Bear Dreams

Ok, first let me say I have no idea if these are prophetic dreams or not, maybe some of you will have a clue....she says hopefully

Three different dreams over three nights in a row.

First dream:

I was with a bunch of children, apparently I was caring for them for some reason. We were in the wilderness climbing a mountain. When we reached the top one of the children who was looking over the edge started screaming. I ran over to see why he was screaming and I looked over the edge of the mountain and saw many grizzly bears snarling and baring their teeth, they were almost upon us when I looked over the edge. I grabbed some tarps and threw them over the bears, this seemed to disorient them momentarily. When they crawled over the edge they all stood on their hind feet and began marching forward. I began to call out to Jesus for help and the Lord protected us.

Second dream:

I was with a group of people in a town square. We were all talking when someone gasped and pointed down the street. When I looked I saw an 'army' of grizzly bears standing on their hind feet marching like soldiers. People began to run away from the square and hide in their homes.

Third dream:

I was in a tall building looking down a main street that seemed to be deserted, I began to hear marching. Suddenly I saw row after row after row of grizzly bears standing on their hind feet marching, they looked like an army, which is really crazy, because they were quite obviously grizzly bears.

That is it. Anyone have a clue.

Please do not flame me, as I am not saying that these dreams are prophetic, that is just the feeling they gave me.

I have no interpretation for this, but let me ask: Did you, perchance have anchovy, jalapeno, and red onion pizza for dinner all three nights?!!?

Maybe it is because I live in Wyoming and there have been several grizzly attacks on hunters lately.....ouch that has got to hurt.

The grizzly bears represent the works against God's people in this world. They are a massive army that is out to destroy. A grizzy bear is something you cannot take down with one shot from a gun. It can out run a human and can tear them to shreads. This is symbolic of the enemy that wants to destroy us.

In the first dream it represents the western world (excluding Europe) of Christianity. We are protected on a plato from the enemies of this world. However they are quickly marching up the plato. The tarp you threw that disoreinted them was symbolic of the laws we throw at people and the signs we tote around. We try and stop the forces of evil from taking over our country through means other than the Gospel. Your dream proves that these do not work, and that America will eventually fall. You were with Children, which is really what the majority of American Christians are spiritually. We are not deep in our theology of love of Christ, thus when the bears come, we will be frightened but will have no way to escape.

The second dream is speaking of the already persecuted Christians in this world. They are not free to roam around as they wish and must live in a constant state of hiding. They retreat to their homes but in your dream I'm betting that they were not even safe there.

In the third dream it is talking about European Christianity, which has for all intents and purposes been defeated. This is why you see very few people, and the people you did see scattered very quickly. Christianity has been silenced over there and the forces of evil can march as they wish.

I must ask you, has God been tugging at your heart about missions work or persecution lately?

One thing I forgot to add:

The reason a Grizzly bear stands up on its hind legs is to intimidate and scare off any potential threats. The reason the bears are on their hind legs in the dreams is that the evil forces seek to intimidate us and scare us into submission. Afterall, a scared Christian is a Christian who cannot be used.

Allow me to add that the symbol or Russian power is the bear. From what I have seen it looks like gods messages have several purposes. When the antichrist comes, Jerusalem is told to flee to the hills. They are also promised protection from the beasts. Likeways one possible future is that The USA will cease to be a sovereighn nation, and international law will supercede our constitution. Perhaps in the future we Christians will be seen as terrorists and there will be international forces on our own soil enforcing this international law.

Sometimes threatening animals in our dreams can represent our own fears, so I have heard. Is there something in your life that may be threatening you, or that you feel threatened by?

Disclaimer: I'm not claiming any "dream interpretation abilities"; these are just general prinicples I've learned of.

Thanks everyone, that sheds some light on all of it. Especially what Super Jew said. We have been invited to go overseas on missions the last year, to Africa, Nepal, Phillipines etc. The Lord has not released us to go yet. We have an over the air radio broadcast and we minister there in other ways, but so far the Lord has not released us to go. So the missions thing makes sense, also we have experienced a bit of persecution here in our own home town. I thought of Russia too because of the association in scripture to Russia being the bear. All of this was very helpful to me. I appreciate all of your input.

Leonard, I grew up in Denver and seven years ago we moved up to Wyoming. We lived on the western slope before we moved up here to Wyoming. It is snowing here right now, we live in a mountain town and we get snow from Sept. to May, but oh how beautiful it is. You guys are the best. God bless, Mary (ellie)
