The 'state' ?  Hardly matters, does it. 

Scripture ? What is written ?

In various places notice:

a man who works 1 hour is payed the same as a man who works all day (8 hours or more?) .

one man can prophesy,  one can do miracles,  one can teach,  one can comfort and edify, console, 

all (no matter their resources or savings)  are supposed to show extravagant hospitality even to strangers,

some can heal others,   others can cast out demons ,  

all (no matter who in the body) are continually FULL OF JOY, PEACE and RIGHTEOUSNESS DAILY, every day, day after day.....

those with a lot are commanded to share with those with a need (food, clothes, place to sleep) ,

everyone's supposed to work diligently, EVEN SLAVES,  as working for JESUS , and without complaining,

everyone's supposed to seek what's best for others, even before their own needs, and not to even think about their own needs.....  ("the gentiles worry....." BUT the HEAVENLY FATHER KNOWS ....... (what HIS children need) and the HEAVENLY FATHER PROVIDES all that is "needed"(food, clothes, peaceful sleep) .....

 

There's a lot of variety in YHWH'S PEOPLE,  not much equality.....  OT and NT.   There's strong and weak,  and the strong are supposed to help the weak, NOT cause them to stumble.... 

The poor, especially widows and orphans,  are not "EQUAL" to anyone else,  yet the ecclesia (believers) are commanded many times to care for them, to watch out for them, as well as for traveling brethren, and strangers....

The sick ?  They're supposed to be cared for BY THE ecclesia,  not by some isolated commercial corporate or governmental machinery ....    and visited frequently by family and brethren (and not living by themselves alone in an empty house or apt)   ---- (has everybody's memory failed, or is so young,  the large nuclear family is forgotten ?!?! where everyone helps one another in the family, every day.... there's no big worry, there's no worry at all,  if one or several get sick or have an accident or are out of work for a while .....  )

"equality"  ?   .... not sure how that was or is in the op.....  and don't care how it is in the pagan society..... (yes, including the usa).....   

YHWH'S WORD ,    not equality,   no,  

rather super-gracious extravagant supply for people who don't deserve it - including eternal life and immeasurable spiritual blessing and daily provision to all , everyone, who actively trusts in and relies on YHWH ......

equality ?    ---- Y'SHUA said to live self-sacrificially , daily, by faith, trusting, generously

not collecting the world's goods, and certainly putting no confidence at all in the flesh or the world or the things of the world .....

Yes, indeed,  YHWH'S WORD (SCRIPTURE) is quite different than man's ways.   LIFE instead of death.  Healing, instead of sickness and harming.....    sharing freely instead of grasping or clinging greedily .....  TRUTH instead of deceptions.....   no secrets.....  (everything [hidden] is revealed.  everything.)

? Please clarify / verify as I didn't(ever, no never) think you thought this way ..... like some from the pulpit -- they will preach against running red lights,  and so forth,

but will not warn about the danger of suffering YHWH'S WRATH for permitting or approving of perversion and abortion.

In underground secret assemblies in china, for good example of truth in Y'SHUA,  they permit neither. (and are subject to arrest and execution daily ---- "like sheep we are slaughtered daily"... ) ...
