----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The controversy surrounding dihydrogen monoxide has never been more widely debated, and the goal of this site is to provide an unbiased data clearinghouse and a forum for public discussion.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is Dihydrogen Monoxide?

The dangers, uses and potential threats posed by this chemical, Dihydrogen Monoxide, are widespread, and some feel, terrifying. Here is just a small taste of what Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is:

  • Some call Dihydrogen Monoxide the "Invisible Killer"
  • Others think dihydrogen monoxide should be Banned
  • Dihydrogen Monoxide is linked to gun violence
  • Dihydrogen monoxide was found at every recent school shooting
  • Athletes use DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE, or DHMO, to enhance performance
  • Dihydrogen Monoxide has been found in our rivers, lakes, oceans and streams
  • Dihydrogen Monoxide is a major component of acid rain
  • Thousands die each year after inhaling dihydrogen monoxide
  • Dihydrogen Monoxide can be deadly

    The Truth about DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE

Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is perhaps the single most prevalent of all chemicals that can be dangerous to human life. Despite this truth, most people are not unduly concerned about the dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide. Governments, civic leaders, corporations, military organizations, and citizens in every walk of life seem to either be ignorant of or shrug off the truth about Dihydrogen Monoxide as not being applicable to them. This concerns us.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BAN DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE - THE INVISIBLE KILLER!

Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and kills uncounted thousands of people every year.

What are the dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide?

Most of these deaths are caused by accidental inhalation of DHMO, but the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide do not end there. Prolonged exposure to its solid form causes severe tissue damage. Symptoms of DHMO ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance. For those who have become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death.

    Dihydrogen Monoxide Facts

    Dihydrogen monoxide:
    • is also known as hydric acid, and is the major component of acid rain.
    • contributes to the Greenhouse Effect.
    • may cause severe burns.
    • contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape.
    • accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals.
    • may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes.
    • has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients.

    Dihydrogen Monoxide Alerts

    Contamination is reaching epidemic proportions!

Quantities of dihydrogen monoxide have been found in almost every stream, lake, and reservoir in America today. But the pollution is global, and the contaminant has even been found in Antarctic ice. In the midwest alone DHMO has caused millions of dollars of property damage.

    Dihydrogen Monoxide Uses

Despite the danger, dihydrogen monoxide is often used:

[*]as an industrial solvent and coolant.

    [*]in nuclear power plants.

    [*]in the production of styrofoam.

    [*]as a fire retardant.

[*]in many forms of cruel animal research.

[*]in the distribution of pesticides. Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this chemical.

[*]as an additive in certain junk-foods and other food products.

Stop the horror - Ban Dihydrogen Monoxide

Companies dump waste DHMO into rivers and the ocean, and nothing can be done to stop them because this practice is still legal. The impact on wildlife is extreme, and we cannot afford to ignore it any longer!

    THE HORROR MUST BE STOPPED!

The American government has refused to ban the production, distribution, or use of this damaging chemical due to its importance to the economic health of this nation. In fact, the navy and other military organizations are conducting experiments with DHMO, and designing multi-billion dollar devices to control and utilize it during warfare situations. Hundreds of military research facilities receive tons of it through a highly sophisticated underground distribution network. Many store large quantities for later use.

    IT'S NOT TOO LATE!

Act NOW to prevent further contamination. Find out more about this dangerous chemical. What you don't know CAN hurt you and others throughout the world.

    Visit DHMO.org

Is it any wonder that people are skeptical after reading all of that slanted, anti-DHMO propaganda? It's not that the above facts are not entirely true. We object to the tone and tactics, not to the message necessarily.

We invite you to visit DHMO.org to find out the truth about Dihydrogen Monoxide. Please take the time to visit now, or in the near future. You'll be glad you did.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And for those haven't figured this out yet . . .

"Dihydrogen monoxide" is a molecule made of 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom . . .

    Otherwise known as H2O . . .

    Most commonly called WATER!

    Gotcha!!

I was a victim of this once...almost died from getting this in my lungs while swimming. It's horrible!

I'm against the proliferation of this horrible chemical. I am currently in Florida where they have just suffered a huge amount of this in the last 6 weeks. Four major waves of it have left devastating results.

All winter long here in the NW we are inundated with this stuff. Makes living here unbarable sometimes.

Actually, I will take credit for inventing this one, many many years ago. Got a bunch of Doctors and Engineers and 'envirogeeks' to sign my petition long before there was an internet.

Guess I should have copyrighted it.......
