Hon,

Let's make this real simple. God is Spirit. Spirit is not seen with HUMAN eyes. Spirit is invisiable. We have spirits but we can't see them.

We're not allowed to see into the spirit realm either.

Jesus, on the other hand, was a man. He was also unique because though he was man, he was FILLED with the Spirit of His Father, *(who's invisible).

As far as other's seeing God, they saw "manifestations" of God, (His glory...or shining, glorious light; a burning bush, et al).

To see the actual "face" of God...hmmmm....God is Spirit. Could be God the Father has a real body but it's SPIRIT that is God, not the packaging the Spirit comes in.

Angels have also manifested God's Spirit, coming as His Ambassadors bringing messages and warnings to the inhabitants to the earth.

We can't see with our eyes a spirit *(ours or God, the Father) but the spirit is very real.

We can't see "germs" but under a microscope, most can be seen.

So, likewise...someday we will have eyes to see into the spirit realm. For now, no.

Look again at the wording, seen God at ANYTIME.ANYTIME tells me if Jesus is God then when he was on Earth he was God and ANYTIME would come into play.Man would never see God on earth at ANYTIME.Jesus would not be God because thousands seen him.....think about it.Jesus himself said God is a spirit <John4:23>and those worshiping God must worship God in spirit and truth.

Jesus also said a spirit has no flesh and bones Luke 24:39.Jesus said God is a Spirit not a human but a spirit and if man put his own theory and goes by his theory thats adding to the "scrolls"

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Well the full import of the word 'seen'...can properly be used in the sense of discern...and to that extent we would understand that no person has ever discerned G-d...or 'sussed Him out'.

When the Son talks of G-d the Father as being Spirit what I understand is that any pre-messianic manifestations of the presence and person of G-d have been the Son of G-d and not the Father...and the inkling we get is that Jesus the Son of G-d who is Himself fully G-d and One with the Father...will one day present us spotless and blameless before the Father who no man seen.

So both explanations have served me well enough over the years...but one thing I know 100% is that Jesus is fully G-d...and to try and prove He isn't or that the Bible has made some slip ups and contradicted itself is a totally futile exercise...as I have mentioned before there are a number of sites on the web that have hundreds of questions of a similar ilk to yours...but they wrestle with Scripture in such a way that they will shipwreck themselves on the rocks of disbelief...and trying to prove themselves wise they will be seen as very foolish.

"....for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. "

The best anology I have ever heard of this concept is a story told by a preacher. He put it this way. A man was studying ant colonies, and was realy into their work, and behaviour. They of course had wars, and many other problems they had to face in the way of obstacles to their projected object of providing for the welfare of the colony at all times. Storing food, warrior training etc. Due to the fact that his colonies were in a confined area he was able to observe all of their activities at the same time. Of course he was taking notes, which he seperated into two groups. No 1 group was the beneficial to their lives, and the 2nd group was determental to their peacful accomplishments of maintaining their lives. He observed that these ant colonies would be able to accomplish all with total peace if they would simply change certain areas of their reactions to each other, and share the resources that were available, of which there was enough for all. His final decision was that the only way that he could help them to accomplish this would be to become, an ant go and live with them, and show them the better way, and make it possible for them to choose to follow the old ways, or follow him in the new way.

This is a simple analogy that can't possibly take into account all the issues of this life that we have to deal with, but I think it is a good thought provoking idea that merits our thinking about.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
