I'm sorry God Man, but I just don't buy this. The US was around long before Israel was reformed. Not only that but the biblical "nation" of Israel is not the same as the country Israel. This was hotly debated in one of the threads a while back.

I missed that debate. Too bad. However, the fact that it was debated doesn't mean that the land in Israel is not identified with the people of Isreal. If you follow the pattern in the Old Testament you will see that God first called Abraham, the father of the faithful - Jews and Gentile believers alike - and then called him into the good land to be an inheritance for him and his children. Therefore, God's people - the Jews, Israel - are identified with the land. You cannot separate the two. God's hand is over both the people of Israel and the land of Israel.

I do decry the Genocide, but yet it is not our job to invade a country and "keep the peace" we tried that in Bosnia and now both ethnic groups hate us. I do believe it was wrong to sacrifice American lives, especially when it had nothing to do with the security of the US. The Constitution clearly states what the military is to be used for. If you feel so strongly, start a private organization and head overseas and go defend those people, take volunteers and raise private money.

It is diingenuous to ask US soldiers who swore an oath to defend the US to defend someone else.

"But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" Jesus replied, "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a priest was going down that road; and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was; and when he saw him, he had compassion, and went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; then he set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, 'Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.' Which of these three, do you think, proved neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?" He said, "The one who showed mercy on him." And Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."" (Luke 10:29-37)

"A Psalm of Solomon. Give the king thy justice, O God, and thy righteousness to the royal son!...May he defend the cause of the poor of the people, give deliverance to the needy, and crush the oppressor!" (Psalm 72:1,4, emphasis mine.)

"learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow." (Isa. 1:17 - God's commandment to His people)

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God." (Matt. 5:9)

"And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace." (James 3:18)

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." (Eccl. 3:1-8)

Steff I admire your perspective and the input and research you have given to your posts. Though I don't agree with 100% of what you said I agree with the thoughts that we (as individuals and we as a country) need to give to the way we get involved in so many trivial things.

I don't think many people really have a clue. A clue to what they believe and a clue to what they should believe. "Going with the flow", "Status-quo". What ever happend to "Narrow is the way"? Oh yeah, it's narrow!

Can America Bring Peace to the World? Of course not and who do we think we are to even think we can. One of my favorite sayings is "With God all things are possible". That is if God wants it that way, not necessarily if we want it that way.

One more thing and I'm done for now. God-man, nothing personal here but how about stepping down from your seat in the heavenlies and join us here in the trenches. Pick up "His" sword and hit the highways and biways. Join the battle, the here and now. That is what He wants. Yes He has prepared a place for us. But he will come and until then "hit the dirt".

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
