There's more to a good relationship then just being a good guy-or woman. You have to click so to speak. You need to have that connection, that one thing that attracts two people and its different for everyone. You have to find someone that not only is of good character-but that you also "mesh" with so to speak. A couple has to complement each other. If you don't complement each other then your better off single. So just be patient and give it to God and let Him bring you the right one at the right time

Hi Thunder...I agree with everything that has been said...I was 20-30 once...Hahaha...A long time ago...I lived through it without God...Well, He was with me...but I wasn't with Him...Didn't know Him not one iota...I truly know from experience that I left my First Love...I had had some contact like going to Vacation Bible School at a very young age, once...and that was it...and I certainly didn't stick with any of it...until years and years later...Then I found out The Truth...

Now I know that had I first developed a meaningful relationship with God (which is very very possible because now I've lived it-John 17:3) then my relationships on this earth would have been different...and not based on the desires of my flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life...

The Way God Can Change Us Is Very Very Attractive!!! We Become Confident...In Him...at times...We Are Sensitive and Compassionate...Everything I wanted in a man; I found out later were the very things that were In Jesus...Deep down every person whether they know it or not...They want the characteristics of Jesus in another person...So it is in our best interest to get To Know The One Who Created us...and First Loved us...The One That Died For Us...The One Now That Leads and Guides us...Even when we didn't even know He existed...or before we were even born...He Loved us...and when you meet someone else that knows Him like that...Well...there are no words that can describe the Goodness... Amazing even to me that I used to be a party girl...almost died from some things that I thought were ok...but they weren't ok...

There is one more point that I have noticed in this journey called life...when we have this wonderful relationship with God...well...He draws people to us...Christ In us...The Hope of Glory...He will draw the right one and in His Time...I believe that with everything in me...He will give us the desire of our heart...If we Seek Him First...I'm a witness...

What does the Bible say: For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world. 1John 2:16

and also: But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

I believe every Word In The Word of God Is True...

Love In Him, Kathy

I hope this doesn't open up a can of worms but one of the areas in my life I am struggling with is I am having trouble with girls. It's kinda odd that they say, well good guys don't exist anymore and things like that. When I am this good guy and constantly getting rejected. I don't understand....

charlieclub.jpgfor a long time I thought clubs were an answer....

From my experience women are looking for a guy who has direction in life (job, career goals) and some stability (spiritually, financially, emotionally, and intellectually). Personal grooming is also attractive to women. Just a few thoughts. Keep praying God will bring the right person into your life at the right time. God is never early and he's never late.

Might be good to do some serious preparation as well with God, so that you will be ready when the day comes. I had already given up all hopes for a relationship and preferred to walk only with Him, but gave one last chance He may fix that if He so wishes and now I am married with my beloved wife, have children and everything. But the preparation is useful, because that's what God often needs to complete before letting us into His planned relationship so we don't just go and blow up everything in one instant.

A relationship is a complex thing because it not only brings up the very best we can be, but unfortunately over time often also the worst stuff we have not yet dealt with.

So one might possibly want to take some time for prayer and see if there's something the Lord wishes to speak into one's heart about this.

Don't you worry about the women, or anything. Rest assured when God sees you're truly ready alongside the one He's got in His mind for you, nothing can stop you from meeting that significant person in question.

We'll be waiting to hear from you. If God is on it, it's a done deal.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
