Now we got two bikers and both fenemine, both feninamine, both ladies. :oww:

Bad biker, does that mean you are a biker who is bad, or does it mean you ride a bike badly. Our Traveller rides a bike and she's a peach of a lady. Aint nary a pie throwed at Trav. If Gary throwed a pie at ya, means he must like ya. :t2:

Great thoughts Lady C!

As well, how about "Lord if I am wrong, please show me".

Guest LindaInChrist

Here is a spiritual principle I learned just by being in ministry:

God will never speak through you what He isn't speaking to you. In other words, carefully and prayerfully consider everything you may be thinking of speaking to another in the light of Father speaking to you personally first. When we do this, we are much more likely to be quick to hear but slow to speak and slow to wrath. Sometimes when we speak or write, anger comes across because the words we use are like little vessels housing the spirit of the one who uses them. We are all pure in spirit because we are joined to the Lord but we still have the spirit of our mind that needs to be renewed. The Word that flows from rest is quicker and sharper than any two edged sword because it divides between the eternal spirit in the born again believer and the motives and attitudes of the heart. Motive and attitude has a lot to do with how things come across. I always ask myself, "Why are you thinking about posting a reply?" If I cannot answer purely, with a good conscience, that I am out to totally edify someone else, I refrain from posting because there will be an improper motive or attitude attached to my post and that will be discerned and the post rejected. I have met people who were offended at something I said and it wasn't even said to them. Their offense had a root within themselves and when I got to know them personally, that root was bared and the ax laid to it. Even still, we have all been invited to the table of the Lord and we are to use good manners at the table. Throwing the food is not proper etiquette but the Head of the table is the One who will take care of that. I like what one poster said about allowing others to grow and giving Father God the opportunity to mature them (that is a paraphrase of those wedding vows). That is the way it should be.

In Christ,

Linda
