First, he claimed that there is no ratings decline for his Fox News show, and then he claimed that the weather was to blame for his 33% drop in viewership. However by attracting only 1.7 million viewers on Friday, Beck hit a new all time low which is now 50% off of his peak audience of 3.4 million. On Friday, Beck pulled an all time low of 1.776 million viewers, and while this is good enough to handily win his time slot, this marked a new low which has quickly turned into a free fall since January. At the close of 2009, Beck was still averaging 3 million total viewers a day. At his peak, Beck could draw 3.4 million plus viewers a day. There was talk of him eventually supplanting cable news king Bill O

I know that the Spirit made my spirit unsettled which caused me to stop watching him months ago. Just my thoughts.

What's left? The muslims? I can't see any of them embracing Mormon views, that's for sure. I DO believe that Beck is a patriot though and I'm curious as to why his recent rally didn't seem to boost his standing in the eyes of the average American. Altho a Mormon & a follower of polygamist Joseph Smith Jr. of Sharon, Vermont - an out & out cultist - I simply deduct Beck's references to Mormonism and underscore his conservative politics which is much more preferable a thousand-to-one over the current coterie of tax-and-spend socialists intent on bankrupting the United States socially, militarily and religiously. SARAH PALIN for President 2012! Beck is fast becoming an annoying noise in the background. If you're unable to 'deduct' the religious views (or lack thereof) of President Obama, how is it possible to do so with this man? Btw, a Mormon CAN'T be a conservative for the obvious reason; they follow an extreme doctine. Oh....and Sarah Palin won't be on the 2012 ticket, Arthur. His show was rerunning of most of his 'founding fathers Fridays' and the judge had Alveda King on Friday talking about the real civil rights movement. He is a fierce pro-american, but too often he appears to pander for ratings. I think the beginning of the end for him was the Katie Couric interview. He made glaring gaffs in that interview including saying that "McCain would have been a worse president than Obama." He then started saying things like comparing those that question Obama's birth status with 9/11 truthers. Really... was it a good idea for him to compare many of his audience (who just want to see a birth certificate) with people who believe that the US Gov't sanctioned 9/11? Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. I don't think that Beck is considered 'level-headed" enough to most conservatives. He is respected for several reasons (ferocious research, pro-american)...but he's also liable to say some off-the-wall things that most conservatives would rather not be associated with. He's a mainstream Michael Savage.

Glenn said that as long as something doesn't break his bones or pick his pocket, he wasn't interested. Conservative Christians, his main supporters, didn't like that very much... He's a mainstream Michael Savage. He didn't help his cause when he told O'reilly that he didn't think gay marriage was worth talking about or was an important enough issue. Something like that, anyway. That's just too scarry, wyguy! Edited September 12, 2010 by Parker1
