Dick Armey made a great point....if the Tea Party movement wasn't worrisome to the far left (and it IS the far left, not just every day Democrats) then they wouldn't be trying to sabotage that movement by would-be spy antics and dirty tricks. How pathetic they are....and they're telling the world that they are. Stupid.

I certainly agree with your point. However, I think that the republican party is just as much trying to corrupt and use the movement to its advantage, though in a different manner.

Good point; the Republicans want to associate themselves with the Tea Party movement as a way of differentiating themselves from the Democrats in the upcoming elections. I don't blame them for doing it but I don't think it's good for the grass-roots movement.

In reality, we Tea Partiers aren't falling for it. We are vetting and supporting new conservative candidates, those who will support the Constitution. The old party dogs are on the way out, from both parties, and new blood will win in the primaries. If we all have the courage to vote the vagabonds out.

So you're basically saying that if Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, or Sarah Palin were to get the nomination in 2012 that most of the tea party vote will be going third party or independent?

Steve, please don't put words in my mouth. What is happening is that new people, mostly state politicians, are being vetted and put up to run against the established incumbents. The President gets changed every 8 years max, while the House and Senate make careers and millions out of their jobs. They are the ones spitting in our faces and ignoring the Constitution. From both parties. Anyway, the Tea Party emphasis is on the House and Senate. FYI, 85% of Tea Partiers don't want Sara Palin to run for President in 2012; Mitt Romney is a RINO, Mike Huckabee has a better chance, as well as Ron Paul.

Mike Huckabee increased Arkansas' deficit by a billion and raised taxes on multiple occasions there....

I'd consider voting for Ron Paul.

My main question though... Is the tea party willing to vote for the lesser of two evils in a presidential election? Because if the republicans believe that, I can guarantee you that is the choice you will get.

It would be nice. Feasible, I don't know. Best case scenario is Ron Paul gets it. Worst case is any other republican.

You know what? I don't know. We are concentrating on the House and Senate right now. As for me, Ron Paul is a little bit too......extreme for me. No matter who is elected president, they are going to raise taxes. Whether it be Obama for another 4 years (God forbid!) or Huckabee. The Independents are the ones who will decide, do we want further socialism or do we want to follow the Constitution. Right now, today, lets concentrate on electing new Republican and Democrat politicians to break the strangle hold these career politicians have on us. The left isn't going to budge, so it's really up to Independents. Libertarians and Constitutionalists to vote for change. If we continue along the same vein of socialism and the destruction of Constitutional rule, there will be a new Revolution in America, a revolution for State's rights.

I'd be more concerned with a Revolution for State Sovereignty.

I am with the TEA Party Movement. Vote all incumbents out, start with a clean slate of properly vetted statesmen, once true Constitutionalists are in office, we should require they vote for term limits so we can limit the amount of influence the lobbyists have on Washington. Then, they need to make President Obama impotent for the remainder of his term. Hopefully he will be scorned and ridiculed the rest of his life and placed into the unenvious category of worst President in US History.

Well, praying first that he come to a radical saving, sanctifying, Holy Ghost hopping, transforming, redeeming, intimate knowledge of the Holy One . . . Jesus!

I agree on getting rid of that lot that occupies seat space in Congress right now. They're pretty much all a waste of oxygen. Glenn Beck is pushing this very thing, btw, with the '9/12' movement.

I don't agree that the President is the worst one ever though and I certainly don't want to see him relegated to the dustbin of history. He's a very intelligent guy that just hasn't had the experience of being steamrolled by the Lord yet. I have been praying for him for a year and four months now. I encourage all Americans to do the same.

then you simply have no discernment whatsoever about his agenda...or you need deliverance from the spell you are under

and I certainly don't want to see him relegated to the dustbin of history.

at this point, it's him or the USA

I'm praying for the truth to prevail. That pretty much goes against everything he stands for. I don't hate him personally but his agenda is 100% wicked in every way possible and in every policy he wants to implement...so I can't pray for that.

You simply don't KNOW what I have or not and I guaranteee you I'm not under any 'spell'. That's just being barnyard insulting.

If you can't pray for those who need it then I feel sorry for you.
