This isn't even new, a very similar Game called Call Of Duty, Modern Warfare 2 had the exact same thing in multiplayer, playing as insurgent forces for one team. Or ARMA, ARMA II, ARMA II Operation Arrowhead... Those all had something like that, and the ARMA Series is especially That game had one part in particular (not related to that) that could actually be considered shocking and offensive, (I played through it) which I heard was removed from later versions of the game. I'm surprised that wasn't the subject of this article. (Although to be fair, that game has been out for a while now.)

This article is marginally more accurate than the townhall.com article by Kevin McCullough about Mass Effect.

So Medal of Honor, or Medal of Honor - Pacific, is not disrespectful to Germans or Japanese?

There are a host of upcoming Arabic video games, as good as any other in their quality, that depict NATO troops as the baddies.

 No. The difference between the average American Developer and the Average Canadian Developer is a night and day difference. Canadian Developers, save for a few, do not nearly have the quality in production that American ones do.

I can safely say that I know of no games developed in the Middle East (Turkey being an exception, for a couple developers, but they do not fit the theme mentioned) that come close to the average buggy crashing semi-playable games released by Canadian Developers that I love.

hmmm, i think i agree with MG, If you don't want your kid playing this, don't buy it. There are ratings for a reason you know. and if you want to buy if for your kid, then great. The odds of actually having a teenage do exactly that is not very high, if at all existing. If a teenager is violent, it is probably not from video games, i can tell you that because he probably grew up in a messed up house with bad parents who probably beat him and used video games to rid of him. and censorship is no way to go about things.

I'm glad someone sees the main problem here. Games don't make messed up kids; that would be messed up parents. And censorship is unamerican.

All right, someone is finally making somewhat of a mention of the disease.

Guess it's a start.

That's not a disease.

I thought this is what the main point of the thread was supposed to be.

It's about the disrespect and virtual backstabbing of our troops who are risking their lives in a very real situation they are currently facing.

What does the Taliban have to do with being a bad parent?
