted to point out that we do have evidence for what you said we didn't, i.e. cave paintings before 8,000 years ago.
