This is important for those believers that follow blindly and take what ever this man says as gospel truth since he is a "Christian" In politics being a "Christian" is politically expedient, and is often used as a simple way to simply shut up any would be detractors from the religious or otherwise "Christian" bend. The sad truth is this, they do it only because it works. Every president that I have lived with has claimed Christ. I would not say that every one has had him. Remember this, we are talking about person who has a public life, who's fruit both good and bad is a matter of public record. The word says that you shall know them by their fruit. This is discerning not judging. Wyguy is not pronouncing judgement, just discerning that he is not being Christ Like therefor not a Christian and we should not take him as such, and their fore be wise about what is coming out of his mouth, and to be praying for his true salvation. No one here is able to read anyone else's mind or heart....we need to pray for the President because we are Christians. I never said I could read his heart or his mind. I had a longer reply but it my connection killed it. We need to pray for all our leaders, no matter what level they be, be it our pastor our boss, our governor or our president. We as in Wyguy and myself are not judging the man, his heart and his relationship with the Lord, but we are judging his fruit. Not a salvation issue, but then again his salvation is not so much what I care about its his effect on our nation that I do. Yes I want all to go into the joy of the Lord in heaven, but if someone is doing things to keep people away from the Lord that then makes him enemy. Now being my leader I do pray blessings as we are called to bless and pray for our enemy's and as such I will. But do not be fooled, his heart shows darkness and that I can know. By the fruit. Whether or not he is going to heaven its between him and God for sure but as for fruit there is no good fruit so their for the tree must be a bad one. The second part of this verse is about building your house on the rock, he is building my house, (country) or rather working on it, and I would rather have it built on rock not sand, but he seems bent on building on sand! This is of my concern. The President is NOT the enemy and I believe he can be brought onto the right path if we pray for him by the thousands.
