Someone gave me a form of "homework" from church the other day. They want me to go through the Scripture and highlight/memorize the verses that state how God views me. Problem is, I tried to do a search through Bible Gateway and I guess I keep asking the wrong question because I'm not getting the verses I need. I know they are there, but I can't find them. Can someone put the verses up so I can print them out? I would really appreciate it. This has a lot to do with the problems I'm having and I guess I really need to see how God views me so I can learn how to trust Him more. Thanks, a. God views you as: A Priest (1 Peter 2:9) His child (John 1:12, Ephesians 1:5) A citizen of Heaven (Philippians 3:20) Sanctified (1 Corinthians 1:2) A new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) Reconciled to Him (2 Corinthians 5:19) Justified (Galatians 2:16) Chosen (Ephesians 1:4) Redeemed (Ephesians 1:7) Raised and seated in the Heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6) Forgiven (Ephesians 4:32) An heir of God (Romans 8:17) Holy (Hebrews 10:10, 13:12) Righteous (Romans 3:22) Perfect (Hebrews 10:14) A saint (Philippians 4:21-22, 1 Corinthians 1:2) An ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20) And here is what you have: Eternal life (Romans 6:23) No condemnation (Romans 8:1) No separation from God's love (Romans 8:39) Grace (1 Corinthians 1:14) Sure hope of resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:22) Peace (Philippians 4:7) A Heavenly prize (Philippians 3:14) A promise of life (2 Timothy 1:1) Salvation (2 Timothy 3:15) Hope (1 Thessalonians 1:3) A promise of answered prayer (John 14:14) The Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17) Continual strength (John 15:5) Joy (John 16:22) Power to endure hardship (Philippians 4:13) Hope that helps!
