State question concerning the official language in the state of Oklahoma looks like will be English. We can use some Native American language, but in official state actions English must be used. The legislators will define what official state actions means. Another state question concerning how our courts decide cases. It forbids them from using international law to decide cases. It also forbids them from using sharia law to decide cases and spells out where sharia law comes from. Another State question forbids any person or company to be forced to purchase any insurance. These are Oklahoma Constitutional changes. With more than half the voting places counted it looks like these will pass. We had the NEA come into our state and try and get a change in the Constitution as to how we fund our schools as to have to match the averages of bordering states to fund our schools. It was soundly defeated. We do not want to let some outside force to dictate how we spend our money. Almost all the state races went to either Republicans or Democrats that are on the conservitive side of politics. It's been a good day here politically. We've also passed a resolution informing the Federal Government that we, the State of Oklahoma, will not recognize any rulings from the Federal Government that the constitution does not specifically give them the authority to dictate. We'll see how that goes. We seem to be getting in a really serious rebellious mood here.

We as a state voted that we cannot be forced to participate in obamacare. Meanwhile, another arizona law is headed for the supreme court tomorrow. And the 9th circuit is currently hearing sb1070 (our anti illegal immigrant law).

We unseated a lousy lefty school baord and gave the power to a pack of conservatives. Meanwhile, the local county commissioners have been totaly bankrupted and replaced by a conservative all star panel. Now we can build the local waste to energy plant that will help us with our local trash problem. We will also alleviate the local regulatory problem. Welcome back business.
