Guest
(Mr. Marcus is Black) Just when we think the liberal media's hypocrisy could not be more blatant, they kick it to the next level. They have obviously abandoned any pretense of fair and honest reporting. OK, we get it. Their template is

Yes, black people suffered in the past and yes, it was abhorrent. But becoming a racist yourself won't right anything. Kudos to Mr. Lloyd for speaking his mind as all Americans have the right to do. I wish all people (regardless of race) would do the same and not allow the media or any government official do their thinking for them. Over the years I come to realize that there are those (specially public figures) calling others raciest, when they seem to be more of a raciest themselves. I agree with MorningGlory, yes this country has done some terrible things in the past to many races, including the white race. Yet, as long as there are those that continue to live in the past and not allowing the past to be buried, we won't be able to improve as we advance into the future. I still can't forget Juan Williams a black reporter being fired by NPR because of his connections to Fox News.
Guest yod
A study of the national socialists in 1930s Germany show that their racist ideology was spread by first playing the victim. The nazis first had to convince Germans that they themselves were being victimized by Jews in order to get them to do his dirty work. Dividing people keeps them fighting each other. That way they don't notice what is being done to them by a dictator until it's too late, nor do they have unified strength remaining to oppose totalitarian fascists once they figure it out. Our present fuehrer (leader) knows this game quite well....and taught it in classes to ACORN as a community organizer (before he claimed to have no connection to them) Our media is either in collusion with him (and this is a proven fact with NBC) or they are too stupid to realize they are being played. Either way, we the citizens must not accept another man's offense. We must not allow them to divide us over racial, economic, social, political, or other artificial lines. We are Americans. Period. Well, I'm agreeing right back at you, O.Z.; those who have their eyes on the road behind them can't see what's ahead of them. Racism is dead and mummified but somehow just keeps on sitting there right in the middle of the public discourse. Creepy.
