Good to see you on the chat, too!  It was so good to see a familiar name.  (NB:  To do in 2003 ~ Gotta get the hang of the chatboard!)

Thanks for your prayers, Tim.  It's good to know there's others who are prepared to pray for me and those I love.  That is awesome.  I surely will let you know how it goes.  I want to see my brother, and have the chance to talk with him, ~ it's hard when the rest of our families don't 'walk together' because we cannot agree.

Hello Again, Guys

Can any of you advise me how to go about witnessing the truth to somebody in the 'oneness' doctrine?  Do you quote their beliefs then refute them with truth?  Do you not mention their doctrine at all and give them the truth?  How do you bring it up?  Bottom line:  How could I bring this up with my brother who I don't see on a regular basis?  A letter?

One of the things you could do is ask him to fully review the website I gave you and ask for his thoughts on it.  You know your brother ways, and could probably get a better feel for what his thoughts are than an outsider would.

Present it to him in love, but prayerfully beforehand.  Keep in mind, you are dealing with "doctrines of demons" and the Enemy is not going to lift the smoke clouds from your brother's spiritual mind and invite you in.  

Personally, I'm a firm believer in something I learned years ago from Josh McDowell's book, "Evidence That Demands a Verdict"....the BEST defense is a solid knowledge of the other person's OFFENSE.  You read and copy the info you've been provided with, asking our FATHER's leading, and for an open door when you think you're ready.  It's not going to be easy.  I know from first hand experience (ex-cultist).  But with GOD's help and our prayers you can have success presenting the truths your brother needs to know.  From there it is up to him, but be patient and understanding with him.

Excuse me, but I think your going a bit overboard with the doctrines of demons stuff.  "Oneness" has doctrinal error, but so do most other denominations.
