Most of this Islamic literature is about downgrading other faiths defending ones self, fighting a holy war and jihad. First off the Islamic laws and literature is about downgrading other faiths, etc... we actually read in the Koran "If a women disobeys you, beat her lightly." Yes the religion of Islam is hateful and evil. I do not deny that at any point. I am talking about the people in Islam I would say not by any poll or research but from what I have seen being in Islamic countries is this. about 80% of the people in Islam are normal everyday people like you and I. The big difference is two fold. One is they are indoctrinated from a young age so they know no other religion and anything they know about other religion's is skewed. Actually what they know about their own region is skewed. A large part of the Islamic populace is either illiterate or speak and read a different language then the Koran they have available. Therefore it is up to the Imam's and other religious leaders to tell them what to believe. It is a situation not like the dark ages be for Gutenberg's printing press and and the local priests would tell people what was in the Bible in Latin so that they could control their parishioners. They also associate Christianity with the west, and the west with Hollywood. So all the sin that comes out of Hollywood they think is sanctioned and supported by and embraced by Christians. The second thing is like I said before they are scared, and hopeless longing for true hope. They are like people walking around in the dark hoping for a light to go on. This light they need is Jesus. So my point is this. Pray for the light of Jesus to show to them. Pray that the Lord breaks down strong holds. Pray for missionaries to be able to get into the dark places and bring forth light! Also a definition of muslim So, "Mu-s-l-m" means "Serenely (self-submissive) Relinquisher" [or simply 'Serene Relinquisher'], having meekness and faithfulness to the Divine . Absolutely; the thought of 1.8 billion souls being lost is distressing....I don't even know how we could hope to save them. Other than prayer, of course. Did he think that his family wouldn't westernize? I think every ethnic group that has come into America should be made to assimulate and everyone should learn to speak english as it is they in whom left their native country to become a citizen of the United States which language is english. I think those who do not conform to our lanuage their loyalty is not with us but are holding on to their culture instead of embracing our culture. I believe the Muslims are a serious threat being in our country. Seemingly, it appears they have accepted our culture but it is clear that many are holding on to their culture as their loyalty lies in ther deadly religion in the land from the country they left. This seems almost to simple, but yet doesn't the gospel at first blush? Let me elaborate. I have been to an Islamic country, under Islamic law. I have seen how people act and treat each other. I have seen some small quotes from that Koran that are disturbing and I have come to this conclusion. Muslims are at heart no different then we are. They can be warm, kind, and very hospitable. But they have all one common trait. Fear. Every person who believes in Islam are deathly afraid of Allah. Not a healthy fear but a shear terror. You see according to Islam a Muslim man can live his life perfectly do all the "pillars of Islam" perfectly and never sin. When he dies if Allah had a bad day he will still be sent to hell! They have no assurance of salvation they have no hope. They can only try to obey at all cost even if it causes them to do something so horrible as this. This is not to condone the action or to say this is why it was done. The way Islam is set up you can give vent to your anger and evil and be justified. Some "Christians" have done the same. These people millions of them want to know hope and love and truth. We need to show them that, be Jesus with skin on and love them and pray for them and show them we have hope. This is what is going to change things. Not hate or fear. My heart is for Sudan. A Islamic country that has even recently crucified Christians, roasted them, and even beat a 3 year old boy to death in the name of Allah. Yet I want to reach these people. In a nutshell most Muslims are like Paul when he was still called Saul. They persecute and are violent in the name of their god, when most if the found the real God they would serve him as much or more so. I heard a story of a man who was held prisoner in Iran for being a missionary. He worshiped and praised every day out loud. One guard asked another guard why these Christians do this. The one guard happened to have heard the gospel and shared it. At that point the first guard told the second one "These Christians have something to die for" the first one said "These Christians have more then that, they have something to live for!" They both quietly converted on the spot. That is what we need to pray for, that the Muslims would find something to live for as they have plenty to die for! The issue is that they (Muslims) want to bring their severe terror of their "god" to America. They don't like the American culture, even if they live here. They don't want freedom, even if they do live here, they want Sharia law. They may not all want to kill us, but they do not speak out against such violence. They may not want to convert us by the sword, but they all consider us "infidels" and their religion says that we must be converted or die. Americans, Christian or not, must resist Islam and those who practice it by any means possible; in government, in the courts, in the schools, in the streets. Get a couple of divorces, go to R rated movies, dress like a prostitute at 16, do drugs and fornicate? That is what Muslims see of the West, and they should be critical when it comes to those things. Our main export to the Muslim world is porn which we in the US in all of our glory are the worlds leading producer of. Who are we to give them lessons on morality, this is what they see of a so called "Christian" nation. Oh yeah I didn't even get into abortion and homosexual marriage. But I don't think a person needs to completely forget what they are and where they came from. Do not forget not every aspect of the Islamic culture is evil. Family is big as well as honor and respect. My point is this, do not throw the baby out with the bathwater. I have met many Muslims I have yet to meet any terrorists among them yet they do exist. According to the article I posted they list the K.K.K. Among these terrorists groups. Should we start suspecting every white person as a terrorist? How about the environmentalist terrorists? How about the ant-abortion terrorist how about the Jewish defense league? These are all terrorists? Many of them speak English were born and raised in the States matter of fact may be 2nd or 3rd generation. Should we suspect everyone? I do not think we should. Does Islam have a dangerous undercurrent we should be concerned about YES. But should we treat them like we did the Japanese during WWII and put them in concentration camps?
