Or a specific group (Baptist, Catholic, Mormons, etc.)? Off the top of my head, I would say when Constantine christianized the Roman Empire in 324 AD. Overnight, the church went from underground, being persecuted to being the "in crowd" with all the political power. Martin Luther and the Reformation was a big hour, too. I think the finest hour is yet to come, when the Groom calls for His Bride. Other than that, I think the finest hour is any time a church holds fast in the face of persecution. Which was Israel's finest hour? Prosperity under King Solomon or surving exile in Babylon?

Mark Im sorry. I know you dont like to hear that. I dont mean that mormons are bad people or anything like that, but their religious beliefs do not include the core salvationally important beliefs. We can discuss this if you wish in another thread.

I see the church under persecution as having the best faith because it is true, tested, strong. A church under persecution doesnt merely survive. It reflects the glory of the Lord stronger and brighter than the "prosperous" churches of the western world.

None of us are perfect though..Christian or not, we all fall short. Church's finest hour....it has yet to come.

Which was Israel's finest hour? Prosperity under King Solomon or surving exile in Babylon? What was Christ's finest hour? Most secularists would call it the worlds biggest defeat, but they would be wrong because it was Histories finest victory. I believe you suffer my Myopia. You've got way too much secular humanism in your Christianity. You'd do well to take a course in Christian Theology from a Bible Believing Christian college. By the way, Mormons are not Christians. They believe that Christ is a Created being just like you and I only perfect. That viewpoint is wrong. He is the Incarnate God of the Jewish and Christian Faiths.
