Many are watching daily, and YOU don't even realize or think about it. Whether or not you open your mouth and tell someone you are a Christian does not change the fact that YOU (yes YOU!) are being watched by someone somewhere. It may be at work, or at the social club you attend.

It may be at the ballpark where you coach youth sports or cheerleading. It could be with the neighbor next door, across the street, up the street or around the corner you greet (or ignore) daily or sometime during the week. It may be in the supermarket, commissary, family shopping store or favorite mall store you go to often. YOU are being watched by someone.....somewhere.

The greater possibility looms large that it could be within your own home, or apartment complex. Even the bank teller(s) maintaining your accounts. How about the fast food restaurants you attend during the week for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner? YOU are not alone because I too am a Christian, and all too often take my faith for granted. I don't stop to think if my actions around people always reflect the LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO lives inside of me, or the monster I was BEFORE I allowed HIM residence inside my "temple". Sometimes I stop to think if I am reflecting HIS "LIGHT" or.....my self-centered, self-righteous "neon light". Like YOU, I TOO am being watched daily.

YOU are not alone. WE are a "peculiar" people....we Christians that is. Each day that we are allowed to awaken and see the dawn of a new day is an opportunity for us to reflect our true Christian faith. If YOU really belong to JESUS CHRIST, our heavenly FATHER is changing YOU and I daily into HIS image. Each day brings about some good things and some bad into our lives, but GOD is working it ALL together for our good (Romans 8:28) to make us more and more like HIS SON. Wherever YOU and I go GOD is empowering us to touch the world for JESUS CHRIST. YOU have that power within, but you need to be yielded for HIS use anytime, anyplace.

Today, people are looking for something real. Money is not providing it for them eternally, neither are material goods, fame, or religion. People want something REAL. And you and I have it within us to share in one way or another. You DON'T have to be a preacher, evangelist, or a person in a powerful position. You don't even have to be popular. Our FATHER wants you to just be who you are....period! Some Christians think you have to be successful to reach others in need. I disagree. Our FATHER doesn't call us to be successful, HE calls us to be FAITHFUL. Success for YOU and I does not come at the cost of being unfaithful to the ONE WHO died and gave HIS life a ransom for ours. Faithfulness always comes first, and then, if it is HIS will, success will follow (Matthew 25:23).

Someone, somewhere is watching YOUR faithfulness. Are YOU hiding CHRIST behind the doors of YOUR home or church? Do YOU get involved in your community projects, clubs, volunteer groups, celebrations, or are YOU too "religious" to do so?? YOU don't change your home, community or the like by hiding YOUR true Christian faith. When YOU pray daily, do you start YOUR day by asking GOD to use you however HE likes in order to be an outreach? DO YOU get upset when our FATHER moves you into "unexpected circumstances" through your dealings with others with the opportunity to REFLECT YOUR TRUE CHRISTIAN FAITH?!! Now is the time to remember you don't always have to talk to people in "Christianese" to be effective for the LORD. People are "dying" daily to see a true Christian faith. They're tired of seeing those who "talk-the-talk", but DON'T "walk-the-walk". Is this YOU?

We Christians spend more time arguing if dancing, drinking wine, or working out at the health spa is wrong more than we do seeking methods to reaching people for CHRIST. Someone during those times may be watching YOU, and have the chance to see CHRIST reflect through you. The easiest thing to remember is to say to yourself if you would be comfortable having the LORD join YOU in the activity. Someone WILL BE watching. It could become an opportunity to "sow a good seed".

Someone is watching YOU....somewhere. Just because you are a Christian doesn't mean you won't make mistakes. It doesn't mean you cannot act silly! It doesn't mean you can't enjoy life and take chances with respect to your Christian faith. JESUS came to give YOU an abundant life! Don't be afraid to bare your feet even if you think they are ugly :t2:. You may encourage others and they will see the REALISM in YOU! Don't be afraid to fail. Don't always wear that "fake" religious smile/grin when you KNOW you're hurting inside. Let your emotions show. Go enjoy the amusement parks and beaches. You never know what our FATHER may orchestrate in such places between you and others which may bring them to the crossroad of meeting HIM! There will always be someone...somewhere watching YOU.

Now is the time to be who you really are for others to see your true Christian faith revealed through your BIG mistakes and broken dreams.....something they may be able to identify with. Through such our FATHER is able to take and make whatever HE wills, and can take whatever and whoever YOU are to make whatever and whoever YOU need to be for HIM to use to reach others in need of HIS salvation. There is not anything in YOUR life that is a "waste" that HE created. HE enables YOU to do what HE knows you can do MOST EFFECTIVELY. And it may be something somewhere for someone who is watching YOU! A real natural pleasant smile, a general conversation of encouragement, a pat on the back, a listening ear, a truthful personality, etc. You might feel like you're in the wrong place at the wrong time, then find out that our FATHER placed you there for a reason, to use you for HIS purposes. Sometimes YOUR daily life is the ONLY Bible some people will "read". We are "living Epistles".

The person who deems themself the ultimate failure (can't cook, can't wash clothes, can't clean house, can't sing, can't throw a ball, can't change a flat tire, can't, can't, CAN'T!!!) is NEVER turned away by our DADDY. Isn't that amazing?! No matter how bad YOU fail GOD will never turn HIS back on you! HE will instead restore you after repentance and hope you use that experience to strengthen others in similar situations. Do YOU think someone somewhere may come across your life who was in an identical experience and GOD now gives you the chance to help this person by reflecting your TRUE Christian faith in HIM??!!! GOD can take YOUR most horrifying failures and turn them into triumphant victories such as YOU NEVER could have imagined....and use them for others who are watching YOU to see if the Christian life is the reality they've been searching for. GOD is BIGGER than our human failures. And HE is always more ready to forgive than you are to confess. Others need to see this through YOU. No matter what your background or how deep the pain you've been through, JESUS CHRIST will be with YOU!

It does not matter if it was caused by a dysfunctional family, or by those who called themselves your friends (or a friend)...or by nothing done by you, our FATHER can make it all good no matter how ugly/messy it might be. GOD always has something better in mind. Someone is watching YOU, Christian. Seek their welfare first. Become a blessing to them. GOD will bless you in the process. People today should only have to look at YOU and I to see what JESUS is like. For better or worse, they'll draw conclusions about CHRIST from what they see in us daily. Most sinners loved being around our LORD when HE walked this earth. Most sinners today don't want to be around Christians. If you're not reflecting HIS grace and truth through yourself daily this is the reason. One way or the other they are watching YOU. Living by grace means affirming daily our unworthiness. We are deeply thankful for what we KNOW we DON'T deserve. Do others see this in YOU and want the gift of eternal life? Do they sense in YOU your own understanding of your unworthiness which is the TRUTH? It sure kills that self-righteous attitude so many sinners hate about "church-goers".

The passionate Christian must always be willing to be used by the LORD at any time, in any place, whether on the spur of the moment or planned months ahead. What's really important isn't your ABILITY; it's your AVAILABILITY. The life YOU now live is a package, a gift from GOD to YOU. You may not see everything you want in it. You may not be handsome, pretty, wealthy, tall, or talented according to the world system's standards. But if YOU take what GOD has already given you, eventually you'll find that your human package is full of surprises that GOD wants to use to chisel you more into HIS image, and be a blessing to all those who surround you. Learn to master the gifts, talents, and abilities HE has placed at your fingertips. Then let our FATHER do HIS thing in your life.

Remember.....everyday you are allowed to open your eyes and breathe the breath of life here, our FATHER awaits your visit to HIS throne of grace asking HIM to use YOU as HE deems necessary. Once you take the first step there's no turning back. GOD has given YOU HIS checkbook, added your name to HIS signature card, and said, "Get busy! Impact the world for ME. Invest in it and I'LL be right by your side through thick and thin!!" Whether YOU want to believe it or not, YOU (yes YOU!!) are impacting people all around you in all your endeavors either for or against CHRIST.

Someone...somewhere....someplace is watching YOU. Ask yourself, what do they see?

wisdom, great post! so true! Do you think that as Christians, it's more important for us to 'teach' the word to lead others to Christ, or SHOW them WHO Christ is by what we do. For instance, is it more important to go to the homeless in Los Angeles (for example) to bring them to church, teach them of Christ's love, and talk to them in that way OR is it more important to SHOW them Christ's love by giving them a warm meal, bringing them blankets, hot coffee, shoes, clothing, and a hug. :)

Hi Serv...:o

Honestly, I believe situations differ so much because of personality makeups. With that thought in mind, personally I believe one should be yielded daily to the beckon and call of the HOLY SPIRIT, and allow HIM to direct your actions.

You may do it one way today and another way tomorrow. Your question is a good one, and I'm only trying to be as honest as I can be. I believe we should submit ourselves to the LORD the minute we wake up daily and ask HIM to use us in whatever way HE sees fit to do so.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
