How many people can never vote for Obama because he is evil.... as shown by his support of abortion?

I can never vote for Obama for many reasons.

How many of those same people plan on voting for Romney?

I can't bring myself to vote for him either.

Obama is absolutely correct and justified in his views, and I agree with them wholly. Dedicated followers of Jesus Christ DO differ in their opinions on abortion...and even marriage...Just as they do on 'salvation' and 'baptism' and 'faith'....far more IMPORTANT issues.

And neither party has shown any real seriousness in legislating an end to abortion: Republicans continue to defend abortion practioners' right to practice their legal 'businesses' without government interference. Democrats defend the right of women to choose for themselves, whether to abort or not, without government interference into their own bodies and private healthcare decisions.

Both parties forget that to provide an abortion or consent to an abortion are ALWAYS and ULTIMATELY have and will always be indvidual choices...that will NEVER be stopped by any government or any government regulation.

To abort or not abort is a conscience decision best left between God and individual.....

Just as whether to marry or not...or divorce or not...is a conscience decision best left between God and individual...

Just like whether to own a gun or not own a gun is a conscience decision best left between God and the individual.

------------------

Anyone trying to peg Obama as somehow being 'anti-marriage' is ridiculous....(and I'm being kind)

Obama's stellar and impeccable performance as a committed father and married husband have been without reproach...even by those whose job it is to dig up 'dirt' against public figures...and malign them.

That Obama defends 'marriage' is public for all the world to see...not in what he says or does not say...but in what HE DOES.... in that he LIVES out his committed and loving marriage to his wife and children daily...despite living in the fishbowl of Washington.

That Obama, as do I and many other dedicated followers of Jesus Christ, also recognize those of same sex relationships can, do, and ALSO demonstrate the same love commitment to their partners and children...for lifetimes...as do 'married' heteosexual Christan Church Married Couples is ALSO without question....and denies reality and fact.

The proof is in the pudding.

It is not 'theory' or 'doctrine' that makes something 'true'....On the contrary, It is in what experience and action teaches us that makes God's revelation 'true'.

_______________

Ironically, those who generally 'defend' traditional marriage as being between 'one-man and one-woman' are the LEAST in society to actually commit to and practice such marriages 'one-man-one-woman' for themselves....and the most likley to engage in adultery.

Evangelical Christians continue to have the most dismal of records and the most divorces among any group that names themselves "Christian".

Even Athesists and Jews and Catholics fare better in practice when it comes to commitment in marriage and fewer divorces.

St Paul was quick to note such hypocrisy some 2000 years ago in his letter to the Romans when he wrote (my prarphrase) that heathens who keep God's law because of their natural inclinations to do so will fare better that those enlightened Christians or Jews who do not, on the day of Judgement.

(...If anyone needs a Biblical citation from Romans...just ask...)

----------------

All that said...

Whether one aborts or not, or has a successful marriage or not, or divorces or not, or 'sins' in any way has never been nor ever will be a matter of political party nor political stance and never will be.

One will act Christ-like when he or she is willing to follow Christ PERSONALLY to their own private CROSS...without being concerned with or concerned for the 'other guy' and his cross.

That begins with:

-not looking at another person as a sex object...

-not engaging in adulterous relationships...(even if a court 'legally' grants you a 'divorce')

-not remarrying after ANY divorce...

-not claiming to be a defender of the 'life' of the 'unborn' without also and equally being a defender of 'life' of those already born....especially if they don't speak your same language or do not share your same citizenship...

----

Can you be a defender of 'marriage' yet be a divorcee remarried in and adulterous relationship'? Not according to Christ.

Can you be a defender of 'life' yet advocate war Christians in other nations or expect to exonerated by Jesus on the Day of Judgement if you kill a neighbor without purpose and claim the 'castle doctrine' or 'sel defense'? Not according to Jesus Christ.

Can you defend 'traditional marriage' without acknowledging that for those in Christ there is no gender? And that as the 'Bride of Christ' we are male and female? Homosexual and Straight? Gendered and Transgendered? Not according to Jesus Christ...

-------------------------

If ANYONE is advocating a 'Christian' of 'Biblical' defense of marriage, then let him address the real root of the problem and advocate a legalized BAN on DIVORCE and REMARRIAGE! PERIOD!

Just as Jesus Himself Taught!

This is one of the most appauling posts I have read from any professing Christian. Anyone that defends legalized abortion shares in the guilt of each and every baby who is murdered by abortion. God didn't place his church in this world to be neutral when it comes to whether or not to support murder of innocent children? The only reason why some so-called Christians defend abortion and homosexuality is because they don't hold to the Bible. You can't believe the Bible is the Word of God and support these things. Obama is wrong on this and nearly every position he holds. I would also point out that Obama is so wicked, he even opposed legislation that would allow doctors to administer basic care to a baby who had survived a late term abortion. He would have them left on a table to die. I am sorry, but I don't believe any Christian can support abortion and gay marriage, and if they do, and they fully understand what abortion is, and God's position on homosexuality, I don't believe they are really saved. Go take a look at pictures of "the product of conception." You will find arms, legs, feet, a head, etc." Watch "Silent Scream," and watch a baby being murdered. No Christian could support this.

The difference between this and divorce is that those who get a divorce are adults and able to make the decision to go their separate ways. I am perfectly fine with outlawing divorce and re-marriage, saving for the case of fornication.

I'm curious.

How many people can never vote for Obama because he is evil.... as shown by his support of abortion?

How many of those same people plan on voting for Romney?

You guys do realize that as the Governor of MA Romney signed a law which covered abortions in state subsidized health care plans?

We have two men running for President. One, Barack Hussein Obama, not only supports abortion, but infanticide. The other candidate says that he is pro-life. There are no other candidates with a chance of winning, so I am going to have to take the word of the man who says he is pro-life today and vote for him. Mitt Romney will get my vote, because Obama is evil. My hope is that Romney will do the right thing now, if for no other reason than to appease his base. I don't care why he does the right thing, so long as he doesn't support legalized abortion as President.

By the way, I am tired of this stupid argument that Republicans haven't done anything to ban abortion in all these years. There is only one way to overturn abortion. We need a clear majority on the Supreme Court to overturne Roe vs Wade, and we haven't had the ability to get anyone on the court we wanted. Look at Robert Bork, and what happened there. If we had had nothing but Republicans making nominations to the court going back to Reagan, I believe Roe vs Wade would be nothing more than a tragic memory in this nation's history.

I don't believe that there are any Christians at Worthy who support abortion.

A few of us just realize neither party will do anything to end abortion.

That may be partially true. But when they vote for and defend those who openly advocate positions which clearly violate biblical principals and laws, they are supporting such. Where is the defense of that?

Yep. You have one guy who says he's against abortion and "gay rights", but may not be, and another who's not only for these things, but actively promotes them. Why in the name of all that's holy should any Christian support the latter? All I can figure is they've weighed his hate for the unborn and his love for unnatural sex against what he can promise for these Christians. Doing so, however, they've aligned themselves with a very evil man, and so believe God will turn a blind eye to this demonic alliance. That's plain scary.

But as I said, even though there's more of these Christians than there are of us ... we're still called to stand against the encroaching darkness.

Come, Lord Jesus. Come.

Not true when I have to subsidize your decision. You want birth control? Use a condom. Take the pill. Don't have sex out of wedlock. But don't use abortion as a form of birth control. By the way, what is the race of the majority of women who have abortions? And why was abortion advocated by Planned Parenthood in the first place?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
