It's a play on a curse word using Mitt Romney's name and was a jab at those who opposed Obama by voting for Romney. It was divisive as well. I'd link to it but see no point in furthering division. It's easy to find on the internet. It was twitter post.

I don't know why is shocks me I would not expect anything else from Hollywood. We really need to be praying for our country. Maybe if people boycotted Jamie Foxx and his shows he may change his toon. Guest man
Anyone ever hear of "sucking up to someone"? That's all he was doing.
Guest man
A question was asked and not answered. I am curious of everyone. In what way should Christians respond to his comment? Obviously not with rioting or violence. He should be ignored.

It is offensive to Christians, but is humorous to our heathen antagonists in Hollywood. They can yuck it up and applaud all they want, but: Isa 45:23: I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. They will kneel before Him and Confess He is Lord. The bible has been out for millennium, there's churches in every community, there's Christian programming, you can access the bible anytime you want to on the internet. They will have no excuse. I choose to skip to the end and post here without checking it out. For what jumped in my mind was: Mat 8:22 But Jesus told him, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead." Well I see I wasn't the only one that thaought "He should be ignored". Edited November 26, 2012 by OldShep

I will not agree to what Foxx said ...or try to make up some excuse for him ...because he is of the world and not a Christian. A Christian would not put Our Lord down like that , making man ..Obama...equal to Jesus Christ. I don't agree to this or find some excuse for Foxx. For I am a Christian and do know I am a represenitive of Jesus Christ . I am to represent my Lord and God and to defend Him . Foxx has no excuse he insulted our Lord and Savior ... "First give an honor to god and our lord and savior ,Barak Obama" It is out on the front page news on the internet . Our God gives us jobs to earn a living. Foxx is honoring Obama on his job saying ....Obama is god and lord and savior.

Here is the issue: Jamie Foxx equated Obama and Jesus. I have heard comments all over the board on this one. I actually heard it when he said it last night. Like I said I thought I was imagining it. Especially when I saw no one in my FB news feeds mention something about it. Simply put Jamie Foxx really stepped over the line. While some might say it was comedy, I didn't see anyone laughing but applauding the comment. It is sad, but whats worse are those that say they believe yet are saying they wish Jamie Fox to go to Hell, amongst a treasure trove of other rather disappointing comments. Lets not reduce the comment and the need to pray for Jamie Foxx with silly jabs at one another. We are still learning, but let us remember we are bound by Christ not a party. Right; I thought the attacks on each other were supposed to stop.
