The Examination cannot be done except the Lord perform it: This gets rid of religion...

Acts 15:8-10

8 So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, 9 and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

------------------------God must be first-------------------------------It also demands this recognition- Is there any other importance?

Deut 4:39

39 Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.

The Why of examination: This gets rid of doubt...

------------------------To align yourself with His Will--------2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. NKJV

------------------------Relationship of dependence----------Ps 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. NKJV

I believe this to be the evidence of God within us that is stated here

Rom 8:15-17

15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.NKJV

Notice the relationship that is present ...in your quiet place do you cry out to The Father? In the awareness of what The Son has caused to be possible... Does He carry you through these examinations throughout your day?

It is not complicated you will struggle day to day to the examination of yourself with His Word as to obedience, purpose, thoughts, and a separation with the things of the world
